yes, i was hoping they would release a 3700x with maybe rtx 2060 or 2070. i had the first edition (the one with 7700k and 1080) for a year. it was really quiet for having only one fan, considering the performance. I'd like to have one again.
@@AweSamAlwaysI don't live in a tropical country but the temperature is around those numbers and my RTX 2070 non Super (the XC Ultra model from EVGA) reaches 77C while playing DOOM Eternal at 1440p. The Corsair One has got a really nice cooling system from what I can see, so it shouldn't be a problem for the GPU. About the 3950x while using Handbrake... well, that's another story.

At 5:55, where you mentioned the 3950x pumping out more heat than the 9900K, doesn’t the 3950x (at stock) only pull around 142-148W? The 9900K at stock I believe pulls around 150-160W before the Turbo Duration of 56 seconds (or whatever) expires.
Why? Just build a cheaper DIY (if you have the time) and forward the money saved towards an RTX3000 when it comes out, sell the old RTX2080 when you can. Better yet, save more and just rock a GTX 1080/TI for the time being.

In the DIY build comparison, did you use an AIO cooled card? Technically, that’s what the A100 has, minus the fans that may be included. Then again, it’s 1 fan vs however many you included for the H1 so might round up back to the same/similar amount
You can increase the cooling. I have the intel corsair one and I switched out the top fan with the Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-3000 and it dropped the temps 10 - 15 degrees celsius.
Demetre, quick Question: I have the i165 and love it. Was thinking about adding the i200 when it's released. Do you think the heat of the new i9-10900 chip will be similar to the i9 9900k, or will the i200 likely suffer the same fate as the a100 Ryzen and have much increased fan noise? Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.
Sometimes I wish UA-cam doesn't suggest me your videos because, almost every product you review and talk about is never going to be available in India and will cost me a fortune to ever buy and experience all the good things you say. Corsair should consider a let's call it a pro version of this case that's 25-30% larger but in the same shape, now that would be a good step forward because they're onto something with this design
I just wanted to add that X570i-gaming MBO that is included in this PC has 2 small fans, and one of them boosts to 6000 rpm when system is under load and the sound it produces drove me crazy, just because of that I've returned the MBO back. Everything else about this MBO is great, but that small fan was unbearable ( I even checked if there is thermal pad on the chipset, there was ).
I'd like to be able to get the cheapest model, upgrade to a 3800XT or 3900XT, a 2080 Ti, a Big Navi or RTX 3080 depending on price and performance. If possible, I'd swap out the fans for some Noctua Chromax fans but it looks like you would have to jerry rig mounting slim 120mm fans on the rads to improve cooling. Or better yet provide the case as a barebones DIY like the NZXT H1 and let us provide the hardware to customize it to our heart's content.
You can't increase the fan speed, but you can replace the top fan with a beefy Noctua 3K RPM fan. I did so and it affected the system temps quite a bit, but boy is that thing loud at max RPM! XD
lol how loud is it now? I might need to pick one up just to hear it for myself. I love the noise profile of the machine at load, but when wearing headphones i wouldn't going going louder on the fan. Thanks for the tip. -D.
In the world of pc, things get better pretty quick so I would say save up if you want the best of the best in a couple years or build one right now with mid tier components and save up for the upgrades in a couple of years.
Comparing to big o is not fair as it has a console inside. Best to compare the case with formd t1 or Ncase m1. As both are sff cases with former being 9.5l and later 15l.
1:15 "...since most x570 itx motherboards have an internal usb-c connector.." What are these motherboards that you're talking about?? I've been looking to replace my rog strix because it doesn't have one and to this day can't find one.
So you still give the Ryzen version of these beasts the gold standard? Do the temps really get that scary? Coming from a guy who (when he finds the time) tends to spend several hours playing games, I'd be very worried about my a100 getting too hot. Especially since they're over $3000, which isn't complaining considering the prices of these components individually add up to nearly the same so you're paying for the professional build along with the innovative design of the case (which both things i'm 100% fine with). I have desperately wanted one of these for almost 3 years now... I think I'm finally ready to take the plunge but I don't want to buy an old school Asus laptop in terms of heat output (frying eggs and what not). Also I was planning on buying the 3900x model... It would be interesting to see how it performs with a better fan (that fan really lets the system down). The size is impressive, although I wonder if they could have made the system even quieter buy having fans on the radiator providing more airflow with less RPM and buried further into the system to further reduce the noise. I do reckon you could do a similar system on air (build around the high-end heatsink of someone like Noctua or bequiet)
I'm honestly surprised at the cooling performance of the radiator on the 3950x. I had one cooled on a single fan 92mm tower cooler, and got significantly better temps than they are here. Still neat, always liked the Corsair One designs even if they are super overpriced.
