- I love recipes that can be easily modified and customized for endless variety. This whipped feta dip is one such recipe. The "base" recipe is just three ingredients, and you can add as few or as many other "add-ins" as you'd like to make it your own.

Dude. You are the mad scientist of the kitchen. Hands down the best Keto channel on UA-cam. Love your recipes and how they're broken down so simply!
Loved it when you asked Colton if he knew what happened to the pistachios. Innocent look and complete silence.😂
THAT is a winner. Took the plain recipe, topped half of it with marinated sun-dried tomatoes. Brought that with some keto crackers to a winemakers group potluck. Only woman, only vegetarian, only keto person. All else stereotypical macho omnivore men. Got several "great dip!!" comments. Ta-da!! A winner!! I'm very very pleased. So yummy! Thanks
Nice!
I did this a couple of weeks ago (but with Greek Yogurt instead of cream cheese) and Everything But bagel seasoning and it was siiiiiiiick :D. Pork rinds are my go-to for a vessel. Such a great dip!
We are grilling today :also used Greek joghurt and its our chip and dip with home made pork rinds
wonder how that changes the fat, protein carb count.... love this change up...
OMG that is spectacular. I'm so glad you suggested the block feta in the brine my family lives in various parts of Greece and that crumbled crap that you get at the grocery store is just that crap so dry and so salty. While you were putting the toppings on I was thinking kalamatas would be good and that was your next topping yay! I'm going to try it with some red pepper flakes in my grinder to make a powder and some Calabria Chili's. The ideas are endless thank you so much! And love the idea of using the brine!
I just wanted to tell you from the 1st of January’s challenge to your up-date on the 1st of February what a difference in your outward looks (of joy) and personal presentation....wow...I’m going to say it again as in the past , if you were my son I’d be soooooo proud of who you have become....seeing I’ve seen your videos for almost 2 years now (?)....well for a time.....May the Lord bless you and your service to people = Appreciated......lol now I’ll go back to the video seeing I’m only :13 second in.....
Thank you.
If it's Colton approved, it MUST be good!! Looks and sounds DELICIOUS!! 😋😋😋
I love our community because everyone shares and expands upon each other's recipes!! It certainly makes for a more enjoyable and SUSTAINABLE experience!! 👍👍
Love to you and your beautiful family!! ❤💙💜

This is right up my alley, absolutely love anything Mediterranean! Will definitely be trying this one out. My regular quick dip is whisking together room temp goat cheese, sour cream, garlic, S/P, and a ton of dill. I often keep a bag of veggies and a batch of this at work for lunches when I don’t have leftovers to bring in. The teenage boy prevents leftovers most days! 🤣
Sounds great!
Last night we made a meal with "Mediterranean Grilling Cheese", which seems to be the same exact thing as Halloumi. I cut up and cooked some butternut squash in about 2T of coconut oil, until browned. Then I added chopped onion, copped mushrooms, chopped red peppers, salt and pepper. Cook until onions are soft. Move to a 350 degree oven (you need an oven safe pan) for about 10 minutes. While that is cooking, in another pan fry some pepitas in about 1T of coconut oil. Once brown, move to a plate. Slice the cheese in half through the middle so you have two thinner slabs. Coat with cumin, salt, and pepper. Grill for about 2 minutes per side in the oil from the pepitas. Divide veggies from oven onto two plates, put the cheese on top, dress with some pesto, and then the pepitas on top. Delicious, and very Mediterranean! The cheese doesn't melt, it stays firm. Some call it "bread cheese".
@@tornadotj2059 Oooh that sounds good! I took a screenshot so I wouldn’t lose track of your idea. 🙂 I love halloumi so am sure I’d enjoy this!
You had me at 🍋 Lemon Zest!
I think this would be a nice Springtime Dip.
I don't like feta that much, but with the cream cheese and add-ins.... I bet I'll love it.
You seem... in your element when making keto recipes for us.
Thank you.
I need more of this. I’ve been doing keto for 17 months and needing some inspiration. I love to get in the kitchen and experiment- but I’m running out of “fresh” ideas. Thanks and please keep doing videos like this!!
My tarragon is peeking up through the winter duff...I think that will be awesome!
I just made this for Turkey Day tomorrow. It is so delicious! Best wishes to you and the family this holiday!
Yum! I have 2 aerogardens with herbs, basil, chives, cilantro, parsley, thyme and mint. New uses!
Perfect!
Omg. So definitely going to try this. Thinking roasted red peppers might be a nice added topping
Thanks for sharing this recipe! I am going to make it. I really enjoy when members of your family are part of your broadcast. Also, I find your information consistently valid and reliable. Well done.
This base recipe plus garlic is what I use for the “viral baked feta” with your amazing noodles/pasta. Tomatoes are optional. If I’m using it as a main dish, I add some shrimp, cooked shredded chicken, or both, with whatever fresh herbs I have on hand. There are countless possibilities but we’re not that adventurous (I am, hubby isn’t) when it comes to our food.
Now I want some, and I have everything I need to make it. Good thing I make a double batch of noodles at a time 😉
This looks incredible!
Thanks, Steve! Can't wait to try this. Looks delicious! ❤
Awe so sweet . And the recipe looks great too

Steve, perfect timing because I made a fresh batch of crackers and this dip will go perfectly. We have a greek grocery store nearby and the feta selection is out of this world. I'm going to try adding some dill. Love your final presentation....guest worthy!

Oh my gosh Steve, you just solved my Christmas gift dilemma! Everyone is getting a big bowl of this dip !! Thank you! And Happy Thanksgiving
Yum 😋 thank you 😊
Steve, this looks great! What an awesome replacement for hummus and the tasty flavor combinations it comes with. We'll give it a try after the latest snowpocalypse clears.
I forgot to mention that this is best at room temp. Straight out of the fridge, it's a little stiff.
Looks YUMMY! Going to buy some feta now!! 👍👍👏‼️
A good dip for celery, I like this idea an as you say he combinations are infinite
I used to make a bread dipping pesto of basil, garlic, EVOO and salt - delicious. I'm going to try it on top of the whipped feta mixture (and keep sugar-free mints nearby!)
Love the "Family Review"!
Thanks for this.
looks great, nice family cute grandson!!.ill try this.thanks Steve
I'm going with diced roasted red pepper and roasted garlic. Suggestion: instead of red pepper flakes, try ground berbere.
That would be a good combo.
Wow Steve thanks again this looks so good . I am going to try to get to the store today between the rain here in Florida and make this . I just finished my chaffles now off to make your crackers again so darn good . Yeah I am a little hungry just finishing a 24 hour fast today .
Cucumber dill sounds yummy!
Good grief, there goes my PSMF...🤣 Great recipe Steve! Feta is on my top 10, gonna try this with light versions👍
sorry to text again BUT your wife & your grandson makes this video an A+++++.so enjoyed this. And guess I needed the joy this brought to my heart....
A winner.
I was actually planning to ask you , at some point, what I could do with the harissa that is in my cabinet. This is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much!
Haha we have to keep an eye out for murder logs when we kayak. TFS the recipe AND the graphic. 😆
Sitting here in the early morning darkness and found myself literally saying out loud "oh, yeah...this is gonna happen"! Thanks for sharing!!! :D
Best recipe ever!!!! Mine stretched to 7 4oz servings. I used it as dip and as sandwich spread. Beyond incredible! I added different topping but by far the best was lemon zest and pepper. This is going to become a staple in my home. Thanks so much!
Glad you liked it. 🙂
Hi Steve! Just discovered your channel and wanted to say how impressed I am. Great delivery and content. Had my 1st ever chaffle today. Not too eggy, but too salty. Next time will make with cream cheese. Next? Chocolate ones. Wishing you all the best on your challenge. Your confession video was very moving. I just gave up alcohol this week! Thanks so much for your channel and stay well and warm.
Made it today. Was delicious. Thank you. The next time i will try it with heavy cream instead of Olive oil in hope that my child would eat it too.
I've recently discovered the combination of wasabi and basil paste. So I'll try that!
I just made this with garlic and dill. It made a great topping for hamburger patties.
Probably even better on lamb burger patties. 🙂
My 15 year old son just came on board with Keto. He's a foodie and loves cooking. He is going to love this recipe.
Sounds great!
I discovered Feta cheese in Zirndorph Germany back in the late 80s early 90's. Good stuff. i loved being stationed there.
I love this idea Steve, I just shared it with 8 different people. Maybe they'll get hooked on you like I am😋
Goodness can't wait to make Whipped Feta. I can already tell this will be my new addiction. (I love my Keto lifestyle)
Looks like a winner, running out to buy the ingredients this morning.
I’ve been using a recipe similar to this where the whipped feta is layered with sun dried tomato pesto and basil pesto. The red/white/green/white color layers make it great for Christmas buffets. Now I’m going to make it with your toppings. Like all great ideas I’m wondering why I never tried any other toppings before.
Yum
Looks yummy! Will need to try with your crackers! 😋
This is definitely one for me. Thinking roasted red peppers for a topping,,
Lol when you >>>>really
Yum!
That sounds yummy! I would try lemon.
I didn't have feta but I did randomly have queso fresco....OMG this was ahmazing! I did make your sesame flaxseed crackers and it was absolutely fantastic together. The two recipes were simple and quick to make. They will now be staples in my weight loss journey! Thank you so much for this!!!
Did you use the same ratios of cheese?
@@ChristineLV I did! The package was 16 oz so the extra 4 ounces will be used tomorrow night for pork tacos!
YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have had a feta dip that I have made for years. It is very similar. Now to try some keto crackers!
