Slicing garlic while looking into camera , next level !
I'm married 20 years yikes that's a long time!lol. But I have the exact same unit, I got it as a wedding present in 2000. It too is as good as the day we received it. I use it several times a week. My aunt was a chef in Paris & would go to yard sales here and there look for & buy the kitchen Aid stand mixers. Which are hundreds of dollars to buy now & then. She'd pay $20 bucks. She has about 15-20 of them all ages, it's crazy they all work perfectly fine. And I love The nostalgia of it all looking at them.🙂👍 So keep your beloved Cuisinart food processor. 🤩😘
nothing better than a yard sale score!
I have you beat by a few years. My mother bought one of the first Cuisinart food processors ever made. She was a pro-cook (she refused to be called a chef, but she totally was) and only bought the best kitchen devices. She used it almost every day. She gave it to me after around 15 or more years. I used it constantly for many years (I've been cooking for more than 50 years, I'm 65). I then gave it to my daughter about 18 years ago when she and hubby put together their first apartment and it's still crushing it! It has to be 45 years old or older. The one I bought to replace it died in less than 5 years. Should I ask for it back? 😁 😁 😁
Jenn 🇨🇦 👋 Hi from Canada
lol you might need to !
@@hannahcrowley2030
I agree! 😁 😁 😁
100% will make this. Two of my favorite sandwich fillings made into a spread. I love that you are keeping that processor until it kicks over! We should all be doing that.
Yum! Have all these ingredients on hand and my Mom’s food processor, 30 years and still going strong 💪😋👍
Thanks Hannah! We always enjoy watching your videos!
Easy and delicious! Excellent time-saver for the busy holiday season. Thanks for sharing...
This sounds delicious 😋 thanks for sharing, so nice to make fresh and less expensive than pre-made as well!
Will totally make! I like the idea of sprinkling crushed red pepper on the top. I have the same food processor handed down from the 80s..
Still going strong
That's sounds like a tasty dish, Hannah!! I think we'll be trying it!! You're right about the processor!!Thanks!! 😀👍
Top with crushed red pepper and fresh oregano and olive oil.
I think it would work well with roasted poblano peppers . little more of a bite.
that sounds delicious!
@@hannahcrowley2030 OHH YES! I just made it last night with the poblano pepper .I roasted over oak wood for some smoke turned out awesome family and neighbor loved it . try it out . peace
I had that same food processor that I passed down to my daughter. She’s been using it for years now.
Cream cheese, red pepper jelly, dash of heavy cream, & red wine vin, pinch of paprika, cayenne, & s&p. Whip it good :)
I loooove cream cheese and pepper jelly! Especially with wheat thins.
@@hannahcrowley2030 Indeed it's very good! How do you make yours?
@@thebitcoingarden i just pour the jam over the cream cheese, very retro!
I would love to eat this while looking at leaves FALLing from the tree and at the sad grey sky...
Totally making this!!
Sounds so delicious. Can't wait to try.
I'm not sure which is more intriguing, the dip recipe or the food processor... :-) I want to make this. Thanks for the video!
I'm definitely gonna try this!
Great tips for the garlic and feta.
Whenever I make my version of this, which is VERY similar, I like to add some well rinsed, finely chopped castelvetrano olives at the end. Have to watch out for the salt content, but if you rinse both the feta and olives well it’s a wonderful treat.
i love castelveltranos, i need to try this!
Hannah, that dip looks amazing! Great job!
Ashley, I am your biggest fan!!
Wow wow wow! Love this it looks delicious and love the retro FP!
My cuisinant food processor is about 25 years old. A real work horse. The blade never dulled . The plastic on the base warped slightly - too close to the stove flame that day! I did have to Jerry rig the long safety latch as it wore out, but I’m still happy with it.
Don’t expect your newer Cuisinart to be as well made...
Cuisinart began in 1971, founded by an MIT graduate. They essentially invented the food processor, and they were made in America.
Sadly, the company was acquired by the Conair Corporation, and their food processors are now made in China.
Yum! This reminds me of the feta-walnut dip I make sometimes. I can’t wait to try this!
Recipe please 😋😁
@@Mialuvsveggies It’s the Feta-Walnut Dip from Moosewood Cookbook by Molly Katzen; if you google that, you’ll find it. It’s always a big hit, and it’s super easy. I’ve been making it for around 30 years!
@@mnamous9823 i JUST gave away that cookbook, go figure.
@@hannahcrowley2030 I gave mine away years and years ago, but not before I wrote down that recipe!
What a riot, my Cuisinart Food processor is about 30 years old. The disc for shredding doesn’t work anymore but other wise it’s awesome. It still has a Capt America sticker on it from my now 34 yo son! Ha!
they're the best! sometimes mine smells when i make pizza dough but it always makes it through
That food processor is at least 30-36 years old. It’s the version from the 80’s
Mine is from 1998 and looks more modern
This is very similar to what we call pandemonium dip in my home country - just add crushed red pepper flakes or more of your favorite hot peper
that sounds delicious, what country is that?
Serbia, but the dip is probably popular in other Balkan countries
@@ljubacaldovic1084 very cool. i was in bosnia and croatia a few years ago. serbia is next on my list. i can't wait to get back to that region, it's my favorite place i've travelled yet.
@@hannahcrowley2030 I am so happy to hear that you love the region. Enjoy your travels when this pandemics ends
Yummy!!!!
I love that she brags about having used the food-processor for more than ten years! And she also stated that her aunt had used it for ten years before her! Wow!
“Rinse-e-poo” SO reminded my of my (deceased) mom, who said that all the time. Thanks for the lovely memory!
aww i love that stephen, she sounds like great lady!
YAY HANNAH
That 20 year old food processor is the real mvp
20 years? My Cuisinart is 40 years old and still strong!!!
Jenny's food processor from the block!
Oooooh You had me at "whipped feta"
I cross it I like my olive oil salad kale siding drips.
Awesome! Also: #teamrinseypoo
My Cuisinart just died after 30+ years. Got a new one but it just doesn’t compare. Treasure that gem because you will cry when it’s gone 🤣🥲
Could an immersion blender be used to make this? Or would it not be as creamy
Yes, totally! You might need to scraping down the sides more frequently with a rubber spatula to keep things incorporating but it would work for sure, the feta is soft enough.
👍
Do you think it will work in a blender?
i do! just be careful not to over process
I added some chopped bacon and sauted onions
Rinseypoo?!? LOL
Someone's been watching brad leone hehe
What purpose does the milk serve?
To loosen it up a teenie bit, you could skip if if you want.
@@hannahcrowley2030 thx. My wife is cow dairy intolerant so I might do the sheep’s milk feta and try to make it work because it looked delicious.
@@LBluffBob oh yeah, a little water, a nondairy milk, or even some extra evoo would all work!
Cow's milk feta? Then it is not DOP feta.
you are correct! american "feta"
The cow's milk feta is firmer, as Hannah indicated in the clip...
@@jjsmith3302 the point is, its technically not feta, since that has to be from goat and sheeps milk
Try all the same but don’t whip it with the feta. Leave it instead as crumbles folded into the whipped peppers, garlic, vinegar.
She looks like a pretty and thinner version of Amy Schumer.
it-s just peppers and cheese, what-s with the damn novel behind it? 5 minutes for a blender meal and you have to sit through all of them to get the full ingredients list.
we the people need retroactive from may , 2.000 dollars a month till next may ! otherwise guillotine . claw it back from those who did not need it , but helped themselves !
Yikes a grimy ring!
