Living in America makes me believe that our basic apartments are so out of date and not modern. Merida, Mexico is ahead of America.
It's not ahead, it's jus that American dollar stretches far af in sum foreign economies
@@rav6274 - Yes, true.
@@rav6274 that dollar stretches more down south of the border than the wall does 😂🤣.
But to be honest similar accommodation In Dallas are about 15 hundred to 2k for a one bed near down town Dallas. The issue is availability and credit score.
Every time I see a bench in the shower I just think "Perfect somewhere to sit and shower when I am Hungover AF"
lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love when Black people travel and live luxury ! Loving all your videos , brave of you moving to a new country to live especially in a smaller town . I love Yucatán but couldn’t live there just visit. I hope my people treat you good . You seem to be adjusting well! 🙏🏽
What cities do you recommend for someone who doesn’t know Spanish to get around ?
Intelligent brown people have always traveled., and we speak Spanish etc.
My favorite was #2 by far. It had it all ! Space, lighting, furnished, safety, washer/dryer, all inclusive besides electricity.
Wow ! Just wow !
We wannt mooore videooos pleassee but like more of you '' regular day living in Mexico''. Sending uu good vybzz :*
Luxury or not, what I like about Mexican houses the most, is they are not made with combustible materials. House fires scare the heck out of me.
AGREE!!
I prefer the first home I love that outdoor space
The first home had more potential. Did anyone see the air conditioners???
But "share the pool"?????? And why is the pool not full already? Maybe low rental due to rona
The first home is beautiful... it has everything I would ever want in a house and not excessively big
I lied I prefer the second one 😂 although I love the backyard on the first one
Nice! Definitely loving the first one. The sounds of nature, private pool, and those roof top views 😍! Sign me up now! Great video!
come on bestie! its a bedroom waiting for you lol
The first one looked kinda filthy to me, sometimes a pressure washer is a good investment
Omg the pool for the second home 😍 that’s it. That’s all I need. I’ll sleep, eat and live in that pool😂
Hi Julian! I can’t remember if you mentioned anything about having a real estate background but if you do it definitely shows. You show all of these spaces so well.
Thank you!
Wow ! That’s nice , I’m from Merida and I miss my placed one day I will be back , thanks for showing those places
Thank you so much for these fantastic videos!! Stay blessed and safe always.
I PAID 1-800-GOT JUNK to emptied out my 880sq ft apartment, and I moved to Queretaro,Mexico on 11-2-2021. USA became too deadly and expensive for this 79 years young lady. I have a 100% furnished apartment, that includes ALL utilities and maid service in a gated community. The people have been super nice, and they are respectful, as I am also. I did not have Junk, but controlled memories all in Rubber Maids. I have index cards and I know everything, that was removed, and I miss nothing. The index cards had the location, RM#, and contents within Ziplock bags. I do speak Spanish as a second language, and have lived and visited Mexico for almost 60 years, as well as all 50 states, and all over the world on my own dime from WORKING. I am a giver to non beggars to help themselves, and not a greedy takr, as most people are today. I was raised better.
Put a d before anger, and you get danger. Karma never loses an address. I love your videos.
This was my easy Swedish Death Cleansing. lol
USA Trippin, they treat people nice In Mexico. America be taxin for what???? Flatscreen mattress and new fridge come with the partments.....man
Your Spanish is really good Julian 👍I didn't know I could find you on FB,love your videos! Please keep on posting more, hope you stay in Mexico and Welcome 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽💗💗💗
Thank you !
Nice, I liked hearing the wildlife in the background😊
And the neighbors jajaja
Wow, I'm in Jacksonville Florida, and I can tell you these beautiful homes you are sharing with us is so up to date. It honestly makes America need to do something about the cost they ask for basic zero upgrades.
Omg wow wow !!!!!! The prices are more affordable than PV and Playa!
The second home is so freaking beautiful it’s UNREAL!!!!
I love your videos!! The wind is blowing me towards Merida and your videos are making it easier and easier to just pack my kids up and go lol. Thank you 🧡 😊
I'm leaning towards Merida too. Still doing research for schools for the kids. Wish I would've thought of Mexico sooner
How do you find these apartments for rent? I like 2 best. Washer/dryer full size fridge and a tv in each room and a roof top deck. I forgot security too.
And it’s really bright ☀️
Bienvenidos ❤❤
You are pleasing to the eye & I love ur personality, makes u so easy to watch. And I absolutely luv theses home tours. U do such a great job! ❤️
#1 apt I like. It has a lot of natural light. Lots of green space and it's very interesting
House 1 was NICE...but that rooftop access was SKETCHY!! I cannot imagine coming back DOWN that ladder!
I was soo nervous coming down!
That rooftop is amazing. LOVE all the natural light and hard floors
That mirror over the toilet is a deal breaker for me lol
The first home was the best out of all three but can I say I hella appreciate the closet space in all the units 💕
Yup yup! I like that one with the ladder to the rooftop but how’d you get down from there? I don’t know about you but after a couple margaritas that ladder looks like a problem! 🥴🤣 but that was the cutest one. I loved the entrance, the kitchen on the side, the big palms outside were super cute. It was the plants that sold me. Only thing I missed were the bathtubs. I love me a bubble bath 🛀🏽 Thanks for these vids! I’m looking around the world for where to go so these help!
Uff so we have a story about (house next to) the first house, for another day though! This whole complex is so lovely with the yard and rooftop, glad to see there is another opening there!
I 👍 👍 👍 agree
No 2 apt was the best because of large terrace
you’re one of my favorite youtubers! definitely inspiring me to look into living in Merida. i loved the first apartment for sure!
🤎🤎
Hey 👻! I love the 2nd house with the roof top ! The first one is great 👍🏾 but the ladder 🪜 thing is just dangerous, so that is out !!I would do the second one ☝🏾 instead . Great homes 🏡! Great homes 🏡
First onne it's my favv because of the backyardd wowww!!!
It is so beautiful 🤩
I love the last one because of the layout and furniture. It just gave me good vibes! The apartment with the security feature is also nice. Can you get an idea how much electricity runs monthly? There was a protest regarding electricity in the surrounding vicinity; maybe the brokers can fill you in on that. Overall, great video, rooftops are 💣!!
I have to move to Mexico ✌️ I'm so done with American struggle life !
You are absolutely right it is definitely a struggle, so expensive
You aren’t welcomed here, gringos are taking over our houses and culture, stop promoting gentrification
I love this series!! Thank you for showing us how beautiful these apartments are.
Thanks for watching!
I love it when the choices are so good that it’s hard to pick one! #1 or #2 for me. Loved the common areas in #2. I would definitely use that pool and terrace a lot! ❤️❤️💪🏽🙏
No the outside space was it for me. I might have to pull up to Merida lol!
You aren’t welcomed here, gringos are taking over our houses and culture, stop promoting gentrification
Loved the first two. Both had lots of space, nice furniture, nice details.
I liked how in the second one you didn’t have to climb a ladder lol. I wouldn’t really care except if you have family coming that is older it might be an issue, also it would be interesting getting a hot coffee up there! Haha.
Both were nice and bright which is important to me. Thanks for sharing!
That second unit's terrace and kitchen!!!
Cute young man, the best to you in your journey - keep us updated on your life in Mexico. I am sure you will fit right in with the locals and their culture, you have a nice easy vibe to you.
It is very difficult to choose! I'm from Cleveland so this feels like a different planet lol I travel all over the world in the military and always thought Mexico and the Middle East got a bad rap bc of prejudice!
I love these apartment keep up the great series love it Julian I was waiting for it.
THANKS GIRLIE!
Hey Julian. I'm going to Merida for 5 months in December. Looking to move to Merida. I just love the city, people and the culture. Thanks for showing great places. Gives me a good idea as to the cost of apartments. Could you show some older and traditional casa that are for rent. Great job. Love your videos.
Hope to meet you in December 2021
You aren’t welcomed here, gringos are taking over our houses and culture, stop promoting gentrification
Excellent series I’m enjoying it and taking notes. I loved the rooftop apartment. Please ad in commentary for the apartments regarding proximity to shopping, dining, need for a car, etc. Thanks!!
You’re doing a great job showing us what is for rent in Mexico thank you very much
DANG, when can I move in?!?! I love the 1st home especially all the green shrubs and plants.
EDIT - I love the inside entrance space (terrace?) of the 2nd home, the modern living room, and the pool.
Ola! Julian: My favorite was #3 simply because, I am totally a modern decor kind of woman. You get so many amenities for your money in Mexico & that's definitely a plus! Thanks for sharing this info with us, I can't wait for more! Take Care...Adios!😉
Hey Julian...First I Want To Thank U For All The Tour Videos..That Helps Big Time!..I Am Wanting To Relocate To Mexico..This Year 🥰🙏 So..In This Tour I Loved All 3 Apts. But My Favorite One Is #2 Yasss That One Is A Slam For Me! 😍😍 Much Love ❤️ and Blessings To U 💘
Thank you!
I like the sound of the wildlife seeping in
I think the second apartment was seen by the UA-camr and her daughter Taylor and me? Something like that
Yess I love her channel!
My son just graduated this year and we're looking at the next steps of our lives and this is it I'm so happy I found your Channel
I love that! 🤎
Can you make a video on how/what made you move to Mexico 🇲🇽? The process of moving and job searching ? Thank you 🙏🏽 loving your videos.
Thank you very much for all of the effort you are putting into making videos. You are appreciated. While these homes are nice, for me personally there is too much concrete and glass but constructed in a way whereby which the homes are not cozy enough and just seem to have a cold and impersonal feel... .similar to an office building versus a home .Loved the pools however . And the prices are extremely attractive...definitely would consider one as a vacation home but not my preference as a primary residence. And some of the balconies were more like stepping inside a box due to the high walls and restricted views.
Can you do a video of every day life in Merida and what type of jobs they have especially if you're relocating from the states. And also if you can inquire about their schools just in case someone that's watching your videos that has kids that may consider moving there.
Lately I've been watching a lot of videos about moving to Mexico. I have kids and wonder about schools and what people do for work there.
1st home: Hot; hot; hot, but no aircon? Who washes those high windows? Balconies are nice to have, but very unkept. Looks like a pressure washer is needed. Pool is nice to have, but shared? Who is responsible for the maintenance? Home #2 - Now we're talking, and for $50 less. Home # 3 - For $539 a month I would say this place is the best value, pet friendly and parking is good. I didn't see aircon in bedroom #2. And the room on the right side of the refrigerator off the kitchen was mysteriously avoided while you emphasized that the refrigerator had water access...LOL. My guess is your favorite was #2, did you move in? Well I see this video posted over a year ago and lots have changed I'm sure. But Marida is surely on our short list, second to Lake Chapala for the cooler weather year-round. Thanks!
SOO happy I found your page!
Haven’t seen any new videos from you in awhile! Hope you are okay and adjusting well.
My husband and I live here in Merida, feel free to reach out if you ever have questions 🙂
I think that’s very nice of you.
WOW!! I’m only 3:58 into this video and it’s drop dead gorgeous!!!
These apartments are very nice and spacious. You get way more bang for your buck than in the U.S. for sure. Actually, the rooms with smaller beds can fit a much larger bed because it is a large room.
I love the second one. Playa needs to have prices like this lol.
Usa need prices like this no cap.
I really do appreaciate the beauty of these apartments! I think that Merida would be good for extended vacations1
I liked your video. I would like to see a more recent video on home's and apartments. Thanks Ben
Amazing job you are doing by showing us Mexico houses. Thank you for that. 👌
First one with the garden area to the pool was nice. But the rooftop deck would probably be the one. Going up and down the ladder after a few drinks might be a problem though.😊
Great videos. My favorite is the last one. I don't want a two story and the rooftops really don't get used. And I also loved the pool! Thank you for showing us around.
I definitely liked the first one best, though I did like the rooftop. I just worried about coming down the ladder after a couple of margaritas...
Thank you vety much for showing all these properties! I really liked the middle two. Good to know there are options!
Omg , the first one is the one I love. All are wonderful but I must have my puppies. Love your channel so keep up the great work. Thank you.🌸
I'm definitely considering moving there now. # 2 is my favorite. It has everything I like and need. Will keep Erick's information.
You aren’t welcomed here, gringos are taking over our houses and culture, stop promoting gentrification
I liked the second one. More open and lighting is great. Stairs to the roof definitely better than a spooky ladder! How would you go up the ladder with your food or drink?
First one for sure! 😱Dat terrasse! And I would screen in that deck area right off the living room area... so much potential (and the area has good stores).
The singing of the black grackles you see all over, the zanates, is the first sound I associate with finally being in Mexico as soon as I get out of the airport! There’s also couples of little green parrots noisily flying over the Centro at dawn and dusk. Love the colourful wildlife of the Yucatan (well, maybe apart from the hamburger-sized flying and biting cucaracha! ) 🤗🦜 🦜 🇲🇽
Luv your vids I plan on retiring before 35 and Mexico will be my go to for retirement
I'm glad you went to south Africa, Mzansi fo'sho (for sure) we got real style papa!!
Be careful of mold on walls. Humidity is a big problem. Been thru it myself.
I really liked that second one!
Really liked the first two. Show more like this! Planning on move in May
These house hunter mexicos videos are helping me greatly. finally helping me make a decision on location in mexico.
fyi...I'd turn 1 of any 3 bedroom apts into a gym room. 850 sounds great
Glad they are helpful!
Great video!! Please give more of a proximity to shopping areas (i.e. grocery stores, markets, mall, etc).
Will do!
Hey Julian! Love your channel,, SO Happy for you❗How are you handling the Heat??? Every 1 complains that Merida is Very 🔥 Hot Any suggestions? Stay Blessed Sending Love All The Way From Detroit, Michigan ❤
Hey Ash! I moved here in the winter and the average is about degrees, so its not too bad. I try to refrain from going out between 2-4pm when its super hot, other than that I can deal
@@JulianAlbino 🤣😂🤣 Iktright Stay Outta The Sun🌞 Thanks for Responding& That Gr8 Advice! Many Blessings 2 you KinG👑
The heat hasn't started. Not even close, wait until May...
2nd one is sooooo beautiful!
I love the two with the rooftops. And one that allows animals. I have a 4 pound Yorkie. Thank you
You did a great job thank you! My favorite is the one with the rooftop too!
thanks again for shwoing an AFFORDABLE option for living in Mexico. You are awesome! ☮️ 🌈
This is EVERYTHING
Wow I just subscribed to your channel 5 minutes ago really like how you explain everything and your vibe . After watching your video I feel so miserable and mistreated over in America with all of the huge applications fees and the 3x times amount just to live in a chack.
I love this area and I love these homes you're showing, just looking at your exchange rates.
Exchange rates have changed since the time of the video
Hola de Playa Del Carmen! Keep up the good work! Chiiiiile, my clumsy behind would fall from that latter in the 1st one. 2nd one was my favorite! Looking forward to the next video!
I liked the first house for space and it felt like a whole house. But I liked features of the other two.
Julian, you got me at the end!! Cute tho
I really loved the first place, did it have air conditioning? Keep them coming
Yes, but only have A/C on the second floor.
First one is amazing I would love to have a rooftop like that.
My concern are the building codes in Mexico vs USA. There is a BIG difference.
No. 1 definitely!!
I love the first one! It would be perfect for me and my fam 😍😍😍
That 2nd house is everything from top to bottom and around
That was my favorite
Sold! Lol I love it . I hope something like this is available in September for my move.
New subscriber here 🥳
your videos keep me going after my dreams so I can be living good in the future! Thank you so much! Blessings to you 🥰
Good job Julian keep it up ! 😊
Yea I’d move in the first one 😩🙌🏽
I love the first one 😩😩😩
