- I am leaving this country! Salvador, Brazil maybe I can try again another day, but its time to leave! After being evicted with a racist Aribnb Host, then almost robbed - im taking the hint that its my time to leave and either go back to the USA or follow my first plan and go to South Africa.

Hi Julian! I enjoyed this vlog...hectic experiences but you know the saying about beauty in every struggle, this was it 😅. When you come to South Africa I would love to see you explore a different city/town like Port Elizabeth or East London, they are both in the coast.

I absolutely loved my month in Brazil. It’s amazing how you can visit the same place and have different experiences. There are some great smaller towns.

Oh, I think is the language barrier and not going with guide. I speak Spanish and some Portuguese, so that helped a lot. I had so much fun in Rio, around Copacabana, and Lapa area. I had fun in Sao Paulo too.

I think...I first found you after you had moved from Mexico. So I've seen you have a few rough spots, like East Africa. Or your IG hacked. You are one of my favorite travel creators, I don't really have much in common, but you're a great creator; the end. And no matter how long the video, it always feels like it was over too soon.
Years ago I traveled. And now I'm about to the leave the US--pretty much forever. I watch a LOT of content about travel, so I've put together a list for myself. I hope you don't mind, I just want to share some of my most crucial keys for myself.
-Street record with a DJI Pocket. It's small enough and has superior quality to reduce theft danger and making people uncomfortable.
-No matter WHAT, have a phone. Know the numbers to the local police, the US embassy (and location), and where you're staying
-Have a plan for TOTAL LOSS. If every single thing is stolen, what's my plan?
-Duo Lingo as much language before and during trip

I'm sorry that was your experience in Salvador, Bahia. I visited in 2015 and had a grea time. It was on my to do list and I ticked it. It's a true slice of Africa in the Americas. The Yoruba heritage that they still have despite slavery is awe inspiring. They think tourists have money though and they kept on saying 'Amerikano' to me. I would ignore them because I knew where the story was going.

Germany. Things were just not going my way. God gives us all free will so we get to choose where to go. But sometimes our choices don't align with the vision He has for us.

That, the language barrier and the food were enough for me. People there aren’t even interested in speaking conversational English, which is WILD for an international travel destination

sorry bro..iam from kenya, living in europe..i had a BLAST in salvador, bahia...my significant other was a proffesor at a university, but she made everyday worth it. Heck she would cook me dinner after a long day at the university.
