    Love your work. Glad you took a stand on the heated grip thing.
    I’ve just acquired my first ever hybrid car (because I can’t quite let go of the idea of 280hp of ICE power to the correctly weighted rear wheels) and school runs in full battery mode is a complete revelation. So much so that I’ve been windows shopping for anything electric that can green lane on two wheels all weekend. Hope you do more reviews.
    Have you ever thought about reviewing Patreons’ bikes? If I get something electric, I’d lend it to you. (Yes I am a patreon)

      I bought a 2022 FX today for $10k from the original owner. He spent $15k total with upgrades, add-ons and tax etc. 1,000 miles. Drove it 40 mi home, and it is the single most unique experience of my life, this thing is absolutely ridiculous, the acceleration in sport mode is absurd. They definitely have a long way to go but oh my gosh, this thing is like a spaceship or a rocket, absolutely incredible. I showed up very hesitant to spend that much money and as soon as I started accelerating I knew I would buy it.

      @@obeii1805 Honest answer. I lost multiple spokes on the rear wheel three times and it took 21 days for Zero to ship a replacement the first time. The rear wheel was always a constant issue and my bike cut out on me two times while I was riding at 45 mph, without warning it came to a complete stop, in traffic. I was really lucky I was positioned like I was so I didn't get killed, Zero never diagnosed it. I have many email threads of them ignoring me, not getting back to my dealership and never following up in the end. Zero is a disgusting company and I now only ride Honda gas powered motorcycles and I will not touch electric again. If you get a bad dealership, Zero won't help you and you are totally screwed. I sold the bike for $6,000 after only putting 2000 miles on it, worst purchase ever. Fun bike but zero support is non existent. And my dealership, the largest dealership in arizona, was absolutely terrible. Go AZ Motorcycles of Scottsdale. Dude. Don't buy a Zero.
      After the second time that it died on me in traffic I was done with the company. I have an email thread showing that it took 05 weeks to even respond to the mechanic at the shop, and then the shop mechanic never got back to me, so they never resolved the issue of my bike dying. My last email to them was me telling them that I sold the bike and I gave them the VIN number and I said that that bike cuts out randomly and you don't care about it do you, and they never responded. Fuck Zero. Trash company. Nicole and the other imbecile receptionist are the only ones who answered the phone and they literally don't know anything about these bikes.

    • @russellphotos195
      @russellphotos195 5 місяців тому

      Looks like my comment didn't post. I sold it for $6k, lost $4k. Bike randomly shut down on me twice in traffic, for no reason. 6 weeks later, dealership and Zero could not diagnose and told me nothing they can do. Lost multiple spokes on 3 different rear wheels. Will never buy a Zero again. Horrible company, and my dealership was horrible, and the bike was a lemon.@@obeii1805

    i REALLY want to get into riding electric bikes. I grew up riding a 50cc Moped from ages 13-18. I miss riding on two wheels now being 32. My plan is to start with a Zero FX and ride it around my town for errands and daily driving. Maybe Upgrade after a year or two to a higher performance one. Then a few years after that upgrade even further. This video helped me decide the Zero FX is a solid starting point for me to get back into riding.

      However, I REALLY think the FXE looks super silly and like a kids toy. The FX looks much more mature and badass. Its something I've not been able to get over when it comes to the FXE and why I set my mind to the FX.
      I would really just be using the FX to ride around town and run errands within 30 miles of my home. So I wont be doing a bunch of aggressive street riding which is why I think ill be ok with the FX.

      The ideal solution would be both a hand lever and a foot lever, that's my end goal with my DS with the hand lever bypassing the ABS for riding off-road. A foot lever is handy for holding the bike still and lighting the brake light while keep hands free to do other stuff.

    Here in the US Zero Motorcycles hold their value particularly poorly. What this means is that if you buy it new you are buying it because you really want it. But it also means you can buy it second hand for cheap. My main concern is where and how you replace batteries or really any spare parts. Do they expect you to take it to a dealership? They are pretty far away around here.

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  Рік тому

      I have seen a few comments from you, are you watching the videos fully or just commenting? The batteries are removable for changing so no issue there and availability is ok I think! I googled around about parts availability and found no big threads or much at all of any issues. The other question is why are you replacing the battery? They are good for 1200-1400 charges at 100 miles per charge which is 120,000-140,000 miles. How many ICE bikes do you see with over 100k on the clock? Even then say you did need to buy a new one it is around 3k, giving all the money you saved in so much less maintenance that 3k is not that bad at all.

    • @SirNarax

      @@spicy110 Plan for the worst but hope for the best. As to why I don't want to have to replace the battery but I don't want to buy into something and then not know or not be able to.
