Even though I passed D5 with many characters using my own strategies, because it is also nice to test things by myself, I have been watching all your guides and following your strategies and I can just say it has been a lot of fun. I do my runs with your videos on the background and it's really cool. And that's it, I just want to say that, cheers.
Tried Shotguns; couldn't get there so now I'm trying Wrenches and I can't believe how bad knockback is. I've died so many times knocking the Shields into me, it's laughable. I think I'll try more Defense and less dmg. Thanks for the guides, as always!!! *Maybe it's because Mobile is on an older version but turrets sure have a habit of being placed on the edges, and all of them at once. I've been living on the edge in this Old age.
I've heard turrets act weird on mobile, and without manual targeting it can be harder to push enemies away - I think the best way is to try playing in whatever the smaller area of the field is if you imagine your turrets dividing it into sections. That will focus the bulk of enemy spawns across your turrets from you and force your knockback to push them back over the turrets a second time. Good luck!!
Even though I found your channel just recently, and I've already completed all the level 5 difficulty characters, I'd want to say that I really liked your guides! They're informative, and I really got some fun ideas like revolver jack (I've actually went for these speed boosted lances and getting more enemies to overcompensate its economy problems, but Jack was probably among the hardest characters for me - funnily enough, I consider let's say mutant being among easiest subjectively) :) Thanks for your videos!
The minus map size is also fun with a full landmine build. It's still not good, because it's landmines, but you can cover the entire map with them pretty easily before you die to an elite because you have no damage.
This one is easy. Smaller arena is a huge bonus, downsides are minor and are kind of there as a way to adjust stats for a different map size. With range being less important and slowed down enemies it is easy to do "stand in the center and melt everything" build. At least on Danger 1... My first win on every character I do on Danger 0 or 1 to unlock their item, Though I've cleared Danger 5 already (Engineer) and now am working down the list of unlocks so I have all the tools available for maximum difficulty runs. Seeing how some unlockables are very powerful, it's not mandatory, but would definitely make a difference. And at the same time it is damn tedious to clear the game on easier modes (just so there's minimal amount of tries for every given unlock).
Yeah, I think this one is on the easier end as long as you remember to build speed - the boss wave can be hard with less space to dodge, but that's about it. I made it harder by building engineering, but with shotguns d5 should be pretty straightforward. There's definitely some unlocks that are really nice to have! I will probably do a video on which characters are most important to win with soon. Honestly for most characters I recommend just always playing on d5, then you don't have to spend 20 minutes on d0 :)
great video once again! i actually got most of the things right in your build and strat but i came here thinking i am doing something wrong with how i am knocking enemies into me when i hit them it's really frustrating that it's just a mobile thing and has been an issue for a year now without being fixed according to the comments here. i also like the character as much as you do! being able to see everything on the map at once is really nice for me. regardless of my issues, i will still try to push the engineerig build with wrenches because of how fun the build is and how it makes so much sense with the character. i also think the turrets go to the corners way more than they should because it maybe tries to spawn them in the bigger map. again, really frustrating i wonder if that means trees only spawn in the normal radius for explorer. i have not unlocked him yet to test that for myself as grinding for new characters is really time consuming. it frustrates me that such a well balanced game that makes you go for every stat, item, and weapons depending on your build is treated this way on the mobile version. sorry for the long talk and thanks for reading
I tried the wrench build like 10 times and only managed to reach wave 14. With the shotguns it took two tries and I was able to beat danger 5. I had the feeling this character is super unlucky in regards to the things you get offered.
Engineering builds struggle most on wave 14 I think so that makes sense - it's hard to reliably clear the summons with your turrets. Important to adapt to what's working, so nice job on the win!
Been watching your guides the last few days. I appreciate you for being informative and easy to watch. at first I wasn’t sure if you were a dev of the game, or just severely autistic (given your insane knowledge of the game). I’ve come around to the second option, lol. Keep pumping out the content, i’m here for it!
Would love an order of operation video for handy items/which ones to win with. Currently I have been just trying to danger 5 from left to right top to bottom >_
It does not sadly. Constructs only use stuff from the secondary stats page + engineering, so things like pierce will apply but %damage and lifesteal won't. Engineering builds build very differently to normal builds as a result, so that might help! :D
@@Cephalopocalypse This is very interesting (I've never done extensive research on all the stats and item interactions): So bottom line is that I've wasted a lot of money on a stat which doesn't matter 😂
Do you think you could do a non engineering build for us Android players? Unfortunately Android knockknacks with swinging are bugged and wrenches knock 80% into you instead of away, nearly impossible to use wrenches especially on smaller map. (Knock with straight fire weapons like spike shield work, just not swinging weapons they knock toward)
I already have! You can find a shotgun build as part of my random weapons series, and also a challenge run with screwdrivers (still engineering ofc, but doesn't have the same knockback issues).
@@Cephalopocalypse woot. I was able to survive a danger 5 with screwdrivers. Thanks for all your videos! I've worked through at least half the characters on danger 5 using your techniques. And I never would have realized how good a Stat harvesting was to get going without your advice. I had been ignoring it waaaaay too much to predictably bad results
Man i been wanting to win with your engi builds but there was no pocket factory until 9/13 lol also no renegade or king until now so im hype to get those Ws. Im using pocket factory for he first time now and its so broken lol now i can finally do my D5 Engi/Lumberjack/streamer, etc
Elites, every single time i fail to clear a D5, its always Elites! EDIT: Cleared D5 but never killed a single Elite or the Wave 20 Bosses neither :/ VERY weak build imo. Hard to get killz on Elites. Pacifist next!
Cheers! Yeah, forgetting rerolls is one of my worst habits - I've gotten better since these early days but I would almost certainly be lying if I said I didn't do it anymore :P

That's been exactly my experience the (several) times I've tried to record a video with that build :P

Screaming at you! Not for missing Eng but for not using 0 cost rerolls! Love the vids
Haha, woops! Thanks :D

Amazing video as always. Could you please do a guide on Jack? Im struggling to win with him
You got it! I'll add that one to the queue :)
@@Cephalopocalypse Thank you!

That's pretty much what I did, but it can't hurt to help people avoid my mistakes!
I used the old to get the streamer and as a joke I did a "get outta my minefield" build. It was hilarious.
Wait, doesn't the % damage also apply on the turrets and all that stuff?
This is definitely one of the harder classes imo

I had a shotgun build you mentioned since it had more "boomer" energy and it plays like a dream

Awesome, I'm glad mobile is getting pocket factory, it's such a fun item!
Mine build would be funny. Mobs slowly walking on mines with explosions covering quarter of the map.
I haven't had luck getting mines to work but this is probably the character for it! Great idea
AAAAAAAAH!
(Screaming at you as requested)
AAAAAAH I APPRECIATE IT :D
good stuff, nice flowers ❤
Haha exactly. Thanks!
Now I wanna see that shotgun build with Old. I see him as Clint Eastwood shooting aliens.
I have a couple fun challenge runs with Old in the works, the unique map lets you do very weird things
“You ain’t from around here, are ya boy?”
Old is a SLOW POKE!!!
