The Guangzhou East Station is actually the city center, not somewhere outside the town. Most of “police” are security guy.

Most of them are actually security guards, if you are rich enough you could afford to have many security guards working for you and guard your house, but I won't call them police though.

You are funny, dude. 😂You see protective fire hoods in the room and you say ironically : that's filled me with confidence? I choose to think you are merely jesting because you should actually be pleased the hotel has made provisions for every eventuality. When I see life buoy rings on a boat, I actually feel safer. 😀 As a Brit who has travelled to China and experienced the country for myself, I often feel very sorry that the country has been subjected to so much unfounded negative press and what's worse, having its sociocultural customs and norms filtered through the biases of a Eurocentric perspective.

China is different from other countries, they are another world. You should be prepared before departure. China does not have cash, yes, cash is not used at all. China is also a super Internet country, and everything is solved through your mobile phone. It may not be convenient for international travelers. When I commented on this video, it was already 8 days ago. I guess you're not ready for VPN, so your video hasn't been updated.
