Yes, the handwriting was excellent. It's quite legible for Chinese. And the calligraphy looks a little bit like traditional chinese characters in Qin Dynasty, which is about 2000 years ago.
The reason for the "no-pictures" sign at the lake is probably because there will be so many people during the peak tourist season, and the railings at the lake are not very high, making it easy for people to fall into the lake due to pushing. This sign is a pre-warning and can be used when the crowd gathers too much, and it will have staff from the scenic spot to guide tourists in this place. There are so many people in China's scenic spots during the peak season that you can't even imagine them, so extra safety measures are required, even if these measures seem unreasonable in the off-season. @KenAbroad

Good to see you guys again🎉
I visited rural areas of china in the late 70’s. I was a bit of an oddity to the locals. There was a very bad winter 🥶 if it wasn’t for a kind farmer and his family I would have perished. I will never forget their hospitality and kindness. We could not understand each other, but we knew we were all human.
70年代末?我能询问您在那里做什么吗?例如你的工作?70年代对中国来说,是一个非常狂野的时期。太冒险了。
@@Hacksilber I had been working at Rongbuk monastery. Doing some cooking and cleaning. It was very good, nice and quiet. It had given me some time to think. Eventually it was time to head for home, that took me through China. I had started in India, it was a long journey. I would like to do it again. But I am old now. At least memories do not fade. ✌️
@@Hacksilber yes you are correct. I would love to travel through china again. I have many fond memories. I would love to visit the farmer and his family. To thank them for saving my life. So many years ago. I have been able to have a wonderful life, many thanks to them.✌️
Your hand writing was very good actually!
If you guys are still in Xi'an perhaps you guys could visit Huashan , the mountains are very beautiful and if you guys are brave enough you can walk the planks on the side of the mountain , it's abt 30 min to 1 hr way from the city
Yes, Huashan (mountain)! Highly recommended and a memory one would never forget

Thank you for sharing the video. So enjoyable. Next time you can ask the store to help put the bottle tea in the hot water to warm it up. They can offer that
