Like the video. Noseman is killing it. But, UV tools didn't get any major updates since S24. Texel density in packing is a long-time feature request. And the option to choose which UV channel material should use is also missing.
Where in the modeling process should I unwrap? The UV for a pizza carton for example gets flat and good early in the modeling, but after adding geometry to make details etc, the UV isn't as simple anymore. Should you start the UV-unwrapping before the modeling is done/SS is added etc? Or wait until the detailed model is finished?
Hello. I'm color blind, so colored UV edges that are connected are no good for me as I have diffulty seeing the colors. Is there a way of highlighting the edges like the plugin EasyUV or likr Maya? Thx
Noseman have some much knowledge and SO POOR OVERCOMPLICATED way to explain anything. I would recommend to look at Bob Walmsley's from insydium tutorials, he is always on topic.
NOSEMAAAAN LEGEND!
Finally! I was waiting for this tutorial for the last two years!
That's pure gold! Thank you for the great session!

Darin Stop interrupting knowsman presentation.😜
agree!
I really dream about a UDIM packing feature, Jesus! What's wrong with Maxon?
Maxon should really rename UV unwrap to cut and UV weld to sew/stitch
That u set a projection type via a material tag is the worst workflow I have ever worked with concerning UVs.

Did he really just take a screen grab if a texture map for photoshop? That was actually more work and less precise…
