You guys are doing an amazing job helping us make a difficult decision when we can’t travel and try them all, I am still super happy with the one I got last year and I had to choose based on videos like this one.
I can see why the Yamaha is the most popular. It by far sounds the best to my ears and it is gorgeous. I wish there was an option for a fretted fingerboard.
There's a 'Fiddle Fretter' that you can easily mount on a violin fingerboard (though a 5-string fingerboard might be shaped different to use this). But such things exist, you can try looking up other similar products.

Aurora must have changed the WS. Mine has a built-in preamp. Is the pickup in the current version the same as in previous models?
They did change that. Same pickup, though.
That’s a shame. I think I’d prefer the built in preamp.
