I've always loooooved the rasp in Hayley's live vocals, it always made me sort of sad that the studio versions never had it hahah. And for someone who jumps around and dances as much as she does onstage it's insane that she never loses her breath. I've never come across someone who sounds even a little bit like her, her voice is so unique and so easy to recognize as HER. I could listen to her sing live forever
One of my friends Leila, has been listening to Hayley for ages (since she started listening to music pretty much) and so Hayley influenced her singing, so she sings some vowels and such like Hayley. Ughhh people always react to the worst compilation of her. Half of these performances were when she was sick or losing her voice. If you ever react to a more recent compilation of her the one "Proof Hayley Williams can sing" by rosecoloredvocals is good.

It's a shame this compilation used some of her mediocre performances, and clearly leaned toward just personal faves, not her actual best live vocals. There are way way way way better live performances. Hell two videos were of her with bronchitis. Like... why?
Yeah just why? All I know is that she's the greatest vocalist our generation has ever had.

@@shelleytamara That'd be true if they let viewers _know_ she was ill at the time. People can't be impressed if they don't know she was even facing adversity. They'd be more inclined to assume that was a rough take instead of think she was sick.
It was also called Best Live Vocals, but they missed most of her actual bests. I'd rather they highlight those than praise her for singing ill (which could've ended quite badly even if her talent is bonkers). She slays the game, but this video maker did a poor job.

I’d also recommend checking out their cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Everywhere which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and also any performance of 26, which will make you weep like a baby but in the best way.

I started crying at the end. I’ve been a fan of paramore for so long and to see a stranger to the band just enjoy and love her vocals is amazing.
Most of the live performances where her voice cracked she was sick! Usually she has a very full voice, even tho she manages to sound amazing even when she's ill, absolutely love her!
You should definitely react to more recent Hayley vocals cos still a lot of people think she ‘can’t sing’ now purely because the style of singing she’s doing now is different to befofe
She said herself that damage from vocal nodes have damaged her voice and reduced her range. But yes she can still sing
I don't care what anybody says about Hayley. That rawness is what made Paramore so real. I hate to think Hayley has to pay a price for that. I really felt she could break her voice on demand.

I've seen Hayley live (3) THREE times, and each time it's like she keeps getting better? It's like going to church when she does 26 or when she did Only Exception and the pure energy she emits like SEEPS into the crowd. It's electric when you go see her. Also Brenden is my bae, and I love him, gotta love all those pop-punk bands, never forget those emo years guys~

The Reading one where they are just sat on the stage with a massive crowd was done because the sound mucked up. There was only one mic working so they decided to just play a few acoustic songs and hope the mic pics up the guitar sound. That is a true artist someone who doesnt just walk off stage and is willing to try something even if it is infront to thousdands of people. I love her voice and paramore.
You can't do a best live vocals video of her without doing Let The Flames Begin from The Final Riot! soundtrack. come on now

Paramore: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert. That was a great acoustic performance. You will enjoy it. She is my best. Her voice so powerful, I' so proud her.
Hayley has 4 octaves and is incredible! She’s been in the biz for like 15 years. Also she now has a solo album and it’s incredible.
You nailed it in one of your first comments, Rebecca, "I'm into her"... The more I listen her singing or performing or in the videos, the more I love her. I haven't seen many singers so talented and with such a carisma like Hayley. Everything she does is sooo cool and emotional. Simply stunning!!!

been waiting for this video for so long. Hayley's vocals give the chills, i've literally got goosbumps rn. Man i love paramore. The compilation was good, but it's missing so many good live moments from the past 3-4 years, they didn't show any of her lower register + she was very sick during feeling sorry and decode's performance.
You should react/listen/watch the video of passonfruit(drake cover), everywhere(fleetwood mac cover from the parahoy performance), and if you wanna cry the tiny desk performance, especially the song 26.

The video of her on the rooftops when you called her raspy, she actually had laryngitis when she sung that which makes it 100% more impressive
I saw her live at Reading festival (which appeared in your vid) ... the sound system had actually cut out in the middle of her set , so the band and her had to entertain the massive crowd acoustically, without most of their equipment.. it was the best part of the festival for me.. especially as they could cut back to full sound half way through the song at a glorious time to make it a magical moment... amazing voice, amazing woman.. i love her

Yay I absolutely love Hayley! I’m taking voice 101 and it’s a small class so we each work on solo songs. I picked “still into you” as mine and it’s been kinda hard learning to sing but I think my biggest issue now is like confidence in getting the sounds out and sustaining them. This video actually gave me some helpful insights for my practice performance coming up later today thank you!! I love this channel, always great seeing my fave artists on here

There was a period of time when she was destroying her voice, you can hear it on all those "cracks" she was really strugglin' on those high notes. Luckily, she got some nice lessons, and now she really takes care of her vocal cords
