Who am I?
Expert singing teacher, specialising in teaching children and young adults in singing and musical theatre. She has worked with the likes of The Saturdays for MTV, on shows such as Just the Two of Us for the BBC and many more. Throughout her years of teaching she has judged in many competitions, judging Lucy Spraggan, George Samson, amongst others who have gone onto succeed in the business.
I am the founder of Vocaltutor, (founded 2003) the UK’s largest vocal and singing tuition network and now The New Foundry Studios which opened in 2013.
I have worked with BBCTV on Just the Two of Us, with many celebrities including Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten, plus has worked for ITV on many children’s TV programmes including The Worst Witch, as their vocal coach.

@Shakur Wright the girls didn't get a choice on what they sung. All 5 of them had to record the exact same part and then they would get chosen from there and if you weren't chosen then tough shit. Epic was bullshit and wasted their talent. Im just very glad that the 5 of them have their creative freedom now.
@@nailah5880 ACTUALLY she sang the leads because she was unable to sing in harmony with the girls. she has a jaw tension and thats why she cracks her voice and her vocal range isnt so wide as the other girls

like for example in the movie Dreamgirls Jamie foxx put Beyonce to sing the lead and then explained that it was because she was the weakest of the three
this is also the reason of why she sings ad lids
she has a almost whispering selena like voice
which sounds nice so she play it safe

Camila's vocal tone is super distinct, you either hate it or love it. For me it's very nasally and challenging to listen to for long, but over the years she has come to really master her instrument. She worked so hard to succeed, is such a killer performer, her stardom was hard earned

Camila was chosen to be the lead because she was consistent since day one. She always delivered and brought the energy. Like the other girls did have great moments but they had them in intervals. Camila was just always consistent and coming to the rescue when the others were out of breath etc.
she also had a very unique voice. It was very melodic pop and almost had like a natural autotune sound. The other girls were soulful so she stood out. she sounded like a popstar and of course we’re not going to act like her looks didn’t help her as well. Because she looked like a popstar as well.
Also you could always tell that she was very creative/artistic even before we knew that she wrote songs because she would add her own twist and style by changing melodies and keys to the audio version of songs.
Most importantly she was such a sweetheart. Beautiful inside and out. People like that will always be blessed by God

The group has said before that producers would force Camila to sing a lot because her voice was more suitable for pop sounds. They would even make some of the girls change their vocals to be more baby-like. The strain of being forced to sing lead without proper training made Camila's voice tired sounding after a while. I think she's recovered wonderfully since leaving the group though.
Camilla deserves all success of the world, because she is really talented!She was too big for FH, now she can fly!
allif rodrigues I love her, but no. She NEEDED fifth harmony at the beginning. She almost didn’t make the cut in the x factor auditions, and she was eliminated during the boot camp stage of the show. She’s super talented and deserves all her success, but she was meant to be in 5H. As were the rest of them. It made it so that they wouldn’t go through the struggles
of the industry alone, and it allowed them to grow as artists. Regardless of their friendship now, they’ll always have someone understand them completely. Aside from Normani because she had the whole systematic racism, but in terms of the industry, they all experienced the same thing. If that makes sense, but now they can all fly! I can’t see what Camila does in the future, it’s going to be AWESOME.

I don’t have any idea who fifth harmony nor Camila Cabello was not until last year LOL. Been a fan of her since then. And I think Camila going solo is a great move. She was able to showcase who she really is and she was able to compose and sing awesome songs.

Late but camilla has always been more about having that unique tone and stylistic creativity that she is loved for, than having a spectacular technical ability.
Besides her distinctive tone, I really enjoy the way she uses her voice.

Lucas Martini Nah her voice is unique and easily recognizable Nornami not so much I’ve never heard a voice like hers. It’s good to have diversity in the music community and her voice is definitely a gem. I don’t think it sounds poppy it sounds very different, just different. I can’t describe the chills she gives me, sort of like billie can’t describe the emotion she makes me feel

I love Camila's voice since the 1st time I heard her, bcus her audition were cut off her 1st performance that I watch is the judge's house where they sang Shontelle's Impossible and I remember watching her singing and thinking who is SHE!!!! Since then I'm hooked, I'm so glad she parted way with 5H bcus I know the other girls were jealous of her, say it what you want but we can all see all those side eyes, those eyes rolled to each other whenever she started singing. I'll forever stan this amazing girl with this unique voice.

She is an artist that is an example of being held back from being in a girl group
Michael Richardi As all 5 of them are. They had no creative freedom in the group. Couldn’t choose their parts, their songs, couldn’t write, etc. Dinah Jane’s music is the most consistent after Camila’s. Lauren Jauregui has 2 tracks out, and they’re BEAUTIFUL. Normani has a couple songs out and they’ve all done really well. Ally has been most consistent in terms of releasing, and she’s done well too. Camila definitely has that “pop star” persona to her so that’s why she’s the most popular. The others are more rnb, electronic, latin, reggae, etc. She’s almost all pop, and that’s what sells the most 🤷🏻♀️

She was the lead in Fifth Harmony. She got the more solos out of the girls because she has the most distinctive voice and more pop and marketable voice, although the other girls have amazing voices but they got thrown in the back pretty much. When she left Fifth Harmony, the girls did more of a r and b kind of album, and you could tell the difference. The other girls have more of a soulful r and b/hip pop kind of voice.
Regardless, I like her voice and her songs :)

Camila arguably was pushed to be the “lead” of Fifth Harmony ever since they first started out. To the point where she would be featured much more than the others on their singles. I don’t think she intentionally tried to be the leader, but she did pursue more work outside of the group and had a separate contract from the other members.
