@@alinaveed20 Yeah, she denies it because it's fake. And how is she a rip-off, exactly? Are you seeing her now? She has a completely different style, she even switched musical genres a couple of times. Yes, she admitted that she was heavily influenced by not only Madonna, but others legends such as David Bowie and Queen. I'm pretty sure it's understandable for her to look like her idols, especially at the beginning of her career, until she developed her own style.
Also, are you calling her talentless? Have you watched the video? She is considered to be one of the best vocalists we currently have in the pop industry. I'd say she's pretty talented; the 347 awards she has won in 13 years definitely confirm it.

Well I guess this is what happens when you don't pay attention to an artist. She also already had the classical aspect, the jazzy aspect to her. Many of her performances, especially her acoustic ones were very jazzy. So people who is saying she only tapped into that when she paired up with Tony Bennett, make me scratch my head. I feel like Gaga kind of followed a very similar path to what Pink did. Start out as a kind of generic counter-culture pop singer, then mature over the following years into a more diverse, unique, and rounded singer. They’re both incredible singer’s and performer’s, and their song writing has gotten much more varied, meaningful, and inspiring. I’ve been fans of both since their early career’s, but I enjoy their newer works more and more with each new album. They’re both phenomenal though.

You really need to react to Lady Gaga’s live cover of 4 non-blondes’s “Whats up”. It is truly insane and amazing, she manage to both make the song her own, AND keep in rythme and tone with what the original sounds like.
She is growling, even screaming, as I have never heard her do before. As you said in this video, you sometimes have to sacrifice technique in order to make the audience feel the intensity and sincerity of the emotion. And believe me, it may be the more raw and emotional song that I have heard performed live in a very long time, gender and genre aside.
Even if you dont react to it on your channel, I insist that you HAVE to listen to this.

Nice analysis as per usual. Would love to see you react to more dimash (confessa +diva dance, adagio, all by myself ...)

I agree about what happened when she performed with Tony Bennett. I love her even more now!

Hi Tara, Happy New Year! I was hoping that you could look at Auld Lang Syne by Home Free. There have been a few other vocal coaches to review it but none of them did the video justice and I know you can make a great video on it!

The "gimmicks" got her through the door, her talent made her a star who could try and nail any genre.

Hi Tara love the reviews! I would love to see you review a Broadway video. The one that I love and think you would too is "In a Crowd of Thousands" by Derek Klena and Christy Altomare from the musical Anastasia. I loved the movie as a kid and it's such a classic movie turned into a Broadway show. Again love the channel and Happy New Year. I really hope you see this.

It’d be cool to see a sort of vocal progression video. Reviewing singers when they first came out vs now. .. reacting to the maturation of their voices over time singing the same or similar song/note.. a Tamar Braxton reaction video would be nice as well. HNY.

After the Tony Bennett collab I was INSTANTLY a fan. I literally had to go back through all of her music to realize that she is actually truly an amazing talent. Very impressed by the new Gaga.
