Latter sucks in the short-term but it will save so much time and energy and you'll more likely notice ppl having interest in you, if they do. If you get rejected, focus on yourself, move on and don't get with someone else if you havn't managed to properly move on yet.

I think you misinterpreted him. Were there other signs that he liked you? What was he doing while u were presenting? Was he observing intently? Was his cam off? If it was the former, most likely he was just trying to learn something about the subject. If it was the latter, he must've went and did something else and just went in the meeting just for the sake of it.
I would think you were in love with him which causes you to convince yourself that he will be willing to cheat on his fiance. If you were the one on stage presenting, everybody will offer their ears to listen but not offer you romance. Anyone can be friendly to you but not ever get attracted to you romantically. I am sure only you claim he is toying with your emotions. If you don't want people to toy with your emotions, do not make it obvious you like them. He have a fiance right. So don't show signs of being obsession then he cannot toy with your emotions. It is obvious he will only treat you like a classmate. Any friendly deeds people do for you should not be mistaken as them liking you romantically.

Whilst we were in the "Get to know them better before it's official" stage, we spoke of "interests" - she pointed something out about mine, I started overthinking and then broke whatever it was we were starting because I got scared about what the thing she pointed out meant.
Folks, if you have a crush, stay strong and don't crumble like me - especially if you find out they like you too. You know you better than anyone but sometimes your brain likes to made up junk to scare you from opportunity. In my case it was a behaviour which for me was out of character at worst, mental self-slander at best.

I have this crush on this guy from my campus, but I’m so nervous to make a move. He’s not the kind of crush that avoids or ignores me, so I feel invested in him. and what i did was tell him at a good time. so obviously, if he was upset about something, i wouldn’t wanna tell him right there and then. i told him at a moment where we were sharing good laughs, and having an overall good time.
and when you confess, i would recommend not making it super long. but ofc, do whatever you feel is best. personally, i just told him a simple
“hey, i’ve liked you for a long time now. do you maybe feel the same?”
but again, if you want it to be a long confession, then you do you!

Then I have learned that he has a fiancee abroad 🙃 I don’t use social media (besides UA-cam) and have awkward relationships so I never had the opportunity to neither confirm or deny that 😅 But I remember people talking with him about his fiancee in class so I guess that’s proof enough 😅 Then the pandemic came and I had to finish the remaining one and a half year of the uni at home but something peculiar happened. One day I was going to present some stuff at our online class first thing in the morning and logged in way earlier than the most and he was there! He woke up at that crappy hour just to listen to a boring presentation by me! But then I heard he got married a year later to that fiancee?! Dude were you toying with my emotions?? Don’t be that person who thinks someone likes you just because they’re nice. He had a fiancé and obviously wasn’t interested in you that way.
I think you misinterpreted him. Were there other signs that he liked you? What was he doing while u were presenting? Was he observing intently? Was his cam off? If it was the former, most likely he was just trying to learn something about the subject. If it was the latter, he must've went and did something else and just went in the meeting just for the sake of it.
I would think you were in love with him which causes you to convince yourself that he will be willing to cheat on his fiance. If you were the one on stage presenting, everybody will offer their ears to listen but not offer you romance. Anyone can be friendly to you but not ever get attracted to you romantically. I am sure only you claim he is toying with your emotions. If you don't want people to toy with your emotions, do not make it obvious you like them. He have a fiance right. So don't show signs of being obsession then he cannot toy with your emotions. It is obvious he will only treat you like a classmate. Any friendly deeds people do for you should not be mistaken as them liking you romantically.

Nah, I swear to god that there was this girl that I liked, primary school crush. I thought she was WAAAAY out of my league. But then I overheard some girl list, thing they were doing and my crush said that I was the cutest boy in my class. I was still to scared to do anything. I once made a rather long eye contact with my crush. He asked a question about our group project (we’re group mates) and I looked at him in the eyes, wanting to answer him. He also looked at me, then we looked at each other for like 3 seconds. During the eye contact, he blinked a few times and looked quite nervous. Idk why he wasn’t looking away. Then finally I looked away to break the contact. I was so confused, does his reaction during our eye contact mean anything? Or am I overthinking?
