This looks incredibly fun to do. I'm also an owner of a 3v, and I've been thinking of taking it to an affordable track event after i put in Hawk HPS 5.0 brake pads
@@NikRomanoRacing Ah, that's fair. But I'm comparing primarily to autocross, where seat time is limited anyway - this seems like a nice alternative. Time between runs, and direct comparison to a competitor (who you can hopefully trust not to run into you)... I'd love to give this a shot. Racing is too expensive, so I've been looking for alternatives :).
@@NikRomanoRacing Can you give some idea what you’ve done to prep it for the track? Don’t have to be super specific but I’m just really curious how cheap I could do this myself.
@@kondor99999 Well my first suggestion has to be to watch thr Sub2 or Bust series I have on here 😁 All the deets are tbere. But basically, it's wheels/tires, brake pads/fluid, very basic suspension like springs, shocks, bars, and full send.
@@kondor99999 All good! It's a long watch, but it's all in there. If you're going for the absolute cheapest path to track an S197, I'd just do the brakes, the radiator, and some kind of seat. The stockies are SO bad.
@@RubberChickenMan007 Ah, BD 🙂 Still the only F car to attend a class. I know you were interested in Full Track as well, shoot me an email when you're ready to start looking into what to do next!
Just bought my own 3V and I am super excited to see one running at a track that has a turn in it, let alone an entire touge course!
It really doesn't take much to make them work well! Have you watched my build series for the car?
@@NikRomanoRacing Found this one on lunch break and watched the first episode of the build yesterday. Going to be following closely starting now!
@@hotpinkfryingpan Rad, hope you enjoy it and get some ideas for yours!

Literally nobody knows.
Awesome edit! What fun to relive the journey through your lens.
Glad you liked it Morgan! I really enjoyed "writing" the story in my head as the day progressed, and I'm proud of how it came together.

Do it! It doesn't take much to make it track-ready.
Very well put together video Nik, I would love to see similar videos in this style!
you're honestly my favorite youtuber, u deserve so many more views and subs
Thanks man! Wish I had more time to devote to it, for now it's just an occasional hobby. Glad you like my videos!
Nik you're the man!!
This actually looks like a lot of fun...
It actually was! Unless you get knocked out right away, in which case you're done as soon as the competition rounds start.

@@teddyframhein Definitely give this a try, it was worth it!
Awesome video!
Impressive pace from an 07 Mustang. I think that’s down to the driver ;)
Thanks man! The car isn't bad either, but it's definitely track/gearing dependent. These hairpins were rough with a 3.55 rear end.
