-Mr. Alpha, sir. You wanna go badly, then pick up and go! This world - it belongs to us! -Regrettable, Matthew. I'd hoped that we could celebrate the day of departure together. But very well… It seems that I must forsake you. The olden ones, olden life… Your olden notions!
@@SeriousStrikerI love Xenoblade as much as the next gal, especially 3 and Future Redeemed, but man As much as Alpha's final form is a neat callback to Deus the design is not even close to as good as his at depicting a literal god machine Deus's is just so unique, and the buildup to it is so good it makes the payoff all the more effective The only setback for Deus is being in a PSX game with low-poly models, and even then he's got the combat VFX and powerful OST(much like Alpha) to set the scene for him.
I'd just like to point out... This battle not only had all three cores of the Trinity Processor involved (most likely), but it also had all three games' protagonists (kinda) AND their descendants. Shulk -> Nikol Rex -> Glimmer (and Matthew and Na'el if you want to count them) N/oah -> Matthew and Na'el
0:14 gets me every time It feels like a band doing a slow start from like 0:00 to 0:13 and the vocalist just says hit it on 0:14 and the best part just starts
If ever Square decides to remake Xenogears, they need to bring Kiyota in to arrange some tracks. This is awe-inspiring; can't get enough of 1:24 - 2:06 in particular.
@@kieranray5340Fangs Bared at God and The Beginning and the End... those two could get SO much out of a rearrangement done right Awakening I'm not entirely sure about; I think I'd prefer an arrangement that doesn't mess with the established vocals too much They're just so perfectly shallow and lifeless yet mournful and ominous in the original, it's like voices of those sacrificed are calling out to you from Deus itself, as if begging you to finish what they started. But they're not "them" anymore, they're just Deus speaking in their voice. I'd really like them redone right; the Anniversary Concert version just won't scratch the same itch for me.
@@JadieMae23that's interesting. I wouldn't touch Beginning and the End, because that's already a live recording and it's magical. Always interesting seeing how opinions on music differ.
"Well A, I guess we can truly call this the Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed."
"Shut up Matthew."
Phenomenal...
Matthew and A would say this
Alpha: WHY DID YOU REDEEM IT?
DO NOT REDEEM DE FUTURE! NOOOOOO
Matthew: yes I'm redeeming the future!
"All is for the Future Redeemed"
-Melia Antiqua
God tier reference
Beat dropped harder than my HP after Alpha pulled out that AoE Monado attack

The fact that N himself is the one who triggered the complete ouroboros transformation is poetry
i loved how the electric guitar was mostly subdued for the main game, but having it kick in as alpha changed phases felt so xeno

omg YES imagine awakening and one who bares fangs at god with Kiyota's vocal writing
