I've never played Xenoblade X, but i gave a try to the OST few weeks ago, and this theme hit me like a truck, it has this feeling of epicness that i've already heard somewhere, then i realized that the composer is Hiroyuki Sawano, the one who made some Shingeki no Kyojin OST, paticularly the title "YouSeeBIGGIRL/T:T". At this moment, everything became clear to me, this composer is a genius
Apparently there is something called the Sawamo dropp. I discovered her yesterday. Uematsu has a rival. The Octopath OST is something else. Dark Souls.... And Hoyoverse has no excuse to be that good. Fans say they drop a new album whenever a new game comes out. Please watch the departure destival. Honkai Star Rail is a masterpiece. I wont even start about Anime. That is crazy.
Suggestions? Mine are Red Bluff from Octopath Traveller 1. Fons Myma Night from Xenoblade 2. Dark Souls 3 Main Theme. Partitio the merchant from Octopath 2.
Theme X is legitimately the reason I started composing music. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 8 and this game came out when I was 22. Eight years later, it’s still the gold standard that I compare most instrumental music to. Very few songs have this much depth to them while also being generally simple and easy to listen to.

I bought this day 1, but haven’t gotten around to playing it till spring of 2022. Such an amazing game worth playing. Glad I was able to get to it in my backlog but if I knew how good the game was I would have played it day 1 when I got it.
To the newcomers: get ready for two games in one. The story is about a woman named Elma and her fight against the Ganglion. It's a cinematic epic with grand mech battles, betrayal, death, plot twists, and long CGI cutscenes. The other **NINETY-NINE PERCENT** of the game is about you, told by you. It's about your exploration of Mira and the role it plays in the reconstruction and repopulation of NLA. At times you choose who goes to the city and who doesn't, who befriends who, even who lives or dies. As you make these choices, the faces you see in the city increase and change. This is a story with no script, no narrator, and no ending at all. There's a reason fans of this game poured thousands of hours into it and call it one of the best ever. It feels less like a game and more like forging a legacy in another world.
Pretty damn spot-on explanation. The feeling X gave me my first time through was a hell of a strong one, seeing NLA get more populated, more advanced as I worked on exploring Mira. Seeing the affinity page expand as I worked through side quests, saw how the different races and people came together to make NLA home. No matter how great the rest of the Xeno series is, Gears and Saga included, I don't think the feeling X gives will be topped. It is my favorite Xeno game by far.

I woke up and checked twitter only to get hit with my favorite game of all time getting the love it so sorely needs...don't think i've actually cried tears of joy at a game announcement until now. The game releases a day before my birthday, i guess i gotta keep living to see it
I do have to say, even replaying the game and re-watching this cut-scenes, I do get some chills from the mix of music, the visuals, and even the dialogue.

Since Takahashi has finished the Klauss' Saga, I'm praying he'll return to Xeno X and continue the Story. Xeno X needs a continuation! I need to see more conections to Xenoblade Trilogy, Xenosaga and Xenogears!

I always loved the Xenoblade X OST but how the fuck have I never realized that this soundtrack was composed by the legend Hiroyuki Sawano?! Now that I know it, I clearly can hear his particular style of music and only because of the fact that he also did the music for AoT.

Man, seeing one of my favorite games of all time get its HD announcement on my birthday is one of the best things I could’ve hoped for. I’ll catch the rest of you all on Mira
I woke up and checked twitter only to get hit with my favorite game of all time getting the love it so sorely needs...don't think i've actually cried tears of joy at a game announcement until now. The game releases a day before my birthday, i guess i gotta keep living to see it

I've played all Xeno games - except this one. WHY HAVENT I HEARD THIS TRACK BEFORE?! BEAUTIFUL!
I do have to say, even replaying the game and re-watching this cut-scenes, I do get some chills from the mix of music, the visuals, and even the dialogue.
