I forgot this actually first plays when Mechafriend gets crushed and upon playing it after knowing the more famous context of this song (being the opening to chapter 6) I was laughing so hard that that's when it first plays.

As much as this song is cool... It gives me PTSD because the chord progression reminds me of that one song from the School Days anime... IYKYK

For most overworld music in the series, I feel like both the day and night versions both work very well individually, but this is one of those few tracks where both the day and night theme work together to tell a musical story. Absolutely beautiful. And boomers say video game music isn't real music.

And people say this game has forgettable overworld music. SMH.

That transition from Crys to Noah may be one of the best moments in the entire series. The way the music swells in tandem with Noah growing up, coming into his own as his own leitmotif becomes more prominent in the music never ceases to give me chills, and is especially emotional upon repeat playthrough knowing his past with Crys.

But if I ever lose someone in an untimely way like this, I have to imagine what question would go through my head: “If I cry hard enough, could the universe change its mind?” Even though I know the answer. This one made me cry in the city scene where they learn about "motherhood" and see a baby for the first time. I'm not an easy cryer, but how they made this scene feels so real and this soundtrack just destroys you. I love this game

Millick meadows is good. I love it to death, and I think its highly underrated... However, Centi omnia region day is just different. If I had 9 lives, I would love it to death all 9 times. And I think we can all agree its one of the single best themes in the entire series.

0:14 gets me every time It feels like a band doing a slow start from like 0:00 to 0:13 and the vocalist just says hit it on 0:14 and the best part just starts

This is my favorite song in the OST, and the scene it first plays is my favorite in the series. It's a shame the game peaked there and everything after felt flat, but it's understandable it couldn't be topped. Mechafriend's sacrifice is the greatest moment in Xenoblade history

Easily the most underrated track in the trilogy for me

1:46 right after the crescendo here you can hear as the pianist slowly eases off the pedal. In the portion following this you can actually hear the pedaling. It’s barely audible, but it really shows the care that went into this recording, the subtle touches of the performers, and the audio quality of this upload.

Hot take, I love the Mobius theme, and I love the Off-Seer themes, but combining the to makes my ears hurt. Too high pitched and loud.
