The people running the show are very biased and like to pander to their friends in the industry. They will only let a Japanese game win if they are friends with the developer or if the game was such a massive hit that it’s unfathomable that it doesn’t win something like Eldin Ring. I think God of War won pretty much every other category due to the awards being friends with someone on the team and couldn’t give them goty due to Eldin Ring popularity

MonolithSoft keeps nailing it with the music. It's unbelievably great and so energetic. I am so glad that the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise has garnered so many new fans and everyone has been streaming and loving the games and hearing the raw emotional impacts the games had on them. Amazing story-driven experiences. To anyone that still has not played the series, please do. If you want to understand the gameplay/battle system so you don't get confused (like some do), go watch the Xenoblade Directs and overview trailers that explains the battle system bit by it. Definitely buy Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and the expansion pass if you haven't yet.

I love how you get the best of both worlds with this battle music cause you get a mixture of Xenoblade 1 and 2 and Tornas battle melodies mixed with a hint of Xenoblade 3 music within this battle music and honestly as someone whos been a fan of this series for many years and the many hours i put in towards these games come together just puts a warm smile to my face
Besides it also being jazz, there’s parts of the song that actually have motifs from the Torna battle theme (0:08 - 0:13 in the background is the same as a section near the beginning of Torna’s battle theme

Fantastic battle theme. I like it a lot more than Keves battle and any other regular battle track in Xenoblade 3. I hope we get more themes that reference characters like Nia's Kaleidoscope core and Melia's Brilliant Wings.

Most games are Japanese created. The judges just have narrow preferences. Sonic Frontiers was not even nominated.
