Hello I am French and I am everything you do is great and ingenious and it must be a daily job. I am 14 years old and I want to become a dairy breeder currently I work on a farm of 280 dairy cows to help the farmer and his employees. continue like that . It is a pleasure to watch your videos! see you later 😃 ( google translate because my english is so bad 😟 )
I’m a city boy but I must tell you I am truly impressed with your operation, I never realized the amount of work that it takes so I can have my milk and Oreo’s
Love your videos! Your farm has to be the cleanest and most efficiently run dairy farm out there. If I were a dairy cow, this is where I'd want to live. Keep up the great work.
It is so reassuring to see how clean you keep all the areas. The drone adds a new level of viewing how the farm is setup. After the videos I have the feeling that I was actually there and that is a very good feeling. All the best to you and yours, stay safe and stay healthy.
This young man is the epitome of honest hard work. The amount of work required for me to enjoy a glass of cold milk with my Oreo cookies is remarkable. . Thank you very much..,
I came across your channel as a result of watching the hoof doctor. Since then I think I've watched every video you have uploaded. I rarely comment on channels that I have subscribed to but I just had to say how impressive your uploads are. If I didn't know better I would have sworn that they were professionally made. How you find the time beats me. I had no idea how much work was involved with dairy farming. To be honest I am amazed that anyone would want to do it. Long hours, freezing temperatures (in your case) and loads of crap! You have my admiration and respect. All the best and thanks for something that is interesting and informative.
I really enjoy your videos. You're definitely in my top 3 favorite UA-camrs! Your videos are informative and you manage to make the most beautiful drone footage. I look forward to your videos every week! Thanks for sharing your life with us!
I am so impressed with the way you keep your barn as clean as you can get it. Unreal the amount of time you have to spend doing all that. Very impressive layout of your Farm. You do a great job filming your daily chores, and love the drone shots. makes good extra footage. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
Beautiful, cold , drone coverage. Thank you for taking the time to show us how much cleanup there is at the end of each milking. Stay save and I sure hope you don’t have to dump any milk.
thankyou for all the hard work showing us your farm i enjoy what you do i was helping my Uncle milking cows in the summer a couple times back in the 60 s i was a city kid at the time
Can’t help but feel that’s an extreme amount of water to go through multiple times a day on top of what the cows drink but I also have always admired the cleanliness of your dairy. Great job.
My little farm is on the west coast where we have plenty of rain late fall till spring, and lots of water in our well until May or June. Then it's loading the 425 gallon tank onto my truck and going to get water from the muni supply. Takes 1/2 an hour per load, there and back. Sometimes I have to get 5 loads if I wasn't able to get water for a couple of days. I'd love to be able to wash the manure away like in this video, but for me it's a wheelbarrow, pitch fork and shovel.
@@ontheridge2019 we have a car wash business that cleans the water and reuses it over and over again. Could you do that at least for cleaning. Using power washers would allow a more efficient water use. Are there any farmer or government grants available to cut your cost. I know UV lights kill bacteria, virus and molds. You are using 2,000 gallons daily. Even if it isn’t used as drinking water, it could make clean up more efficient. That savings time might be able to help you think of a process to help with water savings for drinking water. There is a company the grows fodder for cow, horse, etc, their system reuses the water by using UV lights and other processes. So I know it’s used in the industry. Just random thoughts, how it could help you is up to you, beyond my old brain.
Your videos are very interesting and educational. I truly enjoy seeing the difference between the 26 head we handled completely by hand back in the 50's. Your operation raises so many questions such as your water supply. Watching just the flushes, your supply must be enormous and at the very low temperatures, such as 27 below, where does the water go so as not to creat a freezing problem somewhere?
I rarely comment on people's choice of music OR drone footage, but you did a great job combining those. Made me want to move to the tropics, though. Stay safe.
An amazing amount of thought went into designing your parlor. Would be hard to do w/o such an abundance of H2O. At least your sandy soil helps the septic drain, I imagine. Blessings!
24/7/365 got to hand it to guys. They say Healthcare workers are awesome I say as a Healthcare worker you guys are the bomb. Love watching, you are what makes things possible.
I'm really glad that you showed the cleaning. I wondered how you kept the parlor so clean. Please be safe out there. I'm on Cape Cod and we're expecting things to get bad here this week.
Always enjoy your video's my friend, you make some of the most mundane chores look interesting. Spring has sprung here in Ontario, no tractors in the fields yet, but disking and planting will start soon. - Dave
Great video once again! I'm from Belgium and we also run a dairy farm, we milk ~100 cows now. I'm really impressed how clean, big and advanced your farm is! Keep up the nice videos! I really enjoy them :)
Wow, it was so sunny here in Vancouver in April. I know it's colder in other parts, but seeing the snow really drives it home. I'm a city kid and am finding dairy farming fascinating these days and I am also realizing how curious and cute cows are too. (Watching a lot of Tom Pemberton Farms videos too). Thanks for this video. It's very satisfying to see everything so clean. I'll look for more of your videos to see your cows too.
I always enjoy your tours of the farm. Such great ingenuity in design!! I've seen bits of your parlour cleaning in past videos. But wow. . that gives new meaning to "flush the toilet"! :) I'm amused 'cause I thought I coined the term "outro". I have used it with my church music teams for years. And I used it while scripting my own video last week. Hmmm. . .I must have picked it up from a conference somewhere. Every new video is a treat. Thank you for including us a part of your hard work
That is the nicest milk barn I have ever seen. I would have built it further south though. Holy cow you have tough winters up there, and I'm from Minnesota!
Just watched every one of your videos today! Seriously excellent, all of it. You should be a cinematographer. You’re so freakin smart you could be whatever you wanted!! You are just an incredible kid. They don’t make very many young people like anymore. My absolute favorite parts of these videos are when you say Manure. Kills me every time!! Keep the videos coming😊😊
you should not stack insulation against electrical cabinets. in case of electricity failure in the cabinet and heat exchange, the risk of fire is very large / electrician :)
Hey Sasdutchkid you guys can look into adding a biogas plant in your farm. There is a huge potential to generate power from all the manure that your cows produce. You would still get the fertilizer for your fields also.
Looks alot nicer than the carousel I worked on. We got crapped on constantly on that one. And kicked, and crapped on. And did I mention crapped on? Our wash down system wasnt nearly as good either. In the winter time the collection drains would freeze up so youd have to jump down into chest deep crap water to break it up. They did use it all to irrigate and fertilize the fields nearby for the alfalfa and corn though.
You need to change the order in which certain things are done. The gutter above the milkers should be the first thing cleaned, it is the highest surface (and the wall above it was not shown to be cleaned in this video!), it makes no sense to clean the floors first and then come back and spray the gutters and contaminate the floors again! Aside from this (and I hope you agree with my logic on the sequencing of your cleaning routine), you have a wonderful setup and have a commitment to the animals best welfare! Good job, thank you for all the hard work it takes to be a dairy farmer.
