Phenomenal presentation. I have watched your videos 3-4 times per week for the last year or so. The aerials show what an awesome farming operation your family runs. You are a class act.
Really nice operation you’ve got there! Didn’t realize the full scale of it. Obviously well thought out. Can see why you’re so busy! Thanks for the tour.
All I need now, is a Pillow, Sheet and Blanket and a Coffee Mug and I would feel like I lived there for a very long time. You folks work very clean and orderly and as I travel with you on the "Tour" I can feel the "Pride" of the Family Farm. You never disappoint ! I am sure that you are the envy of many other farms. On another thought, I am sure that your Sister is a much faster milker than you, no doubt she is far better looking and I would bet she drives a nicer vehicle than you do....LOL J/K. Your parents must be very proud of their Efforts and Children. God Bless...Bulldog
Great way to start a Sunday morning with a virtual farm tour. Not a single derelict building on your whole farm which is almost unheard of. I have a friend here who unbeknownst to him had two bins of damp fertilizer delivered in the winter. By spring when he went to use it is had solidified in the bins that were two years old. They had to go in with jackhammers to remove it and in the process damaged the inner coatings of the bins. The bins were declared a right off. Not something anyone needs to happen. Your farm is a class act all the way and your videos are some of the best out there. Still crossing my fingers for some sunny weather to dry things up a bit.
Really like watching your life as you go. WHAT a facility you folks have there. When you flashed the picture of the 575 it brought back memories working with my dad on his small farm. Can't get enough of your GREAT vlogging. Thanks for letting us tag along.
I am absolutely amazed at all the work that goes into making the cows comfortable and keeping our food safe! Thank you so much for sharing, I am learning so much!
Hey Jan , Great tour of your place I appreciate how cold you get it in the Winter and can see now why your buildings give you good cover 750 head , never a dull moment . Yes these aged steers look a bit naughty. You don't have your own bulls so everything is AI for the heifers/cows. take care . I am from Scotland UK but have folks not far from you in BC.
Wow Jan great tour of a beautiful and clean farming operation. While watching this I was thinking about how much endless work there is on a large dairy farm, our family had a massive herd of 20 dairy cows. How many calves are born every year? Typically how long do your cows keep producing? It must cost a fortune to heat all the buildings in winter. You are an amazing young man and I wish you all the best. Cole the cornstar has it easy as the crops do not need daily feeding and they don't poop :)
Thanks for the great tour of the farm Jan!! Very well thought out and planned build for that farm!! Yes please get a video of the steers loading to be shipped! Do you have your scales to weigh them before you ship? You seen a wasp just as you opened that gate to the crowd tub at the end didn't ya!🤣 Keep up the awesome work!! ✅
One amazing video from beginning to end. I can see the Dutch character in having everything clean, neat and in order here. Thank you, Jan. You are an artist at well, making and editing really good vlogs.
Wonderful video! What a beautiful clean farm! I want to live there but to cold for me! Lol. Just need to say your parents must be very proud of you and your siblings. Have you taken any kind of video or filming classes because you are incredible! Love the drone footage! Watching from northern Virginia USA!
Thank You for the tour of the farm, you should be very proud of that beutiful farm. Look forward to watching more of your videos. Please Take Care of your self Plus Be Very Care Full around all Farm Equipment.
Jan another excellent video, thank you for everything that goes into entertaining and educating us. Here in 🇿🇦 15 degrees C is pretty cool and you’re walking around in a T-shirt and the cows are comfortable. I suppose it’s relative for you to your colder winter temperatures. I often also wonder about the constant noise of the fans, but again you and your “ladies” are all used to it. Peace Jan.
Thank you Jan for the tour of the farm. All of that equipment is amazing! I still wonder about the stand of trees at the front entrance to the farm. The organization of them suggest they might be pines for Christmas, or perhaps a small fruit orchard?? You always do a great job.
I’m curious, what is your procedure for any cattle that pass away on the farm? How often does it happen? You should do a video on that. Great channel by the way
@@jackleigh4613 I think that is really nice. Really a good thing. Is there anything on youtube about that? I know some people who really want to do something like that for their dairy farm
Awesome setup of a dairy. I would die for to have your calf barns as when I was raising calves it was all outside and had -20 to -30 degrees below zero for a straight month or more. When the temperature got up in the 30's it seemed like it was shorts weather lol. I love the overhangs on the parlor with those trees varnished or stained. I would love to see you shipping out steers on a semi.
Yan, thanks for the tour - you never mentioned about all those trees at the entry. Anyway, looks like alls you need is a diving board on that big pool at the end out the tour, for those hot days.....
Your family has done an amazing job with the farm. Do your parents have a goal in mind? Will they eventually build another barn and keep on growing? I think interviewing them with these questions would be great to watch. Thank you Em-
How are you liking the sand for bedding? Would you do it again if you could change it? What's your plan of attack of the fun job of removing all the sand out of the manure pit?
Amazing farm! Really amazing it's in Canada! I mean because of the weather. You have to play all the cards right and be lucky to get crops out and harvested for all those cows.
just started watching your videos and I have been a few a day for a few days now. Very informative and interesting. Your knowledge of anything and everything on that farm is pretty damned impressive. Ever plan to show videos of you while not working? Hanging with friends, with your family, having fun, etc.?
I don’t think I have ever seen you chewing on gezouten zoethout. We have a nice Dutch store here in our town and when we go about every other month we go little crazy on cheese, almond cookies, zoute drops and can’t forget the speculaas cookies. I also make Advocaat couple times a year my father-in-law said it was the best he ever had. Love your farm you guys should be very very proud you have one of the nicest farms going.
Nice , have question , why didn’t you invest in a sand and manure separator so u can recycle sand for beds and manure u can use for fields and the water left behind recycled back for cleaning the barn cow standing areas ?
Great video. Beautiful Dairy set up. I appreciate the videos you make & thank you for sharing your family's operation with us. Question does the family live on the Dairy?
Hi Jan, great video as usual. One question and a comment. You said your parents bought the farm - so did you purchase it from The Netherlands? And my comment us your manure lagoon. In Ireland it would be a huge health and safety issue not to have it fenced off and secured particularly when it's so deep. Thanks again for a great farm tour and congrats on hitting 100k subscribers
It looks like you have put a lot of thought into the design of the farm to make it as efficient as possible and also function well in the colder climate of Canada. Did you design it yourself, higher a farm architect? We have seen your mom in a few videos and glimpses of your dad. It would be really cool if you could persuade them to do a Q and A and provide a bit of insight into the design process and the plans that you may have developed over time since you bought the farm. Thanks for opening up your farm to us!
Man Jan really nice setup you guys have there. I can't help to think that with dairy being one of the more strugling farming practises setups like these are hard to afford. Hopefully farmers in Canada are looked after better than in these parts. All the best to you and your family
Well planned layout of your facilities should have a roof over the squeeze chute area probably would make it more comfortable to work cattle eon inclement weather
The tour was great and interesting. You have a top shelf operation. Really enjoyed it and thank you for taking the time to make this video for us to share with you.
Jan, great video. Do you have any plans to build a “roof” of some sort to cover the feed bunk in the corrals. If you have heavy winds with the rain it might be a moot point. Stay safe and thank you for sharing your daily rounds with us.
A Video on your family's history and how you and your parents got into farming would be really cool, Great Video Once Again Jan!
Your a true Canadian when you can talk gallons and liters, acres, meters and feet all in the same sentence 👍
LOL
We can do the same in Ireland, but it's imperial gallons not American.
Lol
Thanks for the tour. The aerial footage helped with orientation. Love the channel, thanks for sharing.
Love watching a fellow Canadian doing such amazing work! Your farm is so impressive. Thanks for feeding us all.

Thank you very much for the support! I really appreciate it Paul!
Really nice operation you’ve got there! Didn’t realize the full scale of it. Obviously well thought out. Can see why you’re so busy! Thanks for the tour.
The layout of all the buildings sure helps with the efficiency of the operation. Thanks for such a well organized & well presented tour

Really sweet tour! By a wide margin the cleanest farm I've come across so far. Keep up the great work!

amazing growth in such a relatively short period , your family should be very proud.
Thanks, Jan. You're the perfect host and tour guide.
Jan, how long has your family been in Canada and owned the farm?

You really told that Spider! Lolololol! It was huge! Cracked me up!

Thanks!
Quite an operation! Nice tour! Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous farm! Great videos! Congrats!
Amazing tour Jan, thanks for taking the time to video and tour the farm . Always inspirational watching all your videos thanks again
The slight up and down motion @ 6:05 almost made it feel like a video game.
Your farm is huge. You do a great job on your videos. I really enjoy them

Awesome calf barn facility.
Great Tour Jan. Really nice drone footage. You make everything so interesting! Thank you.
Get some rails up round that pit my friend, had 2 young guys in my town fall into something like that and there no longer with us ! Luv your videos
I'm sure you and the folks are pleased to have a computer to manage who is what and where! Great vid as always! Thanks!

Great video. It helped explain how the various parts of the farm work. That is much appreciated.
Wow, what a farm and operation. No wonder your always busy. Congrats it’s takes hard work to make a farm this big run smoothly. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Jan for the tour of the farm. All of that equipment is amazing! I still wonder about the stand of trees at the front entrance to the farm. The organization of them suggest they might be pines for Christmas, or perhaps a small fruit orchard?? You always do a great job.
Thanks for the tour, Jan.I can't believe how many grain bins you have. Stay safe.
Great video. Thank you for putting this together.
Thank you for the tour, you have a lovely farm 🇬🇧
I love you using a drone it gives everyone a better idea of what your place looks like!
Thanks!
I’m curious, what is your procedure for any cattle that pass away on the farm? How often does it happen? You should do a video on that. Great channel by the way
In my area in Australia they processed in a knackery meat for pets hide tail hair bones every thing is used for something.
@@felixjames5732 LOL yep thats how we do it around here 😉😉
Jack Leigh in New Zealand now we have to pay to get them taken away because the hide isn’t worth enough any more to cover transport cost
@@jackleigh4613 I think that is really nice. Really a good thing. Is there anything on youtube about that? I know some people who really want to do something like that for their dairy farm
They get Cremated and made into Vegan fertilizer.

Hey Jan, thanks for the tour. Maybe you can do a more in-depth tour or bonus features on your patron page, if you have one. 💰
Your farm is so well designed and technology seems great. Great tour! Thanks.

Very Nice farm. Love the layout and the design off the barns.
Great video and what a beautiful farm and very clean...You take really good care of all the cows they all look amazing. Love your channel.
Great tour Dutch! If you ever have the hoof trimmer out you'll have to do a video of that? Thank you so much for sharing! Stay safe and healthy :-)
Love the outside corral set up. Efficient as all get out.
Wow. Very nice farm. Well thought out!
Thanks for the tour!! How do you have time to breathe??? Have a great week! Peace from SW Florida 🤗!!¡!

hi Jan,thanks for showing a round the farm, most amazing.
What is the next renovation your farm plans to do?
you should take a picture of your entire farm yard with your drone and label what each shed is and silage pits ect.

All the cows look comfortable in there pens..here in California they look all stressed out packed together in muddy corals
@saskdutchkid, do any of the cows freak out when locked in the head lockers?
