Then you get some brown sugar, butter, salt and pepper, and you’ve got the best snack ever. 😋

I just tried cooking butternut squash for the first time last night, just as an experiment. Never had it before. I roasted the seeds like pumpkin seeds, used a chip slicer to slice it into thin pieces to layer on a pan. I oiled the pan and added salt, then layed down the first layer, added honey, cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Then the next layer except didn’t add any salt or honey until the top layer. It was delicious and I'm definitely using it again. Figuring out how to cut it was a challenge though

I keep the ends on then put a little butter on it and in the dips. Then add brown sugar salt when done 😍

I feel so bad for whoever cuts up raw butternut squashes into cubes to sell in the grocery unless it’s a machine. In that case I need that machine.

It's people. With good knives and strong arms it isn't that bad. If it is a machine I've never seen them.

@@HumBugBearI wouldn’t say strong arms.. it’s just your average people who were unlucky without degree and who are trying to make an honest living.

Just another tip, I don’t see any reason to trim the edges either. I’m actually doing this right now. Thank you for your video.

Thank you for this. It’s unbelievable how many UA-camrs fail to make this simple snack. Try looking it up. It’s upsetting.

This is NOT h to e safest way. Cut top off and bottom off. Stand the squash tall. Put knife in squash. Keep palm on top of blade and work your way down. Never keep your fingers near the blade
