100% agree with the comments both ways on pedal bob. It was one of the only things I was concerned about going up to a "super enduro" bike; that it would make climbing trails a chore, but I have been extremely happy with my Jab's behaviour. I think that yes if you are up out of the saddle ploughing away in a sprint then you are going to notice some bob, but with dropper posts (still getting used to having mine even after 12 months) and normal trail riding I rarely notice much bob and if I do and I know I'll be spinning away for a while there is always the little switch.
The more power that you put in to pedaling the more you are penalized. If you just climb at a sedate pace then you can live with it, but if you are used to putting the power down when climbing even when seated these bikes a tank to pedal.
Great video, nice to hear from someone that rides and e-bike as well as normal bike, goes to show that we can always do both, no need to separate e-bike riders from the rest. Just not sure about the Peroni... should be drinking a Coopers... lol
👍 totally agree with you ! no need to seperate the ebikes to normal bikes. yes it is a different experience but who cares just get people out riding there bikes 😛👍
Sam, have just discovered your channel this morning over here in the UK. I have a Specialized Levo Ebike and an Orbea Rallon enduro bike. Superb vid and have subscribed Mate.
I rode a Megatower today and I have to say that this bike isn't for eveyone in my opinion.. Potential buyers should really know what their riding style is and be honest about it, because if you don't have the skills to actively ride a bike you become a passenger on the mega in no time.. Other info: I am 1,87m and rode a size Large today.. i would definitely size up, maybe because I am used to my XL Bronson so much
Mate I totally agree with you, these bikes are capable if your not really pushing them they can be boring and too easy to ride. Thanks for watching and your input.
The other thing that people need to be honest about is their fitness level. If you are not doing shuttles these things are a bit of a tank to pedal around. Those that do not have the fitness level to cope with this will arrive at the top of the hill too tired to really get the most out of the bike on the downhill. Where I live you see a lot of these bike for sale that do not have many miles on them probably for this reason.
Honestly I rode the nomad, Bronson, hightower, had the 18 hightower and have a 19 5010. I went with the megatower and currently building it bc it actually felt decent for a 160 bike. Maybe it was all in my head. But the new hightower actually felt slower than the mega. The Bronson was good but I like the 29 and if need extra travel I'll have it. I can just add some more air to the fork and shock to make it more poppy. If need be.
A up Sam .....Gotta say mate love your vids ...one of the best reviewers out there in my opinion ....you say it how it is with no bull shit ...👍🇬🇧😷
Thanks champ that means a lot! Check the video tonight some fresh rubber give away!!!

Sam’s Bikes Cheers Guys, great to hear riders height and bike size in your bike checks! 👍
Yep I find that information super important. Seeing size is the major concern
I was debating between the mega tower and the bronson. I test rode both of them the bronson feel so much more playful than the mega
thanks for the input mate...

Crazy how well the mega climbs .... only struggles with tight switch backs being a long 29er 👍
