      The past few years Transition appears to have been pulling the geometry innovation cart. Since their spire is now 62.5 - 63... Yeah we'll probably be headed that way for enduro bikes.

    • @dizzlef3760
      @dizzlef3760 2 роки тому

      It'll likely be slacker than that. They know where they want to get with head angles, however to make the most money they'll release a new model every few years to keep up with other brands. The 62 degree realm of hta seems like the sweet spot imo.

    Thanks for the detailed video! Which build was he on? C GX AXS Reserve? Curious to see if they followed the Oxblood Nomad C and CC paint difference. Your build looks like you can still see the carbon layup underneath the paint.

    • @lexusstefan927

      Seen some photos on Instagram and i think you are correct about the paint. Only if the Nomad had a better version than brown

      @@lexusstefan927 This is definitely a C GX AXS Reserve build in the video and it looks to still have the nice paint job, but could just be the studio lighting. SC told me "the paint does indeed change from the C to the CC frame options" so who knows haha.

      @@lexusstefan927 saw both colors in person at work today. Got to check out both CCs in the sun and the blue and green colorway is so dark that you can't really tell that much that the frame isn't a solid color. The green Santa Cruz logo, on the other hand, definitely changes color in the light. Great looking bike! Can't wait for mine to show

    Stop calling them acoustic bikes, you have mountain bikes and mopeds. But on the Megatower I can't wait to try one, I have the previous one but with a 180 fork a cascade link and 170 coil in the rear, so I'm curious how they will compare.

    Great bike , rides smooth ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L I added a bigger spring loaded seat to it . Takes a bit of adjusting cables to get brakes and shifting to perfect . I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing

    The compression ratio is still disappointing. Could have kept 160 travel with a 65 stroke shock 🙃 for a 2.46 : 1 ratio
