For me I used a different trick that enables it to start everytime. As soon as I get in the car, I press the start button one or two times to get the electronics to turn on. Just the 10 seconds it takes to put my seat belt on and plug in the phone and it boots up no problem. I think the issue is that it's slow to start up and if you just start your car right away and start moving before plugging in your phone then the system doesn't get booted up all the way and it locks you out
I also have a 2023 A Spec and always check for updates and there are never any. So weird. I really want OTA update so I can change the color of the ambient lighting. In Canada we only had the red, which can be harsh at nite driving.
Please do a video on how we can avoid getting our tlx stolen if you know any measures. My type S got stolen 2 weeks ago but they found it two days later in one piece no damage just the key cylinder missing.
Look for compustar aftermarket alarm & igla IGLA 231 kill switch . Igla can be programmed to the compustar key fob and u. An use the kill switch on the key fob especially turning it into a 2 in one shindig I hope this made sense
I don’t have any of these problems. I turn on the car, it links up Bluetooth but then when the infotainment finishes loading, CarPlay takes over and it works fine. I do have an aftermarket wireless CarPlay adapter though. ( Autosky ) so maybe that’s why
Get an ai box for wireless connectivity that has an adjustable startup delay. I haven’t had any issues. I also did the charger pad upgrade to an apple wireless charger.
Does the ai box allow you to use full screen CarPlay? The right part of the screen is essentially wasted for me. Also how did you do the Apple wireless charger upgrade?
This is crazy that you posted this . Ever since I got the car apple car play disconnects one in a while. Now apple car play doesn’t even work at all. My phone isn’t recognized when plugged in for apple car play. But my usb music input works
So another fix that has made it work a lot better for me was I turned off bluetooth on the car's head unit completely. I think the head unit trying to connect via bluetooth to the phone and then CarPlay was lugging the processor possibly.
I have the 22 aspec and it glitches randomly everyday. It’s so frustrating especially when I have my music loud. Almost 50k for a messed up CarPlay smh
I feel you, I do get these random high pitch tweak sounds when I play music on carplay. Not sure what that issue is from, maybe a connection issue. But try using carplay this way and lmk if it continues to happen.
Same here. My CarPlay would disconnect randomly but then connects. Not apple car play inst t recognized at all. My phone is being chargers and I can play music via usb but apple car play won’t pop up/connect at all period. And I’ve restarted my system so many times
Have you found a way to full screen the infotainment screen? I literally never use the right part of the screen so it’s just wasted.

Remove your fuel pump fuse. Use a steering wheel lock. Park next to a Mercedes.

Bruh! I thought you'll be fixing the side screen option for hide it when AA or AC is turned on
I did the same thing for Android auto. 50 dollar part from Amazon 😮 21 TLX base

I just plug it in before i drive off ( i have an android) seems to be the only thing that works for me
Hey what’s the offset on the wheels?

Good to know!
How did you do that?
@@djdeznyc settings then connections. Open Bluetooth the in the top right there’s a menu option that lets you turn it off

It worked for me. It makes no sense why but it works and that’s all that matters. 🙄
So no wireless?
Nope! You can try and lmk how it is! But the 21-23 TLX don’t come with wireless
Believe it or not but the 10th gen civics infotainment are way worse.
Why does my 2022 civic connect to Apple car play with Bluetooth and an Acura needs to plug in?? That’s crazy.
