yeah it was actually more than half. He mentioned 3 songs and 2 of them are from Galaxy 1. I would have mentioned Fluffy Bluff Galaxy and Bowsers Galaxy Generator instead.
@Miles Lodise i mean he used footage from a Mario wii hack that had the hammer suit when he was talking about the secret area music... which means he's never played Mario wii either
@@CassiusStelar No what that makes no sense. He would of played it before he literally mentioned how he keeps hearing the overworld theme from video making. Also newer super mario bros wii is a harder version of mario wii so he probably would have played the original at some point.
@@danitabori The theme that plays in bowser juniors fiery flotilla is an underrated theme that could be mentioned. that theme slaps. The staff roll also works too
@@kameksapprentice9416 I don’t think it is his official theme I don’t think he really has one because it changes every game but I’m pretty sure most people consider that his non-official theme
Okay Mario has so much banger songs that I would love to see you make a second part of this vid, or maybe a whole series talking about your fave tunes from each mainline mario game
8:36, I love what the DS version did with this room, it always felt like a "grand room" if that makes sense, it feels so claustrophobic in the original version
This song really makes me feel like I just walked out the bathroom but forgot to flush the toilet so I walked back to the toilet and flushed it while also washing my hands again.
You just CAN'T talk about Mario music whitout mentioning "The grand Final" (or In the final) from Mario & Luigi : Bowser's inside story. Literally the best final boss theme of every Mario game ever.
You could pretty much take any song from Super Mario 3D World and say it's the best. That soundtrack is without a doubt one of the best and most memorable in the franchise
My favourite tracks from 3D World are: -Maintheme -Super Bell Hill -Double Cherry Path -Captain Toad goes forth (which is later been remixed for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker)
My favorite tune in SWM was definitely the "Vanilla Dome" music. For some reason the first time I got to that area, the music, plus the overall look of the world was just super cool to me
Yes! You finally did it! Here's my list: SMB: Underwater SMB2:Character Select SMB3: Coin Heaven SML: World 4 / Chai Kingdom SMW: Overworld SML2: Athletic SM64: Dire, Dire Docks SMS: Delfino Plaza NSMB: Title SMG: Buoy Base Galaxy (underwater) NSMBWii: Airship SMG2: Title SM3DL: Title NSMB2: Castle NSMBU: Acorn Plains SM3DW: Conkdor Canyon SMR: Overworld (Coin Rush) SMO: Above the Clouds: Please make a video about the best song in every Mario Kart games and Mario Party games.
My favorite in Bowser's Fury is called, "Chasing Down Giga Bowser!" that plays when you're chasing Giga Bowser while riding Plessie. It just feels so epic and fits as the endgame boss theme.
My personal favorite is the little tune that plays when you get the Ice Flower in Super Mario Galaxy. Fun Fact: The Ice Flower and Fire Flower themes are the same notes, its just the Fire Flower is deeper.
I loved this video! Brought back so many wonderful memories. The Mario franchise sure has some catchy tunes. I would love another one of these music videos!
My personal favorite theme in 3D World is definitely the one played in Mount Must Dash, as is it a remix of SNES Mario Circuit theme, and Mario Kart is one of my favorite series of all time
16:02 Overall, my favorite in super Mario 3-D world is the snow theme I just love how upbeat it is and like how jazzy is kind of I love the part that it’s really good so that’s how it makes it on my favorite
I think of you had one more bowser's fury track it could be scamper shores. I love that one. Also I LOVE chainlink charge from 3d world. Good job though and great video!
My favourite song from Mario Galaxy is a tie between the Purple Comet theme and the Buoy Base Galaxy theme. I was surprised he didn't mention these or the incredible castle theme from New Super Mario Bros DS
It's kinda funny the two songs you mentioned as your favorite in Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Supermassive Galaxy and Bowser Jr.'s Boomsday Bunker) are both songs that were already in the first game but you didn't mention them then (Toy Time Galaxy and Bowser Jr.'s Floatilla).
It's pretty amazing that almost every mainline Mario game has a super catchy and memorable theme song (even if it's an unofficial theme song). I can hum any of them on command. I think the only exceptions are the NSMB games which pretty much had the same soundtracks if I recall, and SMG2, which had great music but I can't really think of a defining song for the game.
Space Zone 2 from Mario land 2 is among the best video game music of all time. Also the first level theme in that game is my brothers ringtone. The game is our childhood fav
I think *Space Junk Galaxy* track is easily the magnum opus of Super Mario Galaxy and possibly my favorite Nintendo soundtrack. And the Giant Bowser one from New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the most epic music I've ever heard.
While every song in Galaxy was absolutely beautiful, two of my personal favorites were the music that plays on the spaceship and when you read Rosalina's story
Gusty Garden Galaxy always reminds me of A Flock of Seagulls “Space Age Love Song” which is absolutely fits. Koji Kondo is truly the John Williams of gaming.
Mario Party and the Mario and Luigi series have some great songs as well. Maybe you should do a video for the side series, since Mario Kart has been mentioned. Although I think the Mario and Sonic games are ones whose music shines in the remixes and not the original songs...
This has been a good video so far, but I had to stop halfway through to say that it is a travesty that you got through Super Mario 64 and didn't mention "Dire Dire Docks;" which is my all time favorite Mario song.
Oh boy, this'll be a looong comment... Before I get started on my list, let me point out a few strange parts of this video: 6:45 New Bowser boss themes, *Am I a joke to you?* 8:50 So we're just going to ignore Dire Dire Docks, which so many people like it's hard to ignore 11:09 That's a very interesting opinion on favorite in the game. It's a cool melody but you'd be hard pressed to find someone else that thinks the same. But I appreciate controversial opinions! 11:53 So we're just skipping Good Egg Galaxy? 12:20 The flip is this that's not NSMBW there's no area like that and no Hammer Suit! Is that Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii? 13:24 A great theme, but it was in Galaxy 1 called "Enter Bowser Jr.!" 14:20 Another unique opinion! 14:46 "As it failed to bring anything new to the table" *shows one of the most unique levels in the game* 17:03 So we're not even going to talk about the main theme (Super Bell Hill)? Okay Okay, this is my list of favorite songs from each Super Mario game, as well as others I like. This is just my opinion which COULD be controversial so no reason to throw Bob-ombs at me! Super Mario Bros. - Definitely the Overworld/Main Theme. Still great to this day! Super Mario Bros. 2 - Overworld theme. It's quite catchy! I'd also like to mention the Character Select, as it slaps. Super Mario Bros. 3 - Overworld theme again! It's happy and catchy again. Athletic, Underground, and Boss would be next in my list. Super Mario World - Overworld yet again! They always seem to nail these. Athletic would be next, being a different arrangement of the Overworld theme and a catchy one too. Next is Castle, which has a very stressful vibe to it and I love it. Could I keep going? Sure! Boss theme is cool, and the Final Boss/Bowser Battle/Final Battle With Bowser/Whatevertheofficialnameisidontknow is cool and intimidating. Super Mario Land - Birabuto Kingdom, aka the Main Theme. Despite being only 4 bits, it's quite catchy and good, just like every other Overworld theme. And honestly, the other kingdoms' music are all good too. I'd also like to mention Tatanga's theme. The looping part isn't that great, but the intro is really cool and sets the mood! Super Mario Land 2 - Definitely the "Athletic Theme" which is kinda more of an Overworld theme (because it fills in for it) but it still sounds more athletic. This is a very upbeat and happy tune, and catchy as well. Wario's Castle and Star Maze are runners up for me. Super Mario 64 - My favorite is now Dire, Dire Docks. This is such a relaxing and melodic tune that I could have it stuck in my head all day and not even care. It just seems so magical. I actually like the water stages contrary to popular opinion so instead of the one saving grace of the stages I consider it to add to the feeling that these stages give you. Also, the extra instruments added depending on where you're at in the level just make this song even better. I have to wonder why it's called Dire, Dire Docks and not Jolly Roger Bay (As it was the first to feature this theme. No one calls Bob-omb Battlefield's theme "Whomp's Fortress" or "Tall Tall Mountain.") Bob-omb Battlefield is another favorite of mine. It's very catchy, upbeat, and happy, like all Overworld themes! The Slide Theme or Slider is another great one that really fits the setting. Honestly, I could keep talking about more memorable tracks from this game, but I'll just mention them: Cool Cool Mountain, Inside the Castle Walls, Bowser Battle, Bowser in the Dark World, Final Bowser Battle, Hazy Maze Cave, and Credits. Super Mario Sunshine - I haven't really listened to the soundtrack for this game (and have only played a bit of it) so right now it's Delfino Plaza. The Secret Level theme is good too. New Super Mario Bros. - Castle theme. It's quite menacing and just cool-sounding. Overworld comes a close second. Say it with me: it's catchy, happy, and upbeat, like all Overworld themes! Also like the Athletic theme and the Mario vs Luigi level themes. Super Mario Galaxy - Good Egg Galaxy. Maybe the favorite for many is Gusty Garden, but this one is still mine as it brings back many memories of playing Dino Piranha as a kid, being captured by the beauty of the game and its soundtrack as I combed the first planet for 20 minutes to grab all the Star Bits, then I finally play the level and die on the apple core planet. Great memories. Gusty Garden Galaxy is great too, it sound so great just like Good Egg. The main theme, Super Mario Galaxy (which plays for the credits) is awesome too. Let's keep it up! Battlerock Galaxy gives a bit more serious vibe, as you storm the Battlerock (or the Dreadnaught). Buoy Base Galaxy gives a "stronghold" vibe, and I love that. Super Mario 2007 is a funky remix of the Super Mario Bros theme. Bowser Battle is an awesome piece with a choir touch to make it truly epic; the same can be said for Battle for the Grand Star. Enter Bowser Jr.! is the other boss theme I want to mention, as it's got a cool pop rock feel to it. Beach Bowl Galaxy is nice and upbeat. Rosalina in the Observatory themes are also really good. The first is relaxing, the second is majestic, and the third is grand. Space Junk Galaxy is the truly relaxing piece; if you aren't careful, you might just fall asleep listening to this! Melty Molten Galaxy is an epic lava theme! Purple Comet is both nice and stressful, and a great piece too. Bowser's Galaxy Reactor is an epic theme for an epic final level. I could go on to mention even more, but this is getting very long and you get the idea. Super Mario Galaxy has an amazing soundtrack! New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Overworld theme, probably. Then there's Castle, and Athletic, and Boss, and Final Boss Phase 2, and Credits, and World 9, and Title Screen, and Desert, and Jungle, and Volcano, and so on and so forth... Super Mario Galaxy 2 - The Main Theme/Sky Station Galaxy 1. This theme is very epic! Throwback Galaxy is a great, well, throwback to Super Mario 64! Then you've got the Bowser Battle and Final Battle With Bowser themes, which are epic, then there's Melty Monster Galaxy, Digga-Leg, Yoshi Star Galaxy, Starship Mario themes, the World Map themes, Puzzle Plank Galaxy, Hightail Falls Galaxy, Slider, Cloudy Court Galaxy, Bowser's Lava Lair, Space Storm Galaxy, Slipsand Galaxy, Fleet Glide Galaxy, Bowser's Galaxy Generator, aaaand Credits! Okay, just listen to the full soundtrack. You will not be disappointed! Super Mario 3D Land - Overworld theme! I don't even need to explain, you know by now! The Final Bowser theme is pretty epic. I also like the Castle theme. Also Retro Land, Athletic, Special 8 Crown (world map), and Snow theme. New Super Mario Bros. 2 - Basically the same as NSMBW above. The Overworld and Athletic themes have been altered a bit, as they now have some extra vocals mixed in, which is a nice touch. Also there's the remix of the Super Mario World boss theme for the Reznors, which is cool. New Super Mario Bros. U - Overworld theme! Sorry, I had to. There's a lot in this game from NSMBW, so those apply here. There is a new Athletic theme, as well as new Bowser Boss themes, which are good. The Credits theme is pretty good too. Super Mario 3D World - Super Bell Hill/Main Theme is my favorite. In the words of Nathanial Bandy, it "puts a stupid smile on your face." Double Cherry Pass is a great one, too! I want to continue, though! Switch Scramble Circus, Castle theme, Bowser's Highway Showdown, Bullet Bill Brigade, Snowball Park, Hisstocrat, Shifty Boo Mansion, The Bullet Bill Express, Piranha Creeper Creek, Beep Block Skyway, Sunshine Seaside, Hands-On Hall, Fuzzy Time Mine, Motley Bossblob, Fort Fire Bros, Simmering Lava Lake, World Bowser, The Great Tower Showdown themes, Staff Roll, World Star, World Flower, World Mushroom, Rainbow Run, and Champion's Road! Great soundtrack; highly recommend! Super Mario Run - Remix 10. It's very unique and slaps too. Super Mario Odyssey - Jump Up, Super Star! This is a great, fun song that you should know the lyrics to if you're a Mario fan! I look forward to more songs like this! Fossil Falls is an awesome theme that sounds a bit like Mario Galaxy but different enough to be its own theme. Steam Gardens is fun and unique, and Break Free (Lead the Way) is another cool song by Pauline. May I name more awesome songs that you should definitely check out? How about Bonneton, Broodals Battle, Madame Broode Battle, Tostarena Ruins, Inverted Pyramid, Knucklotec Battle, Torkdrift Battle, Lake Lamode, Bowser Battle 1, Forgotten Isle, New Donk City Night themes, Mechawiggler Battle, New Donk City, Band Performance, Underground, Shiveria Town, Ice Cave, Bubblaine, Mollusque-Lanceur Battle, Mount Volbono, Cookatiel Battle, Ruined Dragon Battle, Bowser's Castle, Bowser's Castle Courtyard, RoboBrood Battle, Underground Moon Caverns, Bowser Battle 2, Honeylune Ridge Collapse, Credits, Peach's Castle, Run Jump Throw themes, Another World, and Above the Clouds! What a great soundtrack, the boss themes in particular are some of the best boos themes in the series! Give this soundtrack a listen! Bowser's Fury - Sorry, haven't listened to it yet. I'll be sure to update this part when I do! And we've finally reached the end of this long, but grand journey. Hope you'll listen to the soundtracks if you haven't already, highly recommend Mario 64, Galaxy 1, Galaxy 2, 3D World, and Odyssey, but all are great honestly. If I missed something you like, be sure to let me know! "Thank you so much for to reading my comment!"
Mr. Copy-Cat First I want to say I really like your videos as they provide some good feedback on the Various Mario Bros games, second I want to re-request as I did in you “Worst thing about every Mario Bros Game” video that you do a comparison of the 2 “Super Mario Bros 2 Games” Meaning the Original Japanese version vs. the American version, and the different versions of each version, such as the original NES Style version of the Japanese Super Mario Bros 2 and the “All Stars Lost Levels Version” for the SNES, and for the other game how it difference between the very original version “Doki Doki Panic” to the NES version of American “Super Mario Bros 2” to the SNES All-Stars version for the SNES to the Game Boy advanced version with emphasis on the additions that exist on the Game Boy Advanced Version including the new enemies and the additional boss of “Robo-Birdo”, third as a suggestion for future videos I’d suggest talking a bit about the Mario Bros “Superstar Saga Games” from the original to the Dreamworld Game across the various Handheld devices, and finally to comment on this video I tend to agree with your general analysis of the games, the first one of course Having a great selection of Music and on that note to make another suggestion you may want to do a video on the worst music in every Mario Bros Game from the ones that just plain stink to the ones that creep us out which in my case at #1 would be the boo house music in the games which does include the creepiness of the tone in the “Luigi’s Mansion Games”, as for the American Super Mario Bros 2 you could have talked a bit about the various Music differences in the music based on the different systems it was released on, on the note of “Super Mario Bros 3” you seemed to have covered the basics about it so good job, since I never had an original Gameboy and never played those games I’ll omit commenting on those games save that on the note of visuals in “Super Mario Land 2” the Red tone especially in Mario’s eyes makes the game seem a little creepy already but I do like Easter egg music in games, as for Mario 64 One piece of Music I like that you did not mention is the song played in water levels the level names of which escape me at the moment but include the levels for board bowers sub and the other one being the pirate ship level, to continue wih Super Mario Sunshine the only thing I can mention at this point is about your comment about the secret levels being harder than they look, and that is that in the video you showed the level at the point after you initially beat it the first time where you have FLUDD with you which makes things easier overall vs how the first time through you don’t have FLUDD and that makes it even harder, and on a side note to other people who read this one of the levels that always starts you out without FLUDD is in Pinto Village Stage 3 where you have to swing through the village underside to get to FLUDD to wash off the rest of the level especially if you want to find a Blue coin that only appears in this stage, to move on to Super Mario Galaxy the only thing I can say is that one of the general things I like about the music is that there is not really any creepy music in it so that is one thing that makes it stand out in terms of having one of the best selection of Music over all the games, as for Super Mario Wii I agree with your comment on the similarities but like with the handheld game which I skipped(Sorry) I do like how in both games the enemies dance to the music which could be a bit of an Easter Egg to the 1993 “Super Mario Bros Movie” where at one point to distract the Goombas Luigi gets them to dance to the music on the elevator they are riding to get to Princess Daisy in Koopas Tower, which on a side note should have in retrospect been based of NY Cities “Empire State Building” as opposed to the sadly destroyed World Trade center Buildings as that aspect of the movie for those of us including myself who like the movie find that reference a bit sad given what happened(though you could say the same thing about any other movie that uses those towers in it at some point), Super Mario Galaxy 2 is defiantly an improvement from the first so they defiantly have that going for them, as for the Plotline the same argument that nothing really changed except the difficulty is a reused theme as that was the difference between the Super Mario Bros 1 and the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros 2 granted having more “Rosealina” in the game would have been better but at least we got to play her as a character in a later game, to continue with “Super Mario 3D Land” the game was OK in my mind though it would have been better if like in “Super Mario Bros 3” for the NES you could have made Mario Fly somehow, as for the music that is one of the games more redeeming qualities, though one the note of Mario games in general one of the things I think that Nintendo needs to do is have a Cheat code thing like the old “Game Shark’ or the “Action Replay Devices” so players who like me are more interested in the stories than the act of playing a game can do so with ease as opposed to constantly getting frustrated with the hardness of each game, I tend to agree with you about “New Super Mario Bros 2” in terms of being a bad game though in my case that is due mainly to the fact that for some reason in world 8 I can’t seem to get passed the tower level before the final fight due to some weird glitch that was never corrected by the programmers, at least as far as I can tell but the music you mention is still good in my mind, the New Super Mario U does have great music though I think you may want to mention to gamers that the best version of this game is the re-released version for the “Nintendo Switch” as it adds Toadette as a playable character with the unique addition of her having the ability to transform into Peach using a crown powerup including how if you get to the part of the final level where peach looks out the window and you still have this power up it cause Peach to say What? Since she wonders how she could be saving herself though even if you beat that level and still have the Power up you don’t get to see her come face to face with “Herslef” just plain old Toadette, which might be something the Programmers could add as a DLC on the Switch version to make it more interesting, super Mario 3D World does have some good music and I agree with your other commenters about the Cherry level song as to me it does have a kind of “Folk Music” feal to it which is something I liked about the “Super Mario World” in the one Banjo based song especially since banjo music reminds me of the times when my Dad will play “Kingston Trio” song “Three Jolly Coachman” on his banjo which I really love and I suggest you all look up at some point and if any of you like to make videos using characters like those in the Mario Bros Games set to songs like the one I mentioned then the song having Mario, Luigi, and Look like they are doing that would make a great video in my mind, since I never played “Super Mario Run I’ll skip talking about it, though the music you mentioned does sound rather fun, as for “Super Mario Odyssey” I whole heartedly agree about “Jump Up Superstar” though the one thing I am sorry to say is that the full version of this song is found nowhere in the game itself, but it can be found here (ua-cam.com/video/e9r5hx47kxM/v-deo.html) andas for the Fossil Falls song, it does seem to fit in nicely as the games official anthem, just like “Take me out to the Ballgame” is the unofficial anthem of Baseball, one thing to note on the side is that in the wooded kingdom is that one place where the only music you hear is if the T-Rex finds you is in the lower level of the Kingdom which is otherwise silent and can make it feel a little creepy, and as I’ve said before creepy music in a game is something I don’t like as it just makes it harder for me to play, as for Bowsers Fury I’ve only just begun to play this game but the music that I have heard tends to make me think more of some of the Music I hear in the “Sonic Adventure Games” more than any in a Mario Bros game, which could also be said for the end song in the final part of the Moon Kingdome of Mario Odyssey I believe called “Breakthrough” or something like that, to conclude I first apologize if I have said anything that upsets/insults you but as a man with Autism and OCD it just tends to be my nature which leads to my next apology about this comment being so long, but I do like to be thorough in what I write about as to get all the details right and understood correctly.
Super mario lands sky pop song was also good, as It starts as the original starman but then its more groovy. But also the mario 3's athletic theme, which had more remixes, mario wonder's wonder flower and ninji disco, which is lit and awesome, mario 3d land's cosmic Mario music, which is a remix of mario 1's underground and overworld theme, mario world's world 1 theme, which sound like a hawaiian song, mario Maker 2's yamamuras dojo which is a remix of one of the 3d world's songs, and the mario maker 2's mario 1's desert theme, that song goes hard and hits different.
My favorite Mario 64 tracks are without any doubt "Dire, Dire Docks" and "Koopa Road". I love the Dino Piranha theme from Mario Galaxy. Bowser and Bowser Jr. themes from Galaxy are really good too. I absolutely love the Ancient Piramid theme , the second world theme and the Marine Pop theme from Mario Land. Jump Up, Superstar and the Cascade Kingdom theme from Odyssey are masterpieces. Delfino Plaza and the boss themes from Sunshine are really great. Copycat, I agree with you: the Castle Theme from Mario World are simply a masterpiece. I love the soundtrack of Mario games. Luigi's Mansion Main Theme is wonderful, too.
Super Mario Odyssey: my favorite is the New Donk City night theme. I have a game save where I refuse to complete The Scourge on the Skyscraper mission so I can run through the city on the rainy night anytime I want.
In smb1, i agree the best is the main theme obvs, but second best is the underwater theme, i like the starman theme but there are better versions of the starman theme that may play in the NSMB Series or the wing cap theme from sm64. That's just my opinion. But yeah, overall, for the games i know. We have quite similar opinions. Great minds think alike!
Im sad you didnt mention the underground theme for Super Mario Land, it's one f my favorite mario songs of all time and I especially like it bc it reminds me of Daisy, since thats her origin game

No kidding, Dire Dire Docks and the file select screen are my favorites. They're so soothing and just beautiful.
The first thing I thought of when I saw the thumbnail was Dire Dire Docks. Easily the best Mario 64 song for me.
its his opinion tho
My favorite 64 songs are the dire dire docks and the file select screen. Just soothing.

13:27 I am pretty sure that song was in Galaxy 1. Also I’m pretty sure that song is Bowser Junior’s unofficial main theme
Wait, that's not Bowser Jr's official theme? It plays every time he shows up and also in his boss fight in Bowser Jr's Airship Armada
@@kameksapprentice9416 I don’t think it is his official theme I don’t think he really has one because it changes every game but I’m pretty sure most people consider that his non-official theme

And what about the beach theme from Super Mario 3D Land? That’s easily the best in that game.
Gusty Garden is probably the greatest video game piece ever written. Period.
That’s very bold. Out of every game soundtrack, a Mario theme is the best?
Gusty Garden is so overrated

Okay Mario has so much banger songs that I would love to see you make a second part of this vid, or maybe a whole series talking about your fave tunes from each mainline mario game
There are so many amazing mario songs out there!!!
For me the best NSMB song is by far the castle theme. It's the most epic the series ever had
Bowser's Galaxy Reactor wants to say hello
Comet observatory 3 is the best galaxy song next to Gusty Gardens and Rosalina’s Storybook

Love this series idea! Def missed quite a few awesome ones from 64 and Galaxy 2
My personal favorite song in Super Mario 3D World is the blink block skyway theme. I love it so much.
8:36, I love what the DS version did with this room, it always felt like a "grand room" if that makes sense, it feels so claustrophobic in the original version

Nintendo’s soundtracks are so amazing!!!
"Super Mario Bros. 2 was deemed too hard for Western Audiences."
Wow, thanks for the confidence boost, Nintendo.
Some of these games deserve their own videos just talking about a lot of the different songs in the game
This song really makes me feel like I just walked out the bathroom but forgot to flush the toilet so I walked back to the toilet and flushed it while also washing my hands again.

The music is the best
Nintendo does amazingly with the music

You just CAN'T talk about Mario music whitout mentioning "The grand Final" (or In the final) from Mario & Luigi : Bowser's inside story.
Literally the best final boss theme of every Mario game ever.

My favourite tracks from 3D World are:
-Maintheme

-Double Cherry Path
-Captain Toad goes forth (which is later been remixed for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker)
Shifty boo mansion is very underrated
I really like the puffprod peaks music and the piranha creeper creek music

My favorite in Bowser's Fury is called, "Chasing Down Giga Bowser!" that plays when you're chasing Giga Bowser while riding Plessie. It just feels so epic and fits as the endgame boss theme.
My personal favorite is the little tune that plays when you get the Ice Flower in Super Mario Galaxy.
Fun Fact: The Ice Flower and Fire Flower themes are the same notes, its just the Fire Flower is deeper.
Just wondering, why is nobody talking about "A Boss Approaches" from Super Mario 3D World? That song is one of the biggest bops ever
How dare you leave out the Plessie music in bowsers fury
Yeah! I find myself riding Plessis in circles just to get some of that music!

Not to mention the island themes. Scamper Shores and Pounce Bounce Isle are catchy as hell.

Bowser's world theme from super mario 3D world is just..... FANTASTIC 👌
I love that you always bring up memories of playing games with your sisters :)
My favourite song from Mario Galaxy is a tie between the Purple Comet theme and the Buoy Base Galaxy theme. I was surprised he didn't mention these or the incredible castle theme from New Super Mario Bros DS
I love how both of the choices for Super Mario Galaxy 2 were also in the first game (Toy Time and the second Bowser Jr. fight respectively)
I love the steel drum in the smw soundtrack. I really think it adds to how great the song is alrrady
Great video! I also think Scamper Shores is a good one.
12:00 the title theme is better than overworld theme for some reason, agree.
I really loved the Rolling Roller Isle/Mount Magmeow theme from Bowsers Fury because it was so catchy and it slapped.
Him: browsers duty isn't a super Mario game
Me: YES IT IS
It's pretty amazing that almost every mainline Mario game has a super catchy and memorable theme song (even if it's an unofficial theme song). I can hum any of them on command. I think the only exceptions are the NSMB games which pretty much had the same soundtracks if I recall, and SMG2, which had great music but I can't really think of a defining song for the game.
Copycat said a song "slaps". I love this
5:18 my favorite tune in the entire game of Super Mario World is the little flagpole tune. I always dance when I hear it 😂
15:53 the clapping that you hear in the music is in sync with the characters that are clapping
The underground track from Super Mario Bros was also used in Superstar Saga, when you were in the caves beneath bean bean castle.
You could make that kind of video for the mario sports games as well. I think this would be a really interesting list and fun video to watch
Super Mario world credits song should compare in this video
I think we can all agree that Galaxy had the best music
And Galaxy 2 and Super Mario 3D World
While every song in Galaxy was absolutely beautiful, two of my personal favorites were the music that plays on the spaceship and when you read Rosalina's story
Really want to see this for the RPGs (Super Mario RPG, all Paper Mario's, and the Mario and Luigi game)
Yes! Please, Copycat. Vote the songs of those games.
Mario kart music is surprisingly good ! Rank them too .

Gusty Garden Galaxy always reminds me of A Flock of Seagulls “Space Age Love Song” which is absolutely fits.

Great List! Maybe you could do one about Mario Kart Theme Songs?🤔
I would love to see a video on best songs in the Paper Mario franchise!
A Mario Kart video would be great too
Mario Party and the Mario and Luigi series have some great songs as well. Maybe you should do a video for the side series, since Mario Kart has been mentioned. Although I think the Mario and Sonic games are ones whose music shines in the remixes and not the original songs...
People who watch without headphones:

This has been a good video so far, but I had to stop halfway through to say that it is a travesty that you got through Super Mario 64 and didn't mention "Dire Dire Docks;" which is my all time favorite Mario song.
Yoshi Island, Mario RPG and Tetris Attack all have amazing soundtracks!
Oh boy, this'll be a looong comment...
Before I get started on my list, let me point out a few strange parts of this video:
6:45 New Bowser boss themes, *Am I a joke to you?*
8:50 So we're just going to ignore Dire Dire Docks, which so many people like it's hard to ignore
11:09 That's a very interesting opinion on favorite in the game.
Wii?
13:24 A great theme, but it was in Galaxy 1 called "Enter Bowser Jr.!"
14:20 Another unique opinion!
14:46 "As it failed to bring anything new to the table" *shows one of the most unique levels in the game*
17:03 So we're not even going to talk about the main theme (Super Bell Hill)? Okay
Okay, this is my list of favorite songs from each Super Mario game, as well as others I like.
11:09 I have shared his opinion for years, I think it is much more enjoyable and memorable than the gusty garden soundtrack.

"super mario bros 2 is a reskin"
struggles with the urge to punch the screen and scream at the top of my lungs
Mario Bros Music and Castlevania songs are my fave video game songs.
i could swear, and i absolutely mean i could SWEAR that "Slider" is based off of the NES water levels, with higher speed and tempo
I personally think Mario 3 has the greatest Mario soundtrack ever , dam that Boss theme slaps harder than Chris Brown
This will go viral
Super Mario Odyssey: my favorite is the New Donk City night theme. I have a game save where I refuse to complete The Scourge on the Skyscraper mission so I can run through the city on the rainy night anytime I want.

In smb1, i agree the best is the main theme obvs, but second best is the underwater theme, i like the starman theme but there are better versions of the starman theme that may play in the NSMB Series or the wing cap theme from sm64. That's just my opinion. But yeah, overall, for the games i know. We have quite similar opinions. Great minds think alike!
My favorite song is the world 5 theme in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It’s been stuck in my head since I got it for the 2nd time🙂
The Steam Garden theme is just 👌
