I like how there's more to the rats besides "Disgusting enemies that you must kill because they're evil". The cats pushed them to that extreme by the way they treated them when they gained the power of the crystals. I hope there are quests you can do to form an alliance between cat and rat, at least to some extent.
YES!!! So glad you picked up on that and appreciate it. We didn't want to make Kristala just another tired "cats vs. rats" story. While it definitely appears that way from afar, the relationship between Ana and Kota is actually a lot more nuanced and complicated than it initially seems.
