Old Clamp Restoration

In this project, we restored an old OLYMPOS F clamp (Bar Clamp). Due to the high corrosion of the clamp and bends in some of the parts, the project turned out to be much more difficult than it was expected. We made a handle out of walnut wood for the clamp since its original handle was missing. For bluing, we used Birchwood Casey super blue bluing liquid.
We used Myford ML7 lathe in this restoration video. During the project, we identified some issues with the lathe and are working on it. In this project, we also used our homemade hydraulic shop press which you can find its video at the following link:
