That is a well presented project. And it works!!! Thank you. Just watch the gloves around a drill press. If your finger starts around the back side of the drill bit, the glove will take your finger to places you will not like. In most shops and tool rooms gloves are forbidden along with jewelry.

Instead of bolting the grounding Clamp Cable to the magnetic Block, maybe just have a conductive stud for the Ground Clamp to clamp on when needed. Nice project!!

If something shorts, won't that potentially screw with the magnetic field?

My dearest friend, you are incredibly talented and well-intentioned. You have made a clear, educational, simple explanation and a lot of effort. Health to your hands.

Is it hard to turn due to magnets not wanting to be in that placement ?

Only problem: If it gets hot, its destroyed. But very cool!

    Simple and Great 👍
I have some questions and suggestions
1.what is the liquid use in 9min and it's for what?
    2. using notation and color for "lock" and "unlock" on the rotating handle and body (or use sign), it can be more perfect.
    Thanks a lot.

Thank you Ali for your attention and special regards because you are always supporting us.
Super Blue is a bluing liquid that is mostly used for bluing guns. It is almost a solution to turn the steel black. Bear in mind that it does not work on stainless steel and only works on carbon steel. Also it is possible to achieve black and hardened steel using hot bluing. Cold bluing is more simple and we use it for cases that hardening is not very important.
About your second note, of course it is very useful to display Lock/Unlock or On/Off signs that we forgot to do that ;)

What a great advert for buying the cheepest of crap spring clamps.
Even the rubbish clamps use brass or copper contacts.
Making a mild steel earth clamp must make this a contender for the idiot of the year award.

I wonder if the magnetic field effects the weld somehow maybe it's a stronger weld who knows
