Flat range of 160 miles if helping it (BS-ing here. don't have data for mid range yet. 160 is what me+hub could do.) Gas is king in energy to weight, lower cost, and in recharge time. I'm always waiting for the next generation of batteries! Then there solar. Each 100w panel is 5 pounds. I have 2 but really 4 would be better. To bad I'm not light like when I started riding 3-ish years ago. Lol just joking, I'll keep my 40 added pounds of human body weight.

Really informative videos. I have a couple of Chinese electric scooters with 60v20ah batteries. What is the best way to set up solar panels, controller and plug to charge them up in 5 hours or less?
also, do you need to do the brake sensors like that? Or can you swap out the brake levers with the ones from the kit. I don't really like the magnet sensor idea
Only hard part about the gear sensor is getting the cable back on the derailleur at the same tension. Add a mark to show where the cable should be. I had to use the magnet brake sensor because marlin 7 has Hydraulic brakes, and the kit came with the cable version, but after searching I found a better looking option. amzn.to/3WIYlAZ These are Bafang hydraulic levers.

I've started trying to work with prebuilt e-bike companies as well. Making things yourself can be difficult. Problem is many prebuilt e-bike can't charge and discharge at the same time. For those 2 batteries are needed. One for riding while the other recharges from the panel.
@@Eric_Tennant yes, that's why I am going to get 2; 3 extra batteries, Eric trying to talk on here isn't working for me, I feel like I can't say what I need to, seriously, people are harsh and really mean sometimes/ most of the time I'm finding out and I thought that being a member I'd be able to talk in a private setting, and it doesn't look like I don't know why I was hoping that; doesn't look like that's going to happen, man I'm set on an very good dependable bike with even a huge tuff motor and riding across country out there but man I'm not going to be able to do a worthy build my self, if I hadn't had the stroke on top of the severe fractures it would be a different story. Man Eric, look; if I sent you the money for a good build and id really need fat tires because I really need the cushion " because of the pain in my back and neck, cushion and Better than normal shocks and big soft seat is going to play a huge part in making my last wish attainable" I can't say on here what's going on with my health, I really can't; I don't even want to think about it. I just want to make, hopefully my year the best dream I've ever had come true.. it's more than just a Cross country trip for me,if I can just say that.. man I don't care what I have to be charged, and I know it's not going to be cheap but seriously I've got ENOUGH money for a heck of a build and pay someone good to build it for me.y whole intention was to build it myself and then ride the whole way but I don't think it'll work out like that, God it's hard to speak so freely about what's going on. Nope. It is simple to do just add 2 of these ( s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DEcs0SB ) on each side of the bottom bracke when installing the Bafang.

One is the front chain ring size. I went with a 42t for speed. The other option is battery size. The higher the number the more range you will have.

Be aware this kits only fit older bikes
It will fit new bikes if it has the same bottom bracket size.
