This is my first entry for smash content after having the itch to make my own smash content for a year now. Finally got the time to put in work towards creating this video with my style, a homage to the greatest of greatest: Armada.

Such a great reminder of why this is the GOAT of Melee. Really nice work with the editing. The music selection also feels so fitting lol.
Maybe I missed it but I didn't see a clip for Eclipse 1, which was one of the greatest destructions in a Fox ditto ever, though I do recall the VODs looked like crap with a terrible frame rate.
Keep it up, this is a good mash up.

What sucks is that Hbox has an extremely strong Falco that he should just use. Like, dang man, we’d all like you a hell of a lot more.

That would imply that if he played a "easier" smash game he would be a top player, or the best player. Which isn't anywhere close to true.
@@raykings5244 M2K was the Brawl GOAT and was top 100 in Sm4sh while still remaining a top 10 player in Melee. Top Brawl and Sm4sh players like Larry Lurr and ZeRo started as high ranking Melee players. Armada is even better than M2K at Melee so there's no reason to doubt that someone like him can eventually become a top ssbu player, given enough time. Leffen got 17th at G6 ssbu after only 3 months away from Melee, outplacing Marss, Ally, WaDi, and Abadango and tying with Nairo, Larry Lurr, and Glutonny.
Melee is the hardest smash game by far. That doesn't mean it's objectively the best game and it doesn't mean Melee players are categorically better than smash 3-5 players at video games. However, there is a higher chance of a Melee player finding success in Ultimate than a Sm4sh player finding success in Melee but here are many reasons for that besides "skill" and it takes no merit away from Brawl/Sm4sh players.
Armada really needs to work on this. Salem was totally right, he’s a one trick pony. The only thing he knows how to do is win. He tried to mix it up at Evo 2018 but still ended up getting second. This is so sad, can we get 10 likes?

I know this is a response to the Salem 1 trick pony thing, but you should consider doing this for more melee players! Like all the gods, leffen, plup, etc

I think you should've mentioned the other gods before leffen. Leffen only recently won evo when people like armada, hbox, mango, or m2k have won evo and other tournaments a lot more than just leffen. I still got respect for the godslayer but you gotta give the other gods just a little bit more credit

And just walked around harboring that hatred until Leff is all "Snake isn't that good tho" and then just veins pop all over his head and he goes "NO! IF I HAVE TROUBLE PLAYING AGAINST A CHARACTER HE HAS TO BE TOP TIER RARARAGWHHAGAHWHGAHA"
The Melee and Brawl/Sm4sh communities have been quite toxic to each other for a while. Salem is understandably upset, he just didn't think very hard about what he was saying and had a bit of a fit.

I'm kind of a casual/normie when it comes to playing melee, but I absolute enjoy watching the top level players. I really dont care for any other smash game other than melee and ssb64. Are people calling armada a OTP because he only plays melee?
Salem had a fit on twitter and went too far. In his fit he criticized Melee players for refusing to play smash games and called them all OTP's who could never be good at other smash games because they were only top ranked in Melee, even though M2K exists and Zero was #35 in Melee. Then Armada showed him his credentials that included high tournament placements in other smash games, in spite of him not enjoying Brawl and sm4sh, and Salem responded by calling him a OTP since his best placements were Melee and PM which is a "Melee clone".
