I get you tried to help and be “that guy” but no one asked for it
Thanks mate 👍 👌 for the clippings
I am less than a newbie here. I joined a gym, paid extra for help, only to have the guy tell me, " use this, use that, this many reps... bye" He gave no instruction whatsoever. I tried to do it myself looking at the pictures (lol) So eventually I quit. After I tore my rotator cuff and labrum. And had to have surgery.
This video was very easy to understand. I have a home gym now and I am very excited to try to get started slowly gaining my muscle health! Thank you so much! New subscriber! ❤
Did you try to ask them for instructions?
@@shreyanshpandey106 normally they should ask you if you need instructions. But whatsoever, in my gym they also did it just rudementary, not really professional.
I am glad you are back at the gym despite the bad experience. Many who they call themselves TRAINERS don’t do anything. Enjoy your gym.
This was seriously one of your best videos ever

Hey Jesse and Jeff,
Id like to thank both of you for this gem. This inspired me to get back to the gym after months of skipping. I’ve been on this program since the video came out and I love the educational value and really hammering in how to do the perfect rep for each excersize in the video.
Much love brothers
Are you still using this program? Do you do all the exercises that were shown on each day, or a selection of 3-4 of them?
@@guilhermemateus5263 not exactly but something very similar to it at the moment. I added and took out a couple of exercises. But if you’re just starting out I recommend it.

I ruined my left forearm after several shoulder dislocations. Building the shoulder up, resulted in my forearm taking over when it was weak (most the time). Started to false/suicide grip all rows/pulldowns/triceps exercises and it massively improved all my workouts by not using the forearms. Unlocked next level mind/muscle connection

30:53 This is why I do this with lift via Cables. You get that stretch and don't have to lay on an incline bench in a strange position. Again, light weight, slow motion ( 3 seconds ) and stretch. Skull Crushers: I do with dumbells and concentrate more on the stretch, which is slow and steady. Lift like you have Old Man Muscle

Lets appreciate the ad in the video, it was really nice and comfy add, not like the ones nowadays..
Jesse, I'm not an original fan of you. I didn't know who you were until yesterday. My husband is your subscriber. We recently started working out to be healthy again. We're binge watching your vids and they're fun and informative. I like what you said in your marathon video. Inspiring. I have a disc bulge on my lower back, I can't do the typical routines, but I'm doing alternatives. You make fitness and health fun and positive. Your vids deserve to be viral so everyone can see that body positivity is not about just accepting your fats and weight - it's doing something about it because we belong to this world, to move around and do things - not sit and eat.
Keep being active. Don’t neglect movement since movement is what heals the body as the research and logic suggests
This is a great video. When I'm at the gym, it's obvious I can lift a lot more than the weight I'm using, but I stretch my negative movements out over up to 5 seconds and try to keep reps around 8-15. Massive gains, lighter weights. I've been working out my whole life, and light and slow changed it all.

I've been following Jeff for years wealth of info.. im weeks away from 40yo and 2 kids under 2 so the dad bod is starting to show.. this is just a reminder you don't n need 2 hrs.. one hr with meaningful work outs with full stretch makes a world of difference
Those reverse nordics are criminal....I included în my leg program after seeing a Jeff Nipard short , and I do them at the end of my leg workout .....the stretch and the burn on that ex is mental
Jesse: "He has no clue we're building a program!!"
Jeff: "If we're gonna build a better program ..."
This is such a great video man... entertainment aside...so much value! Thanks jesse and jeff ofc..
Everyone needs this trainer... This man can explain so well.
This is so great, I love seeing YT fitness creators collaborating. It was also just really fun to watch as well as informative (as Jeff always is). Would love to see more of you both training together!
At some point I promised myself to stop watching Gym content because after +10years I felt like I had taken everything necessary in. But this is on another level and it’s amazing how I am taking away so many small little things which I can implement right away 🔥
Jeff is goated. I’ve learned more from him than any other fitness UA-camr.

Two beasts showing off
Jesse dirty jokes
The best program ever with fine grain details
Ig live squad hitting chest today!!!
Kelso shrugs are awesome, especially on a cable machine leaned back with a shoulder width grip.
Something that would be useful would be a breakdown of what the most commonly effective set ranges would be for each muscle group. I have had trouble finding consistent recommendations of how many sets per week is optimal without over/under training. Like do we need 12 sets of triceps like we do 12 sets of pecs through a week? And I have seen information that you need more sets as an advanced (several years) lifter compared to a beginner (first maybe 2 years), but no studies or evidence really backing how many someone 'should' be doing during those experience ranges. And then the idea of when one should start targeting specific muscles of a group like long/short/median heads of something
@6:34 This is the "SS" rank exercise
Am I an idiot or can you not read the plan at the end because of suggested videos?

Broooohhh!! The disappointment on jesse face when his side raises got D ..hahahs m dying laughing 😂😂😂😂😂😂at all m 😂😂😂
UA-camrs are so creative yk. instead of just shooting a vlog wii the other guy, he structured the vlog differently by secretly making a gym program for the viewers and that made the vid so much more interesting
The best thing I ever did in the gym was stop worrying about pushing heavy weights. When I was an Olympic lifter I never had to cut weight. I was a solid 118 pounds (with an Olympic total more than 5 times that amount.)
When I made the transition to bodybuilding I would treat my workout the same, (pyramid sets based on the Greg Doucette style “10% rule”) and never gained weight. Once I stopped trying to push weight and started concentrating more on a slow negative eccentric and control in deep reps with a weight I can control…Im finally making gains. Just weighed in at 142 lifting about 60% of weight I once did.
2:52 she got thirsty all of a sudden 😂

0:02 why is this exercise pointless?
Because the front delts are heavily stimulated by the bench press and shoulders press anyway so there is no reason to train them separately. However if you enjoy doing this exercise it's fine
If you are already doing bench press and standard shoulder db press then there is no point in doing this, front, side and rear delts, you need to choose 3 exercises for all 3 heads , that's all you need
@@youtubeyo142there are 7 heads.
@@crabalockerfishwife5660 There are 7 joints in the shoulder, not 7 heads, in bodybuilding shoulder means anterior posterior and lateral, please tell me you aren't talking about pectoral major, cause people train that in chest day, traps are tricky cause most people train that on back day and some on shoulder, the serratus is a part of the lat muscle, people train that in back day, not shoulder
It’s not, it’s just a bit for the intro
32:41 bro is fighting demons in the back
somehow one of these videos made it to my feed and i appreciate having a science nerd explain this. fitness is so confusing to me and i needed a guy like this explain this to me.

Jesse, can you alter the thumbnails for video recommendations that appear when the video ends and place them higher? They get in the way of the program
Open the video from a laptop ar any computer rather than your mobile
It’s actually unreal how this is free 💀
Sitting in a bench at an incline and doing front raises emphasizes the stretch and has grown my front delts like crazyyyy, would highly recommend from experience as a skinny dude.
I train with an Exercise Physiologist. It was a game changer.. I recommend that everyone starts with a highly qualified EP. Before even lifting a dumbbell/ bar
25:21 Jeff just casually yeeting his phone 😂
2:18 Jesse james west is the smartest person , uses percent sign instead of degrees
"you wanna touch it?"
"I do.." 🥵
I love that so many of the exercises Jeff suggests are the same favourites of Milo Wolf. Great minds. You do seem to have included the alternatives in the list at the end which I'd be careful of, because people are gonna end up screenshotting that and might end up thinking you should be doing all of it. That being said, as long as you're not going too hard into your first session, the evidence seems to suggest that more volume is likely better anyway. So it's probably not the end of the world if they do that
I don’t get impressed by Jessie very often since he has a goofy and adhd sporadic personality but those were on the best squats I’ve seen a fitness UA-camr do. Goodjob!
Jeff says incline db press after bench is redundant, but in his own Hypertrophy Fundamentals program that I am using, he put db press right after bench? Confused :(
He did say in the video that it's redundant assuming you're doing push day twice a week. If that's the case, you then do db press on the other day.
