Hey Jesse, hope you read this, I’ve been suffering from crippling dysthymia and depression for the past couple of months, zero motivation to do anything, last two weeks were hard to survive, lost about 10lbs due to loss of appetite and stress. Watched this video at 5 in the morning, I haven’t slept all night but this has filled me with enough motivation to fix things from day after tomorrow, a new Monday, a new month and a new me, gotta get back and redeem myself, fix my life. Thank you for the amazing video you should know how much you impacted a stranger’s life! Love you and stay relentless!
Your 5AM wake ups are a wish for a lot of people,as there are a lot of people getting up daily at 5AM but going on a normal factory or office job. Keep progressing.
i wake up 4am every day. I have kids and it gives me a space in the day where i have the house to my self. I can enjoy my coffee and put on makeup and in general just make my self ready for the day and have breakfast ready for the kids when they wake up. I know it's a choice. But i can't see how you could choose not to do this ?? so in a way. It's not a choice. It's a must.
@@gargoyled_drake Defenitely as a family person.. When it comes to still childfree person its either work atm or its a choice and if the person has any goals and waking up that early will help him achieve them faster.
I started to wake up exactly at 5 am in January due to my new work, and I can safely say I will stick with waking up early even after changing this job...it's so nice to reach 4:30 pm and have my work and gym done and just enjoy the time and focus on myself (things I like to do) and after that focus on friends and family (because they usually get home or are free at the same time I've done everything for the day. this allows me to enjoy the moment guilt-free because I don't need to skip the gym any run or any little thing I like to do to spend time with them, everything thanks to waking up early and getting my day done before anyone else.
This was surprisingly wholesome - wasn't expecting the angle with the parents, but I'm loving it. Great job Jesse, I've been watching your videos for about 2 years now and your content just keeps getting better and better. Much love to you and the fam.
i've been trying to wake up at 4 for a while to study the whole day and have some time for myself too because i'm preparing for a really hard exam this year, also trying to do even a 10 minute workout in the mornings to get into fitness/pilates and this motivated me so much. this is one of those videos that are going to be a time to time rewatch, thank you jesse. waking up at 4/5 is definitely going to be a forever thing i hope, because it really does feel like you have a whole another day to yourself. there's no better feeling than being productive and finishing your day so early. it also helps to see that everyone's going through the same struggles while trying to achieve things :) again, thank you.

How do you hit the gym in the evening and fall asleep? Do you not have caffeine before working out? I can work 9 hours of my choosing but I still haven't found the sweet spot to hit the gym. Either A. be destroyed before work or B. kept up at night... Each results in me missing work from being such a sicko meathead.

Welcome to the 5am club, brother. I've been waking up at 4:45am to be at the gym by 5:50am Mon through Friday for more than 3yrs. After my workouts at my personal trainers gym, I'll drive somewhere alone, say my daily affirmations, then read my Bible. Having to wake up is only for me. It's so important you make time for yourself. I don't do it for my wife and son, just me. The intricacies of being an entrepreneur, parent, husband, son, etc.. you give a lot of yourself to others, so waking up early over fills my cup to have enough left at the end of the day for my family and I. Between 11-2pm, I'll meditate for 20 to 30 minutes, and I'll nap for 25min 5min is to relax my mind and body with no one around and no cell phone, and 20 minutes is for napping. This gives me the boost of energy I need for the rest of the day.
5am is a normal time for most working class to get up ! Before I even start my job I've got to drive of 2 to 3hrs to the capital (London). Work 6 to 8hrs then drive back. This leave about 4hrs left for everything I need to do including training.. By 4th day I'm wrecked and running on Caffine and usually dont feel recovered until Sunday afternoon, just in time to return back to the grind. Trading time for money.
Waking up at 4:30 every day and writing books is the best routine I have ever applied in my life. As you said, no messages, no mails. Just pure focus 🚀

You're gonna feel so productive waking up at 5:00 AM. I lived in a small beach town for a month, waking up at 5 every day to go swimming. Felt amazing.
This was very refreshening to see. As a heavy sleeper who struggles with getting up daily you made me want to make the effort to do more with my day and rid myself of the guilt of sleeping in over being productive. 🤞🏻 I can make a change like you.
Waking up at 4 am or 5 am makes the day so much more productive. I get so much sh*t done by 8am, when most people are just starting their day. I can literally have my entire day done by 3pm, and then relax the rest of the day. It’s an amazing feeling. It helps with stress too.
In the 5am lifestyle for four years now. Back when I almost dropped out of college I made a switch and did that lifestyle for my last two years there, got back to it recently. It’s no coincidence those are also the two fittest times of my life. It’s an amazing lifehack that is not that hard once you are in the groove. 6:00 on Saturday is sleeping in, still hit the gym at 7 and get more done by 10 than most all day.
Jesse, I've been following your content for a while and I love the inspiration/positive message you always seem to bring. It made me realize I wanted to pursue fitness, I still fight anxiety and stuff but I recently completed my CPT courses and also was Fired from my Welding job yesterday and have decided that its now or never to push this fitness career I've been struggling to dive into in the last few months. Thank you for your content and as Always, Stay Relentless!

Thank you for this video jesse! I'm so much motivated after seeing this video. You know it's hard to follow a perfect routine as a teenage student who has college to attend everyday. But now I'm gonna go ahead and challenge myself to push my limits by maintaining a structured life, also doing everything to make my days productive. I can't wait to feel proud of myself. Stay relentless!

I have to wake up between 3:15-3:30 am for work. This isn't mandatory at my job, but I feel like it's best to start my day because I do drive and work out of my truck. But when I'm off, my goal is to get up at 5 am. to hit my goals. Also, I'm married and have 4 kids. Luckily, they are not babies. I love to run out doors, but since I live in nevada, I need to run early. Motivation is the key, and yes you need to go to bed early! Best believe it's hard, especially being a night owl. Love what you're doing. Keep up the great work.
Lets go ! I get up at 4am to to the gym for 5am and it is great as makes me be more productive during the whole day. Any advise for someone starting UA-cam?
It’s funny I’m a EMT and I work night shifts and work another job as a caretaker while going to Phlebotomy School. And honestly waking up early or being up so early to workout is the best feeling cause it’s the one ounce of peace that I get to have all to myself. Even some mornings I just got home after work or before school I treat myself to some coffee and breakfast and it’s really a peaceful moment to myself
I work at 5AM Monday through Friday to train clients, which means I wake up at 3AM or 3:30 to give myself enough time wake up and to get ready for the day without feeling like I have to rush around to get out the door. I’m a personal trainer so yes it is a choice to wake up at 3AM, I could probably get away with sleeping til 4AM but then I’m still groggy by the time I meet my first client. I need to be alert and aware of everything around me and my client for their safety. For that reason going to bed and waking up early enough is a MUST. I’m 22. Most people my generation probably scoff at the idea of waking that early for a job but I got used to it after about 3 months and everyday now I get a lot done and it keeps the day fulfilling.
@@JesseJamesWest Thats what I realized, I dont necessarily like waking up early. But I've just come to accept I'm waaaay more productive in the AM, so I do haha.
Getting up between 2:30-3am for work for YEARS now. Never could get my wife to understand why I was so tired and pretty much would criticize me any time I took a nap in the afternoon or was tired in the evening. On top of this my average bed time was around 9-10pm. It destroyed me for years and I'm only recently learning how important sleep is for burning fat and building muscle and back in the gym, eating 80% clean, and getting 7+ hours of sleep making health and longevity a priority now finally in my 40s.
Jessy you gotta be kidding me lol i get up at 4:30am every morning go to work construction i ave 2 kids every day come home do some cleaning cook some food i workout 4 to 5 times a week i get through it and i go to bed at 9:30 sleep like a baby lol you need to toughen up man
I’m 24 now and I’ve been getting up at 5:30-6:00 since I was 17 as I was working to pay rent while still going to school and those 2-3 hours I got in the morning was the ONLY time I had to do anything else I need and/or relax, one of the best habits I ever made

Reminds me of the OG Jesse videos at his parents house with the anabolic french toast. Keep up the great content man always motivational

The fact that jessie is so honest about his current state of being is so nice to see. Most people online never talk about the bad things in their lifes, meanwhile Jessie is open and honest. Nothing but mad respect and love from Denmark!!
I get up at 5 every day. I love it! My dog and I get to walk before anyone else is up and we get to watch the sunrise together, nothing better than starting my day like this.
Wholesome video Jesse! Waking up early is amazing! Get so much more quality time with the people you love and getting a head start on the day just puts you in such a good mood you just can't beat it

But now I'm gonna go ahead and challenge myself to push my limits by maintaining a structured life, also doing everything to make my days productive. I can't wait to feel proud of myself. Stay relentless!

alternate title: Disconnected Fitness influencer has to function like an average working class person for 30 days.
Stay consistent, keep posting and learning from every video

It’s funny I’m a EMT and I work night shifts and work another job as a caretaker while going to Phlebotomy School. And honestly waking up early or being up so early to workout is the best feeling cause it’s the one ounce of peace that I get to have all to myself. Even some mornings I just got home after work or before school I treat myself to some coffee and breakfast and it’s really a peaceful moment to myself
Dads super chill, he just answers shortly
Ahh yes the I get up earlier than you guy.
small word. I'm also 22, a personal trainer and wake up at 3:30 to train people at 5am lmao. There is another me!!! hahaha
What time u go to sleep
@@ElcoolMo 7-8pm
I discovered early mornings a few years ago, love it, never went back.
I definitely felt way more productive
5 muscle ups for every like
