Fluorescent light and LED bulbs don't produce all color spectrum. I had brownish jacket a few years back and it always looks greenish in the closet but when you walk outside, it's brown. I think that browning effect was from the garage light. Excellent job on the coating. It helped me how to plan ahead.
In order to take off the excess coating add a little bit more on top of the high spots that you have and then it'll reactivate the old portion and should buff off with a towel like the rest of the truck.... If that doesn't work use a Mr.clean magic eraser on it and use some sort of lubricant and scrub gently that's the method I used because I didn't want to open another bottle of ceramic just to get the high spots out. And if done right you won't be able to tell otherwise those high spots attract scratches and it'll look bad over time...
Any coating not maintained well will lose its efficacy relatively quick. However, the coating is bonded at a molecular level, it doesn't just come off in a few months unless user error is involved (didnt have a bare clear coat when you applied, its important to use a panel wipe to remove solvent oils from the polish), hire a professional if your coating (doesn't matter which brand) doesn't last more than 6 months.

I’m currently doing a research assignment on graphene. It’s a single atom thick honeycomb of carbon atoms. Very conductive and strong. Can be combined in layers to form many things. It’s a possible super material of the future. Only thing is that it’s expensive to make but people are working on more economic production.

Hi, using this Adam’s product do you notice any light to dark areas in your paint? Some people with dark or black paint using the Adam’s Graphene say their outcomes look to be not even after the coating is dry. I’m doing my black car and wanted to know your final outcome since it’s been on your truck and fully cured. You truck is starting to look sweat!
Looks great! If I were going to go to that extreme, I probably would've color sanded it with 3000-7000 first to remove most of the factory orange peel before starting this process, but that's just me! Either way, if this coating truly holds up for even 3-5 years (in the elements), I'd be really impressed! Nice job...
A little late to the party, just started researching the adams Graphene. It says 7 years, yet their own site says you need to re-apply it every year. So not sure how 7 years is really accurate, but since my truck stays outside 24/7 and wont fit in my garage I am just going to do the Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating, easy on, easy of.. Truck looks awesome though, nice job!
This is awesome. Thank you on this video. I will try this on my Harley. It's vivid black amd 10 years like new, but...I need this product! 👍💪💯 Thank you, again
Does this have to be wiped off immediately or does it have to flash like ceramic coating. I was hoping to see how you did it . Also does it have to cure for a day or two like Ceramic coat ?
How do you personally care for this? Do you put sealants and waxes over it or do you use a spray coating every few months to rejuvenate the original base coat?
Please check all your Aftermarket Suppliers to see if there is available a Front Camera System to plug into the current 8' display system. My Truck is so high that we have to have the passenger step outside the truck and guide me into a parking space. Front Camera with Parking assist would be Great. Thanks.
..and to think my dad told me back in the 70s, when you said you "waxed your car" meant you used Bee's Wax. My dad's Dually had the "protective coating" applied by the dealer with the appropriate certificates and proof it was back in 2005, basically BS, shocker I know. Even their new truck in 2019 came pre-ceramic coated, and then they were given the kit to keep it activate. 6 months in, one bird dropping left a stain and a set of turkeys decided to jump on the hood and left scratches, again a dealer thing. Meanwhile My 04 has nothing, but Turtle wax I used, or recently Chemical Guys or CAR GUYS Hybrid Wax because of the UV protection. Which I last waxed it back in October of 2021, last rain storm we had in Florida say 3 weeks ago, the flat surfaces, hood and tonneau still beaded up, because those are always the first to lose protection.
Question! I applied same graphene coating on my black trailboss. I noticed that the front 2 fenders by headlights are showing the purple UV in the graphene. Very noticeable in sun light. Is your truck doing the same? Should I remove the ceramic or what do u think?

I thought you needed to use UV lights to cure the ceramic coat? If all you need is to wait 24 hours then this is awesome. I’ll definitely give it a try!
Another great video and I sincerely appreciate all your hard work. Quick question for you........When you put a ceramic coating on, do you still need to wax your truck a couple times a year or will wax have an impact on the coating? You've convinced me that this is the route to go but I'm curious on the long term maintenance.
Long term maintenance involves simply spraying some ceramic boost every few months. Waxing won't do anything for you. Think of the ceramic as wax on steroids.
I used this and then later the Adams spray Graphene as a topper. All I do now is bay wash it and spotless rinse. Drive it home and it looks beautiful this stuff is great The only downfall is the raising of prices.
I just did my 2017 Black Silverado exactly the same as you (last week)with the Ethos Graphene. I’m glad I only have a regular cab. It was a lot of work. But It’s amazingly awesome! I can’t stop looking at it.
Have you noticed if you get less superficial scratches on your paint with this product? Less swirl marks, I have a black car, and I am thinking of coating it.
Hey bro that spot that you missed is just a high spot, apply the ceramic to that spot again and wipe off right away. Look into and try it hope it works out for you 👍🏻

How many times can you use compound on a clear coat ? Obviously after you add the Graphene coat it’s should last several years before you ever have to cut and polish your paint but just wondering ?
I know nothing of these types of coatings. I was thinking of doing ceramic coating on my new pickup. The local guy has several options in price. They do 300 dollars for a 2 year warranty and up to 1400 for lifetime. Does that mean I'll have to go back for maintenance for the coating? And I should never have to wax or anything like that either? I have no idea about these coatings!

I’m doing my black car and wanted to know your final outcome since it’s been on your truck and fully cured. You truck is starting to look sweat!
I dont have the time stamp but if you watch the whole video he talks about a spot that didn't cure right
19:35 ish
Looks great! If I were going to go to that extreme, I probably would've color sanded it with 3000-7000 first to remove most of the factory orange peel before starting this process, but that's just me! Either way, if this coating truly holds up for even 3-5 years (in the elements), I'd be really impressed! Nice job...
Do your own research. This guy's a salesman, that's all.
You won't remove peel with 3000 it will just glide over it
Great job , I was wondering could you have gotten away with a one step since the truck is new? Great video
Your Chevy Tundra looks gorgeous bud, keep up the good work.
😂😂
Are you planning to get new rims?
What does the ongoing maintenance look like? Do you need to reapply in between the 7 years?
This lad is doing well for himself. A house in Hawaii, and so many toys.
The dude lives in Texas not Hawaii!! That’s why he’s called himself the Lonestar Hawaiian
@@dougpeterson4804 ah I had it backwards. I thought he was a Texan living in Hawaii!
You are correct as for the brown tint.
How many times can one coat a car etc?
Always look forward to your vids. I have a trail boss too. Definitely picking up some ideas from your videos. Thanks for the awesome content!
Mahalo!
This is awesome. Thank you on this video. I will try this on my Harley. It's vivid black amd 10 years like new, but...I need this product! 👍💪💯 Thank you, again
Awesome job my friend, I just bought a brand new Dodge ram Laramie White and I would love for the same process to be done to my truck!
Does this have to be wiped off immediately or does it have to flash like ceramic coating. I was hoping to see how you did it . Also does it have to cure for a day or two like Ceramic coat ?
How is the coating holding up? Any updates?
Just as good as the day it was installed. Still use a leaf blower to dry off the truck .
How do you personally care for this? Do you put sealants and waxes over it or do you use a spray coating every few months to rejuvenate the original base coat?
How's the coating holding up? Adam's says 7 years. Seen videos where it starts fading after about 2-3 months.
The spot you missed can just be re-coated with the ceramic coating and buffed immediately to get rid of the haze. Good luck, looks good.
Thank you!
Howzit Lonestar Hawaiian 🤙🏽 looking cherreh your truck my braddah!! I wish I had da patience you get for the detail lol. Keep it up Hawaiian, I’ll be watching out for your vids. Aloha from one Hawaiian in Iowa (HIA) 🤙🏽
How’s the coating doing so far? Any loss in protection or gloss ?
You can use Adam's brilliant glaze to knock down high spots on the coating.
I could see the brownish tint also but I'm pretty sure it's due to the lighting inside the garage.
Looks Awesome !!! What kind of garage ceiling lighting do you have ?? It Lights up the WHOLE AREA ??? Thanks
It took me 4 days to detail a black 2500HD CC with the last day all spent applying the coating😩
I thought you needed to use UV lights to cure the ceramic coat? If all you need is to wait 24 hours then this is awesome. I’ll definitely give it a try!
@@mgrdigimarketing3035 it’s $70
So it has been 3+ years.. How is your Graphene ceramic coating holding up?
🤙🏽🤙🏽
Have you noticed if you get less superficial scratches on your paint with this product? Less swirl marks, I have a black car, and I am thinking of coating it.
Hey bro that spot that you missed is just a high spot, apply the ceramic to that spot again and wipe off right away. Look into and try it hope it works out for you 👍🏻
What exhaust do you have on your Silverado? Sounds superb
Just wondering what lights did you use in your garage?
Can that black ceramic coating be used on other color vehicles? Such as the northsky blue TB.
Hi brother love from india, some youtubers saying that ceramic coating have some advantages and also big negatives but am not understanding.. my vehicle is 6 years old.. honda mobio.. shall i do ceramic coating for my vehicle?
Your eyes weren't deceiving you I had a Cadillac with the same paint code there is in fact a little bit of brown in that black. You will also notice it in Mercedes black
How many times can you use compound on a clear coat ? Obviously after you add the Graphene coat it’s should last several years before you ever have to cut and polish your paint but just wondering ?
How much bottles of graphene did it take? Cause I want to do my 2021 Silverado with the same Adam’s graphene.
Amazing results. VERY well done video, by the way, really enjoyed it.
