Now we need plans and videos showing us how to build our own! You could even sell the most complicated parts that need a jig and/or a hardware kit along with plans and make $$$$$
It's fully registered & titled, has a fire extinguisher, horn, whistle, and meets all requirements for daytime operation. Pretty soon it will probably have nitrous too.
@@TheFabricatorSeriesYah sure, if your putting all that gear in that little donut hole then there'll be no room for your 6-pack cooler...LOL 🤠... MAYBEEE, you should invent a cooler tube trailer. You know like the paddle boarders have...just for the fun of it. Hummm, nitrous in 6-pks.??? 🤯
Nav lights arent required unless you plan on using them outside of daylight hours. Fun fact on the 6 pack though, legally you can drink and drive a boat at the same time, and as long as youre under the legal limit, you wont get a BUI. Federally speaking at least, i dunno if state laws vary. Regards, former coast guard 😁
We had these back in 1983 at the Shell Factory in Ft Myers Florida. My grand parents took me there when I was a kid. Why did you use the same music from my jack hammer video? :-p
These are awesome! I am curious what and where you found some of your components to build! Is this something you would be willing to connect on? Jay Block
Being in the boat will avoid a prop hit. Falling out of the boat will also avoid it if you have the lanyard attached to you. It's not much different than being in any other boat other that the fact that you can physically run into another boat with these.
@@TheFabricatorSeries but if you fall off your boat because you got bumped into, there's still one engine running and someone in the water ... Short answer is probably "just don't fall" though 😂
@@InformatrIIcks They also have 2 kill switches. It's really hard to fall off or out of these. They're built to be stable while running into each other. Fishing off one of these presents more danger than bumping into another boat.
I used to was a wastewater engineer. I would put money down that that big concrete tank is a clarifier. Most likely a primary clarifier from some wastewater source which settled out the turds and such before dumping the largely untreated water into the river, back in the day before environmental regs mandated secondary treatment. Not knowing exactly where this is, it could also be some sort of clarifier to remove silt and such from the river before being pumped somewhere for something else. Hard to say given the limited details from this video.
Looks like it was under water at some point though. Maybe it was a clarifier before the original lake, then was flooded for years. Did some looking and found out that it is called "Lake Mead Batch Plant". Maybe that will give you more info about what it actually was.
Lake Mead. More like Puddle Mead at this point. Pond Mead? Sad to see what is left of the once great volume of water. Neat boats though. Bicycle parts with weedeater trolling motor kits?

Local amusement complex had similar in 80's, and they were great.

Isn’t it more like “puddle” Mead than lake?
Still a big damn lake. Just not as big a damn lake as it used to be.
Any update on the build video???
Lake Mead looks very sad. Boats look awesome!
When are you going to do a video on the old Lincoln stick welder? - the one that looks like R2D2.
How many miles is it from the shore to actually hit water?
Zero. The point where the water touches land is the shore.
That looks super fun !
just a bit worried by the open impeller and the concept of bumping into each other, but seems like ton of fun nontheless !
