Geez, living here in Baltimore all my life, I remember getting channel 50 from D.C. and I can see here they went through more call letters than I went through socks! From my memory, I remember WFTY, WBDC, WDCW, and I have no clue what it is these days.
WDCW-TV. That's the third set of call letters Channel 50 has here in the Washington area. Only Channel 9 has more calls for an existing station with four (WOIC,WTOP,WDVM and W*USA).
