Absolutely don't know what I'd do without these classics, each night as I hit my bed to drift off laughing and with a smile on my face, then when I'm doing housework etc. Even though I know them all virtually word for word - they never get old and never get stale. Thanks #HeadLikeAnOrange - not all hero's wear capes 🦸🏻
It's been more than 20 years and we're still listening to RSK and there's a Facebook group for the three that has tens of thousands of members. How many people are listening to 20+ year old episodes of Joe and Twiggy?
I was just thinking the same. I must have listened to these shows hundreds of times now and always seem to pick up little 'easter eggs' for their future work.
Badly drawn boy, I remember sat talking with him at portmerion festival #6 one year. Great guy 😊 we were going to do an impromptu set together on a small independent stage after talking for a while and do an off the cuff spontaneous thing until I had a call to say one of my kids had just broken his arm playing American wrestling on the trampoline and I had to make my way out coming up on mdma I'd been given right at that moment amongst a load of drummers marching along in carnival all sprayed silver and lit up, freaked me right out 😂 and took me an age to find out how to leave let alone make my way home over the river to the other side of the estuary in shock and disbelief of what had just happened 😊
The whole story about the divider on the belt at the grocery store is so true. Heaven forbid your lettuce touches their lettuce cause the divider wasn’t down… lol. Seriously.. you think I’ll pay for your groceries by accident or somethin? Right on Steve… been there.. bought the tee shirt
I wonder what Steve did to make Ricky say "Leave it Steve" and I wonder what Steve said 3 times in a row when the fadeout was starting, I think he said "I'm not, I'm not, I'm not going to do this anymore" but I may be wrong?.
Well Well….., was Dr. fox wrong. Years Later we are all still listening to Karl, all over the world. No one heard of Dr. Fox outside of London. Pompous…..
I wonder if with the Sony awards and not winning an award and getting Dr Fox to tell them why they didnt win, I wonder if they look and listen back on this and think wow how much of a success these shows actually were lol
@@chrisbelrand2480 it NEVER gets old. How is that possible? Nothing is funny after you've heard it a dozen times. Karl is forever funny. It can not be explained. 👊😅
@@BakedSalmonNetwork It defies logic. I watched The Office when it came out, I must’ve been about 13. My cousin put me on to the radio shows in the early days of UA-cam. It is still some of the funniest shit I have ever heard.
@MENTALMAN His friendship with Ricky reminds me of the Brent and Finchy friendship from The Office. It makes me cringe. I wish Ricky would tell him to fuck off when he's mean to Karl, but he never does.
The thing with the monkeys and typewriters is there's nothing stopping them from deciding to walk around the room forever or anything else. There's no way to guarantee they would even touch the typewriter at all. They do have a choice of what they want to do, if it was a computer putting out random letter sequences you could guarantee that it would type every possible letter sequence and word combination but not really with an animal.
I hope you enjoy this compilation, Leave us a message. Give it a like!

Im glad Ricky never actually burst.
^^ Username checks out.
"Why wasn't he looking both ways" that done me in ffs. Amazing.

Yea
I’m old. I’m so, so old. I feel like I should be in a rocking chair listening to this. It’s like Stern, but funny.
Stern wishes his show was clever and funny. It’s shite
This works 2 nights in a row , straight to sleep 😴 💤
Steve can dish it out but by Christ he can't take it 😂
Hard to take it from Karl to be fair, man can be savage
The stings land to close to home for him.
Maybe hes not use to it. Most wouldn’t pick on an invalid. 😂
yeah that’s the joke
Steve’s a bit of a prick tbf
@@Christoff070 That's what Susan said, probably
I love how Steve and Ricky literally came up with the pen scene from Extras during an XFM show.
Also there’s the beginning of the “I saw everything” joke when Karl is talking about his auntie Nora
You can legit see so many bits of conversations that have made it into Ricky's standup and TV production
I was just thinking the same. I must have listened to these shows hundreds of times now and always seem to pick up little 'easter eggs' for their future work.
The wanking off to the pen was in extras, there's alot of stuff from the xfm/podcasts that have made it into ricky and Steve's work later.
Tinging its way up the tube

Responsible parent then
Ricky definitely wrote that poem
I think you could be right!!
He didn't.
"It was when I was younger, had a bit more energy"
Said the 30 year old.
That complication at the start 😂, I couldnt breath and now Ive got hiccups
Thank you for putting this together...your hard work is greatly appreciated!

The risk is the clerk will slide it through thoughtlessly. These people are in a daze, like Chaplin in Modern Times in the conveyer belt scene

Does anyone know the background around the invalid thing? It seemed pretty awkward.
Karl has just always been open about the fact that he thinks Steve
looks strange
It’s just not a good thing to call someone an invalid and they all kind of realised it was a bit awkward lol
Lol I doubt they were actually uncomfortable, just a wee joke
it was just a bit randomly brutal i suppose 😂
