I just don’t get…. Why do you need the external flash drive for this?? If it has you download an app, and then all the app does is copy the photos to a different album on the app what is the point? There’s no option to just rip the photos/files from the iPhone to the external flash drive… idk
Hello, thanks for watching my video! The app allows you to save the photos/videos on the USB stick. This can be useful if your phone storage is full and you don't use iCloud. Then you can transfer your photos/videos on another device like a window pc.

Hi , im about to buy this drive , I would very much to know if is any good / worth , I want to use it on an ipad 9 , the seller told me is totally compatible but i have been doing a lot of reading about this drive specifically reviews on amazon , be it the good ones or the bad ones , even though not so good reviews comprise a 5 % of the whole lot , its worth noting there is a certain amount of people who have been having trouble with this stick so it doesnt hurt to always be overly cautious , I already have a nonapple hub, it has allowed me to connect almost anything without me plugging it on an electrical socket , so its that good , but i also think nothing beats the fact of having a drive stuck on your device , it feels more organic
Hi Rene, I am using it to transfer videos recorded with my phone to my laptop (Windows OS) and it has been serving me well so far. In my opinion quite a few of the issues people are experiencing are to do with the software, therefore I have made this video. The buying decision is entirely yours, you did the right thing with researching first!
Greetings, i write this just to let you know I just bought the blackbok drive and as a follow up comment i gotta tell you it works perfectly fine , as i mentioned before I was on the fence because the negative reviews this drive was getting on amazon, anyways i k r any person wouldve checked the reviews ratio , 65% being positive and wouldve skipped the hassle of reading people stating the amount of money and time wasted they incurred in unsuccesfully trying to got it to work, not my case, so i read them all and decided to give it a shot …the drive also worked fine on android , the only thing i didnt like was that the drive wasnt recognized on my hub , all i got was the very same prompt asking me to use the App, I assumed i could use the hub to get around the app when i see fit , no , theres no way to bypass this app which i dont like, but it is what it is..
I have backed up all my photos and videos but now there’s like 5 duplicates of every photo and video…how can I get rid of the duplicates without doing it manually?
It seems like it’s going to be complicated to do and I don’t have a clue to what I’m doing. Do you know if there is something else out there I can buy that’s user friendly. My daughter passed away and I just want to put her pictures and videos in a safe place.

Whenever I put the usb into my pc and try to assess the videos, it says the videos require “HEVC video extension” to view and it only plays audio. Can you help?
Firstly the USB stick needs to be formatted as exFAT, that would allow you to view the files on apple devices as well as windows. If you have created a folder make sure the name of the folder doesn't have any space.

Your video was a help, however why do all my photos show up as PDFs instead of jpegs on my computer? Have not had that issued with other flash drives.

Hello, I'm not sure. Contact the manufacturer or the shop you've bought it from.
You have to convert to something like mp4 if your computer can’t read it, use a free online tool to do this. Forgot which one I used. Just google one.
