Your grandma’s house reminds me of the house that I grew up in (I’m Canadian). We had an outside toilet, burned wood for heat, and didn’t have running water. In the winter, we melted snow or chopped a hole in a lake to get water. All of our homes were heated with wood stoves as well, plus we used clothes lines for drying laundry. Life was good, and it still is. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for making this video and thank your family for sharing their homes! I was very curious when I was on the bus driving in Mexico what the inside of some of these homes looked like. You did a super job narrating and filming this. The dogs were pretty funny! God bless!
You are such a sweet girl! I love how down to earth you are and the attention you put in valuing each detail....Sometimes people get lost in the all the things that are not "perfect" and loose sight of the beauty in everything. I one day want my nieces to visit Mexico as well and see the beauty in things and the connection to those before them 💗
Thank you so much! I love visiting Mexico because I feel like it forces you to see the beauty in everything. It’s just so different from living in Orange County sometimes I even catch myself getting caught up in materialistic things that don’t matter. I would always appreciate it when my dad took me to Mexico and I know your nieces will feel the same way when you take them there. It helps one appreciate their culture & roots🇲🇽❤️
Wow. I'm impressed with your narration. Simple living. I'm glad you mentioned that they are fortunate. So many people can't afford a ho.e. it seems that you have a close family which is what matters. Things don't go to your funeral but family does.
Wow. I really enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing your family home. I hope you continue making more videos. I thought it was funny when you said, "I don't know what I walked into," 😂 Take care! ❤🌷
I have seen hand painted murals in Mexican restaurants I have gone to. They often depict villages or towns with small houses on the hill side above the town. I searched “Small hill side houses in Mexico” and found your video. The video is very well made and narrated.
What a lovely life you have there when you visit. This reminds me of visiting my great aunt 'Maggie' here in MN 60 years ago. I enjoyed it so much! She and my grandmother and other great aunts collected those little glass knick knacks too! My grandmother went a bit overboard even! Their windows were filled with shelves and plants too. Beautiful-but you couldn't see outside from the living room! You're such a sweet young lady. I'm very happy for you.
How cute!!idk if you mind me asking what your parents do for a living?or how can you take time off and go visit ?my dad might be leaving to Mexico soon with my mom and I want to be able to go visit
My mom is a nurse and my dad does construction. I went to Mexico during my winter break! We’re planning on going back in the summer once my family is vaccinated:)

Why do you have dogs on the roof? They need to run, drink water all day and a place to shelter from heat and cold to live with dignity, don't keep them like that, keep them like this on the roof, it's called animal abuse and it's a crime.
Nice video, but you (young lady) have developed a very bad American habit. It is saying the word "like" way too much. You are peppering your talk with the word "like" and it is not necessary. It would be better if you had never learned the word "like".

Your place, house and surroundings are very very similar to some north eastern regions in India.
