Hello dear friends! Today’s oil painting timelapse is a small painting that measures about 6x10 inches, and it’s a study for an upcoming larger piece. This study is painted from life and encompasses the first week of a 3 week pose in class - the last live model session of this school year, so I really want to make it count. For these longer poses I really like to use the first week to do a small study to accurately test out and plan for the bigger final piece. I don’t usually film this initial first step of doing a small study so I thought it would be interesting to show you all what this beginning process is like. Hope you enjoy!

No.judging you paimt amazing, but you paint some figures that are related to demons, or paganesque idols.
And maybe no one ever told you this com but, a monk from Athos told me that we should never paint things that inspire sins.
Is not good , putting that on the wall makes a person feel things..and things are more complex than what we can understand

fwiw, I think I agree with your prof about the waterfall working better on the left. This reminds me of doing music and placing different instruments and voices within the stereo image. With the waterfall on the right, it felt to me like everything was pulling to the right, and with it to the left, it felt like she was contrasting against it with just the right amount of pull in each direction. Of course, you'll make it work either way you decide!!
