Hi darlings! Today's video is a bit different - it's still an oil painting time lapse, it's still a portrait inspired by traditional Chinese paintings (from my most recent mini solo show collection), but I've been experimenting with different video editing styles and techniques lately to hopefully bring you a fresh video diary (or video essay) of the journey of this artwork. I love this!!! I get really inspired with asian themed artworks, specially women wearing kimono. There's just something about the way they look that is unique and sentimental.

I can’t paint, draw or play the piano anymore. I have an illness, where all my joints hurts. Art and music were my life, but watching your videos you keep bringing art into my life, thank you, you are amazingly talented and your teqniques and style are so unique and beautiful😍
That I used to used to photograph paper when I transferred my drawing on carvas from my sketches. Right now I'm doing digital,but maybe I will do that in the near future...I love your saying, that's true that "Imagination is a key of fantasy to bring artwork to life". You are so right! It is fascinating to watch other artists over time as they travel their journey. We all learn many of the same lessons, but in sometimes very different ways. While I wouldn't call your style loose before, definitely not Sargent loose, you seem to have moved into a tighter process, in addition to the flattening out of your style. I think this evolution suits you and your preferred subject matter well. I am so glad you are enjoying the challenge!

Hi Happy D Artist, I’m loving your Oil Paintings and Drawings. You use solvent free gel for painting. How do you layer with Solvent free Gel do we have to follow fat over lean rule or work alla prima. Thanks

I'm not sure if you'll see this, but I was wondering if you could talk about how you dispose of your empty oil paint tubes ( or the ones you've finished in the past) in a video
My grandparents found some old paints (like 1980) and I need to transfer them to new tubes, but I'm not sure how to properly dispose of the old tubes when done.
