I know some people have been asking for the MG kit of the year video, and it is coming but due to supply chain issues both here and in Japan I have not gotten my MG Virtue yet, should get it next month. After I build and review the master grade Virtue I will do a kit of the year video and a year in review livestream............. it is just going to be a little later than previous years.
Jab, sir, that blooper reel was THE most I've laughed in a good long while and with my depression going rampant, I *needed* that laugh sir, thank you very much!
Just got into gunpla this is the second kit I’ve bought as an adult I like it. So far I’m on the head and torso. This video helped secure my confidence in this buy and hobby.
I've really only built the MG Kyrios and Wing Ver Ka. Not really "transforming" suits, so building this was really an interesting experience. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something more unusual and unique.
Any sense of deja vu with the build of the Aegis? The way the arm is built as a unit with the shoulder that's then plopped into the torso on this kit reminded me of that one.
Im not sure how it happens. I cant fit the flight base adapter but after several "wiggle bot, check" cycles, its leaned over enough for all the adapter tabs to fit.
The feet DON’T click together for the transformation? The hell, also this reminds me of the Rahkshi from Bionicle way back, that’d be a fun paint scheme.
My local shop had offered this up to me for when they got their shipments in October. But I had to pass up on them to save my resources for all the other units I still wanted. Didn't want to tie myself up with another SEED unit that I had no interest in. Also, it required a P-Bandai expansion to make it look right. More than 100USD right there when all was said and done with it.
But it really doesn't require the p bandai expansion to look right, to me looks great without any pack. But I really liked how it looks with the build strike pack.
@@sheepfly On its own, its blah. But with a Striker Pack, ZAFT Pack, Impulse Pack, Build Pack or its own Backpack unit, is when its more complete. It's just another cost added to the existing unit that ought to have been included in the box in the first place.
Great review. I do have one question: When we saw early versions of this kit, people pointed out that its shoulder joint is a potential weakness due to the transformation and how thin it is, e.g. the hinge at 7:34 . Any comment? Also, Imma rant a bit: I somewhat like the design, I don't like the lore though. I get it, I get it, Banrise is milking the UC with insert side-stories with ridiculous MSV designs that don't make sense in the continuity of 0079-Zeta-ZZ-CCA (even including 0083), but with SEED and the CE you have even less time between the original and sequel and you just have to ask "where was this thing, its design cues, and technology (those beams on the fore-arms especially) in Destiny?" Sure, the Murasame is also a transforming machine, but its literally a Zeta rip-off in terms of transformation whereas this reminds me more of the Aegis/Testament line which is ZAFT, not Orb. Would've made a good suit for Kira in GSD in an alternative time-line where they don't repair the Freedom and instead build him a new machine, because I think the Freedom should've been laid to rest after its battle with the Providence; sacrificing itself to save its pilot and defeat its enemy.
IBO had a great 1st season, but an alright 2nd season. What ruined that 2nd season was when the writers decided to shoehorn Galieo back into the plot for the sake of keeping the actor around, which in turn killed all the pacing to that 2nd season. Sure Gordon Noblis gets himself killed in the end. But that is after Noblis had someone kill off Mika for him.
...and just when we needed him most, he returned.
Dude...he never left. Posting once or twice a month is just how often his reviews are.

Better late than never(or not at all…). The Virtue looks interesting, I can’t wait to see your experience from building it.
I believe Virtue should be MG kit of 2021.

I think you knocked this review out of the park. Thank you.
I appreciate that!
This model looks very cool. Today I'll get my first Gundam and I hope that will be cool too. I'm looking forward to repainting this weekend. :)
Excellent review.
Looking forward to your virtue
Every time I look at it im reminded of the Turn X's legs

Solid review. Anyone else get Rahxephon vibes from this suit?

I love it. Reminds me of the testament especially the head and feet.
Now you mentioned 178th MG kit...when will we see your whole collection? Dying to see..not the only one who wants to see 🤣
amazing looks, use the armor to balance with feet, but the trigger hands i cant unsee.
The legs had me looking up videos to see if I missed something they were so confusing
Good stuff :)
Are you gonna get the eclipses mobility backpack?
For something that intermidiary between Seed and Seed Destiny this odd one out, wish it come with M1 astray colour scheme
Every time I look at this kit, I think of it as something like a Formula1 car. It just reminds me a racecar.
the guns are part of the transformation look. the flight form needs the base adapter to lock in place too
Im not sure how it happens. I cant fit the flight base adapter but after several "wiggle bot, check" cycles, its leaned over enough for all the adapter tabs to fit.
crap i replied myself 3 mos later. beautiful model.
The feet DON’T click together for the transformation? The hell, also this reminds me of the Rahkshi from Bionicle way back, that’d be a fun paint scheme.
there is a place when the feet are meant to connect..........they just don't
Excellent kit 👍😝
The transformation is like the Para-mail from the anime of Cross Ange.
C'mon, when are you going to review the MG Virtue?
Looks like a fusion between Xi Gundam and Penelope Gundam
Is the build aegis level confusing
It reminds me of Tekkaman Blade if the blue was replaced with red
7:00 I think they should've named this the Yoga Gundam
You missed a chance to say "I xi why" in the begining of the vid
My life for Orb! En taro Kagali!
If this gundam had proper feet it wouldve been perfect but it doesnt lol…felt like the person who designed it had a brain freeze

i had no issues with said joint but I can see where if someone is not careful in the transformation and trying to rush it things could go south fast
😃 Promo`SM!
Even the MG Delta Plus is calling this a bad design.
2nd comment!
First comment!
When it comes down to it I thought Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway was boring as can be.
Iron Blooded Orphans was more Entertaining and it was boring.
