I'm hoping that Bandai makes a 2.0 for the GP02a that fixes the shield problem the old kit had but yeah, I'd really like it if they could revamp the Alex and GP01 too as well as their HG kits
The clay bazooka was always carried under the arm by the Hyaku Shiki. It was more of a shotgun style projectile which is why it's smaller for a bazooka.

To be fair from practical point of view I really like gold in this one over gold in previous version. That shiny gold might look great but like you said, it's finger print magnet.

I think they re-made the runners with the beam saber handles because on the copy that I got recently, the gates were located on the top and bottom of the saber handle not the top and sides like on your kit. I just thought that was interesting.
HELL YEAH! MASTER GRADE NT-1 ALEX AND GP01 ZYPHERANTES, LETS GO BANDAI! Personally I love the new gold, it makes all the detail and silhouette of the kit stand out a lot more than the mirror finish. Definitely gonna be picking up the Mega Bazooka Launcher to go with my Hyaku Shiki 2.0. Also the RE 1/100 Dijeh to get the whole Zeta team together, I know its not a master grade, but the Reborn line has been really good and shows lots of promise.

I am really impressed. Doesn't seem like it has any major vices whatsoever, just the surprising weight issues. Omg i love this kit when i first opend it i thort wow the coulers are so amazing even the grey parts and inner frame was so detailed no need for any paint what so ever panel lineing was a pain tho

Watch your vids is what really got me back into the hobby after I fell out of it in the ninties. Any advice would be much apreciated.

hey jabman! i don't know if you'll see this or not but i just picked up this kit and it seems like the gate marks changed!! the bad nubs on the wrists, beam sabers and thighs are different??? i know it's not a bootleg so bandai must've listened!!~ also the gold is like 8000000000000% consistent on the surface and it's soooo gorgeous.
yup i built it 2 weeks ago and even the backpack nubs were changed, probably for the p-bandai plated version but im glad to see they didn't keep the updated runners exclusive!!
How is the shoulder articulation ? Does it have the same swivel joint like the rest of the 2.0 UC line ? I really love how the 2.0 zakus and 2.0 GMs can swivel their shoulders forward.
U should come to Singapore for the gundam event at Orchard Road Ngee Ann City ( Shopping Mall ) there is ALOT of Gundams there! If im not wrong all the gundams that u have built are there. Including more Gundams... Of course. It ends in 3 more days too. Sorry i forgot to tell u about it cuz i noe dat u wont really take the time to consider and visit for this 1 event... Have you ever done any weathering to a kit because I wanted to weather a kit I got but I am not sure if I should apply stickers and decals before applying a clear coat (I am using pastels for the weathering).

Yeah, a 2.0 of the Zephrantes or Alex would be great. At this point, they're outclassed by the RE kits, even, it's inexcusable how bad the Stamen and Physalis are, as well.

yeah i definitely prefer the paint on this compared to that electroplating fake chrome ass bullshit. it will discolor if it sits in the sun or anything.

clay bazooka could shoot adhesive rounds, regular explosive projectiles and famously, the birdshot rounds

It's actually translucent white plastic coated with black and then gold, apparently.
