Love your builds! I Have watched this one 3 times now my wife wants me to build one for her daughter who is due in April. Thanks for all you do brother!
You never cease to amaze. You seem like just this down to earth cool kinda guy, even as you do these incredible projects. As always thanks for sharing!
What a great piece of furniture, Feddie. Again, loving that chestnut. It turned out absolutely beautiful. And you're right- it is an heirloom. Well done, bud. Troy
Your editing has started to remind me a lot of Jay Bates, which I personally love. Not sure if you got the idea from him or just tried something new, but personally the speed is great. So many people spend way too much time on repetitive stuff and this one really kept my attention, thanks!
Fantastic job Feddie! I have a new grandson & the kids wanted me to build a bassinet, looks like I'll be going with your plans :) Cheers from Nova Scotia Mark
Wow sir, this is absolutely superb! Thumbs up and subscribed. I am useless at diy but I have my first grandchild on the way so may have an attempt at this.
I bought the plans and made a version of this bassinet out of New Zealand Kauri wood and 100 year old foundry maple for my soon to arrive grandson. The plans were great. Thanks so much. Wish I could send you a photo.. not sure how.
+blazingnailgun LOL - "sorry about that, I've got a Carter County helper here with me." I grew up in Sullivan County so this made me grin. I live not too far away in Southwest Virginia now, so when you say you have an accent, I think to myself, "what accent?" ;) Great project. Thanks for sharing!
Barry!!!! I'm sure we kicked some of the same dirt. I am in the Bristol/Bloutville area. Grew up in Sullivan County too. SSHS boy. I'm betting we have crossed paths somewhere along the way!
I graduated from Central and much of my family's still in the area (I'm just a few miles north now). I'm in Blountville all the time. Great place to live, even with all the fancy new stuff they're getting. Heck, I heard they're putting in a Hardee's next to Pal's. BIG CITY! Ha!
Thanks for checking it out Doug. Yeah, I thought it was cool to fab those brackets/hinges. Wish I had more occasion to TIG though. That is definitely a "practice makes perfect (or makes you suck a little less)" skills. Digging that longboard you did. Don't break a leg!
Thanks for the kind words, W5. I don't really have a shop tour vid. They always bore the crap out of me when other folks do them so I have kinda stayed away from them. :-)
I always enjoy your videos. I always learn something and always laugh out loud. Today's laugh was that shocker stick, is this the first time is been in a video?
Jeff!!!! Thanks for checking in. Great to hear from you man. Yeah, The Shocker has been in the last couple of vids. Going to start producing them for sale soon. :-)
its been a while Feddie!👍💥 glad to see ur still making vids and building beautiful projects like this!-if i had the $id buy alot of the festools. "i dont hate,,,i appreciate " ;) whats next?
Joe!!!!1 Good to hear form you man. Thanks for watching. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to accumulate some very nice equipment over the years. Very grateful!
Great job and a beautiful piece. I stole an idea or two from this build when I made a cradle for my grandson a couple months ago. I am curious, how much did you sell this for? Thank you
Likewise the sun seems to have no limits here. It's good to hear from you! I thinking of doing a video, but I am not quite sure how to go about it. I only have a cell phone and a digital camera. I will do research though.
I really like those dog clamps on your work bench. They look like they have an easy lock mechanism but also durable. Great video as well. I love reclaimed wood furniture. What kind of wood glue is that, just TiteBond 1? Thanks again for the video.
I recently purchased the reclaimed wood bassinet plans on 8-12-17 but have not received them via email. I have checked primary, social, promotional and spam. Still nothing. If you can help out Freddie I would be greatly appreciative.
Great job. I love your videos. How would you build the swivel part without welding? or would you sell a set of those pins you made? (I don't have a welder).
Thanks for checking it out, Mike. You could thread a nut on the bolt with permanent locktite on it? Might hold up that way. I could make them for you but they are pretty labor intensive. Probably looking at 75 bucks to to it.
Feddie, Real nice Bassinet build, i'm in the process on making a Cradle, what kind of mattress are you using? or are you guna let the new owners get it?. Thanks for sharing. Chuck
Thanks DesertBum! I appreciate the kind words. Yeah, I reluctantly turned it over to the client.... :-) I'm not sure what they are going to do about a mattress. I just built it to the specs they requested.
To this day July 10 2020. I paid for the plans on sketch up and still unable to download them or find them any way I can get the prints on this Beautiful bassinet
+Luke Skove I’m not sure what the issue is Luke but I can’t do anything through this message board. Have you emailed me directly about it? I haven’t seen anything from you. Send me an email and I will happily reply with the file you are asking about.
Fantastic job and love the rocker mechanism you fabricated too!
Joe

Nice project. By the way, I used your videos to install a new staircase and railing a while back. They were super helpful. Thanks.

Wonderful build! Did you progressively increase the domino slots as you drilled for the rails? Thanks
Love it, know any place to buy the swing mechanism. Might be hard for me to fabricate
Wow! That's turned out awesome. You even had a little welding in there. Take care of that hat! LOL
Thanks for checking it out Doug. Yeah, I thought it was cool to fab those brackets/hinges. Wish I had more occasion to TIG though. That is definitely a "practice makes perfect (or makes you suck a little less)" skills. Digging that longboard you did. Don't break a leg!

Hahaha. Thanks for watching!
Great. Amazing. AWESOME!!! Do you have a video/tour of your shop layout and all of your Tools? I enjoy your videos.
Thanks for the kind words, W5. I don't really have a shop tour vid. They always bore the crap out of me when other folks do them so I have kinda stayed away from them. :-)
I had to download Sketch Up to open the plans, but only see the 3D picture. Where can I find the parts list?
I always enjoy your videos. I always learn something and always laugh out loud. Today's laugh was that shocker stick, is this the first time is been in a video?
Jeff!!!! Thanks for checking in. Great to hear from you man. Yeah, The Shocker has been in the last couple of vids. Going to start producing them for sale soon. :-)

Heck yeah! Lemme know how it turns out!
Was looking for the plans, but it was a dead link. Can you please tell us where to find plans?
I try to tap on the link so I can download the plans and I keep getting ads. All I want are the plans!
I really like those dog clamps on your work bench. They look like they have an easy lock mechanism but also durable. Great video as well. I love reclaimed wood furniture. What kind of wood glue is that, just TiteBond 1? Thanks again for the video.
Thanks for the view, Adam. I really appreciate it. Yep, just Titebond....
I tried going to your website to download the plans but kept getting redirected to some other website with no bassinet plans.
What kind of tool were you using to put the pickets in
I'm just starting out. I need to build a stand for my miter saw. My space is very limited. Any ideas brother
Are the as-built drawings still available
How much wood do i need, what kind of nails, length and bread should i cut
If ordering plans, how long will it take to mail out?
Hey, the link doesn't work anymore. Any chance you still have those Sketchup plans?
y voy a hacer esa cuna
I recently purchased the reclaimed wood bassinet plans on 8-12-17 but have not received them via email. I have checked primary, social, promotional and spam. Still nothing. If you can help out Freddie I would be greatly appreciative.
Ordered plans 4 weeks ago , still have not recieved them.
Hello! Can you help with its size?
I am interested in your assembly table. Do you have a video on that build?
Scott Spaw that’s a festool mft table. It’s runs about $650-$750
ua-cam.com/video/DplAivn_3i0/v-deo.html
Feddie built that table
Thanks. Maybe I could take the nut and bolt to a metal shop and have them spot weld them for me. Your project turned out pretty amazing.
Отличная кроватка! Супер!
Another great. Video man. Who is your sidekick ?
Thanks for checking in, Cory. Good to hear from you. Zack is a local guy I know. He is my source for all this really nice barn wood.
Is it possible to explain my wood sizes
Wow, that is an awesome piece, was that wood from a barn in your family?
Thanks Wayne. No, but it was a local barn.
No link at the end
