Man, this brings me back to building the crib for our first little dude! Definitely a very similar design, so many parts to fit and sand. That project took forever!
I actually watched your video a few times during the build to figure out some parts of the process! 😆 It was an excellent build! And yeah, I totally underestimated the amount of time sanding and even finishing…
Hi Cristiana, at the end of the video you said 'really proud of the piece' and so you should be, the cot-bed was beautiful and made with such loving care. About 17 years ago I made a similar one in maple, but no clouds, and it is now 'cuddling' it's 5th child. You are a true artisan.
It is always a pleasure to watch your videos, the information and commentary is excellent. The crib/toddler bed is really cute, you took so much care to make it as safe as possible. I did have to laugh about the finish being safe enough in case a child chews on it. Yes they will!!!
Wow. Amazing build as always! :) Also, the offcuts around 5:50 would make a great follow-up present as building blocks once the baby is old enough for that :) just round over the edges, maybe stain some of them... I had similar ones as a kid and loved them, each one was unique and I gave them names and all :D
Nice interlude @5:32 Yes glue ups are a good time to panic. I find doing a dry run with all your clamps etc. is helpful. Great job on the crib, I hope many of your new family and friends children get to grow up in it.
To show appreciation to a company like Rockler while still being so subtle in your filming of the whole process was amazing. Another beautiful video and final product
That's a wonderful project! I like how you used an empty box so the pieces can drop in there from the table saw. I also get a bit nervous with glue-ups, especially with big ones. What I do is plan ahead and have all of the clamps and other items in place so when I start the glue up I can complete it without panicking.
An absolutely stunning work of art. The crib is so beautiful. I hope you have a family member who is going to need it soon. Thank you so much for sharing this video xxx
Oh wow. I love how you always put a lot of attention to detail in everything you build, but in this case you have outdone yourself. So much thinking and hard work in the design and construction… amazing
You have a ton of amazing projects, but this one........this one is art. Absolutely love it. From design to prep, to make it, to video editing, everything is perfect. Best UA-cam video in a looooong time.
5:32 that is the most ASMRy thing I've ever actually experienced ever. There are so many channels that say they do it and I don't get feel anything. But this? Dang, I almost couldn't handle or take it. Was overwhelmed by the tingly ticklyness of it.
Those off-cut cubes ... mmm, so nice. Glue-up: I did my very first EVER glue-up this afternoon. It's my first workbench and I was doing the legs. I checked, checked and checked again that I was about to glue the right parts together, then just went go, go, go!! All good. 😋 I love this clean design and your precision and focus on accuracy. You are right to be proud of this project - a very lucky baby!
I am really impressed, great design and beautiful finish. I don't write opinions too often, but it's hard not to write it here. Congratulations and greetings from the other side of Europe.
Truly a piece of ART! Amazing craftsmanship and outstanding attention to detail, I am in awe of your skills. I picked up a few tips from your video that I hope to include in upcoming projects. Thank you for posting
It's amazing how far you've come since the start of your channel. I used to leave suggestions and tips in the comments occasionally to pass on some of my woodworking experience. Now you can teach me a thing or two ! Really nice project.
The crib looks lovely and it was a pleasure to watch it being made. One thing concerns me, though. Remembering what our daughter got up to almost as soon as she could stand, I can see an inquisitive little explorer using the cloud as a ladder to escape over the side with unfortunate consequences.
This is such a beautiful crip. Sadly I'm too old to have more children, but I hope for grandchildren soon. My husband is a joiner (carpenter), so I'll ask him to make a bed like this for our future grandchildren ❤️ ☁️🌩
You probably know this already, but Titebond makes a glue with a longer open time. It helps me when I have a more difficult assembly. I just thought I would share with you. I enjoy your videos. Thank you from Ohio in the United States.
Like every time you made an artistic work… in each video everything is perfect, the sound, the voice and the process of the construction. Thank you for that. Watching your videos is always a great moment (And sorry for my bad french English 😂)
9:01 You can always use hide glue, it has a longer working time, that way you don't have to rush during glue-ups. Hide glue is truly amazing stuff, you should try it if you haven't. Plus it's the one glue that is reversible, you can remove it with a heat gun if you make a mistake.
Beautiful design and looks super safe. I think the modern simplicity and wood joinery will keep it solid and baby proof. The cribs from stores with iterative design for safety I’d reason it’s because they’re not starting simple and solid. They’re designing flexibility for packing and shipping to sell or other reasons for features. Meh, shower thoughts so don’t take any of that like I’m a baby crib engineer with any experience. Just based on observations.

Yes! Perfect timing, I am about to start the adventure of making this exact crib for our coming baby. Muito obrigado

So much attention to detail, it's wonderful that after all these years watching your channel your work don't cease to amaze me!
Rockler: I can't imagine a better ambassador for your products. Thank you very much for sponsoring!
100% agree
Wow thanks Steve :)
100% Agree and when She says, "Booom". It smells very beautiful and inspiring.
You're an *ARTIST!*
You have every right to be really proud of this one, what a beautiful piece and video!!
My dad's a carpenter and I used to love shuffling and clacking those little wooden cubes too ❤️
Hi Cristiana, at the end of the video you said 'really proud of the piece' and so you should be, the cot-bed was beautiful and made with such loving care. About 17 years ago I made a similar one in maple, but no clouds, and it is now 'cuddling' it's 5th child. You are a true artisan.
You are such a talented woodworker. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone who can match your skills and talent. Well done, that’s an 11/10 perfect
Omg wow :)))
So agree! She's so innovative! So cool.
A talented artist with beautiful hands and deep, expressive eyes indicating the big soul Chris has.
Greetings from Australia

I loved hearing that you followed the European and Portuguese guidelines for crib dimensions to make sure everything was built safely.
I love that you put the baby/toddler in mind over the course of this build, really goes to show that you put heart and care to your builds. Great job!
What a cute crib! Cleverly designed and beautifully executed... i wish i was this baby sleeping in a little cloud 😍
Fantastic. The crib is where a baby starts to grow artistically. Its surroundings awaken the soul.
Not only your projects are absolutely amazing, but the quality and editing of your videos are outstanding!

What a awesome job. We can see that you take care of all details in the project.
Tha baby/child that will use it will feel safe and loved

You took the level of care on this project to the next level!!
I would totally buy this! It's just perfect.
Booooom! Another artwork!!! Good job from Italy🇮🇹👋🥁❤
Wow! So much care and attention to detail going into this project. Hope it stays in the family...
This is, by far, my most favorite build of yours
This is one of your best projects. Really loved this one. I also like the way you’ve put the product details onscreen.
This needs more views! Thanks for your walkthrough build!
Playing with blocks. Best pastime ever.

Amazing attention to detail. If this is for your future child congrats, if not also congrats on gaining such wonderful levels of skill.
An absolutely stunning work of art. The crib is so beautiful. I hope you have a family member who is going to need it soon. Thank you so much for sharing this video xxx
A beautiful piece and a wonderful gift. I'm sure the family will enjoy this for many years to come. Thanks for sharing!
Stunning. And, yes, the baby will chew the finish!
Those little blocks 😍
Oh wow. I love how you always put a lot of attention to detail in everything you build, but in this case you have outdone yourself. So much thinking and hard work in the design and construction… amazing

What a beautiful project. This turned out perfect and the clouds were a superb touch.
The accuracy and care you put into your projects is so inspiring! This turned out so clean and beautiful. Amazing work!
Absolutely stunning result. I laughed when you talked about the maple finish, because my child chewed quite a lot on her crib.
Really nice project, good videography and great story telling. Thanks
Absolutely amazing build! And you got some wood block ASMR in there too. Lol
5:32 that is the most ASMRy thing I've ever actually experienced ever. There are so many channels that say they do it and I don't get feel anything. But this? Dang, I almost couldn't handle or take it. Was overwhelmed by the tingly ticklyness of it.
That is a big compliment! Thank you!
That is one masterpiece right there
It is just gorgeous ! The attention to detail is everything! Great work !

I don’t know why UA-cam took so long to bring me to you, but glad they finally did! Amazing work!
I am really impressed, great design and beautiful finish. I don't write opinions too often, but it's hard not to write it here. Congratulations and greetings from the other side of Europe.

Wow! Stunning project, Cris! Great job
Oooh, you’ve gotten a ‘free’ set of toy blocks with this project, I’m sure your nephew would love them too.

Completely in awe of your talent. Your attention to detail is absolutely second to none. Keep up the great work! :D
This was incredibly well done.
this is absolutely beautiful.
I never tought a baby crib could be so tasteful
Awesome job on that project as usual. 👍
Wow this is beautiful! I love how meticulous you were about straightness lol. Thanks for making this video; it's pretty inspiring :)
A truly beautiful piece - thank you for sharing it with us
Wish I would have seen this before buying a crib for our daughter.
There should be a glue inhibitor additive you could mix on small batches to make the open time longer for glue ups like these. Love your videos!!!
It's amazing how far you've come since the start of your channel. I used to leave suggestions and tips in the comments occasionally to pass on some of my woodworking experience. Now you can teach me a thing or two ! Really nice project.

That was my thought too! My daughter would push the boundaries and climb out of this for sure!
Great workmanship and a great video though :)
This is such a beautiful crip. Sadly I'm too old to have more children, but I hope for grandchildren soon. My husband is a joiner (carpenter), so I'll ask him to make a bed like this for our future grandchildren ❤️ ☁️🌩
Awesome... magnifique... stupendo... LOVE IT
AWESOME build! I just made a crib using hard maple as well!
Your work is impressive and an inspiration! And the videos are so good to watch. Please don’t stop creating. 👍🏻
That's a beautiful job!! I wish to watch more video from you!! Have a nice day!
A true labour of love, beautiful!
Love your work.
It's so cute!
You can get 'dowel centre points' for marking the bolt holes, they insert from the outside so you won't struggle between slats ;)
Beautiful piece and great video. So many good skills and techniques in this one. Keep up the good work!
Probably my favourite build you've done! exceptional quality of detail. So well designed. Mad skills. Very jealous :) Great job, Cristiana
This is epic, such nice work
Beautiful. What a lucky child!
Anyone else amazed by how much the crane moved in the background?
18:22 was so satisfying
You probably know this already, but Titebond makes a glue with a longer open time. It helps me when I have a more difficult assembly.
I just thought I would share with you. I enjoy your videos. Thank you from Ohio in the United States.
Absolutely beautiful, incredible design. Awesome craftsmanship.
Amazing!, the detail in every piece, you are my number 1 inspiration to my work. You are simply the best !! Congratulations!!
Like every time you made an artistic work… in each video everything is perfect, the sound, the voice and the process of the construction. Thank you for that. Watching your videos is always a great moment

I have a bag of it but haven’t tried it yet…will give it a shot in a near future!
