Thanks man! They're definitely one of my favorite bands ever & have a laundry list of great songs to check out for anyone who hasn't heard much from them. This song has the best balanced display of everything Fear Factory has to offer from their best album. Burton C. Bell's vocals are just top tier. I like it when an artist or band can be heard by music they've made that isn't stereotypical. Most people go for the same old go tos & it's so boring. This was really cool though. 💎👍
LOVE the rawness of your reactions with zero editing or do-overs....keepin' it REAL, darling! The opening chatter harkened back to "One Adam-12, one Adam-12...." for me. (RIP Martin "Officer Pete Malloy" Milner!) I don't know a whole lot by Fear Factory but I thought this was pretty decent...great riffs and interesting transitions. Whenever this band comes up, I always think back on the early 2000's show Fear Factor and Joe Rogan's final statement to the winner: "Evidently, fear is not a factor for you!" (Maybe not, but evidently money was....that show was INSANE!!)
The music was like an earthquake live. Burton C. Bell’s voice around 1998 when I first saw them. Was at it’s peak. Because his roars were like a nuclear bomb going off. His cleans were on point. The band of course was devastating as described. Death metal combined with alternative metal. I saw them opening up in Milwaukee, WI the majestic theatre with headliners monster magnet and rob zombie. Seen them only 5 times. Bummer should have seen them more.
I saw the same tour, but in Maine on Halloween. Didn't even know who Fear Factory was at the time, went for Zombie but damn they were amazing. Went the next day and bought the CD's at a local music store. On the other hand was completely turned off from Monster Magnet, no clue about your show but at mine the lead singer was so wasted he almost fell off the stage several times.
@@Actalzy Monster magnet had a string of radio play. So they were well received by the crowd. And a lot us knew who ff was thanks to knowing them for their first two albums. Great show Rob zombie was huge setup stage props and presence.
THE. WEAPONS OF. MASS DESTRUCTION!!!!! Not this song, but you gotta love Fear Factory...... This album....this band..... SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCCCCKKKKKKKKKK
Shane…thanks for the Fear Factory reaction! I’ve always really dug their musical style. You know what to do sir…even if you don’t do, too many more reactions from them. Put ‘em back on your personal playlist‼️
It's unfortunate, but their 2004 comeback album Archetype (and 2005 album Transgression which was rushed by their label to capitalize on the success of Archetype and mixed very poorly) will likely never be available on streaming. Such an amazing album that will get overlooked just because people won't see it.
Just listen to demanufation, Obsolete and digimortal, that should do it, I listen to meshuggah, archspire, etc You will hear meshuggah in a load of these songs as we know them, when meshuggah were still sounding like metallica
@@richard7645 I love what became their archetypal sound, but God damn, was "Soul of a New Machine" ever a ripper of a death metal album. I think I'd have been just as content if they had done that for their entire career.
Oooh yeah i love these guys. I caught up with these after i discovered Pantera and Sepultura back in early nineties i was the pioneer on this music in my school while others were getting into hardcore punk i started wearing heavy chains and armyboots/dr martens :). I definetly agree with you sounds like Max Cavalera cloned himself on this one. Edgecrusher is better though imo ;)

The chorus of that song gives me chills
chilling and true...police state 2022..becoming reality....
Sercuritron Police State 2000 is a movie in itself. I can still listen to it over and over just like in 1998. 🚔🤖🦾

I've seen Burton walk on stage wasted try to perform. There obsolete cycle was his peak.
The outro of this song brings it back to harmony I love it 😁😍
Truncate your yapping! It took over 5 minutes to get to the quick! Constructive criticism! Gotta love it! Hug & smile!
you must be new around here......

While I am not that much into Fear Factory, what I have heard I do like.
So what you're saying is that your car warranty isn't about to expire?
Dude, you totally need to check out the band Stone from Finland. Some great songs are Day of Death, Brain Damage, Stone Cold Soul.
Do more FF reviews try Self Bias Ressistor by Fear Factory!
Is this a review or mockery? Ha haaaaa
Chris Farley ladies and gentlemen. Stay away from drugs kids.
You are delightfully cringe to watch and i mean that in a nice way 😅
i'll take it!
Hey can you do a reaction of of Fear Factory's God Eater???
That's a good song too.🤙
