When I was headbanging to this in the 90's, I coudn't realize that I would be here in 2024 just like my father was listening to Deep Purple !
I'm 40 and getting there with Pantera!
And the cycle continues.
I saw this in my feed and was like !!!! Also love what Deep Purple is doing! (And Pantera, of course!) A collaboration I've always wanted though - Imagine if Tool and Fear Factory did something...
Deep Purple is a great classic hard rock band, so is early Rainbow. One of the British bands that were the precursor to Metal and what it evolved into. Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, The Who and many other British Hard Rock Bands of the 70s were the nucleus of heavy metal. Many American 70s classic rock bands contributed to Metal as well. Boston, Kansas, Lynyrd Skynyrd and early 70s Aerosmith are just a few out of many more I can think of.
I'm 45 and still bang to this peak metal
Fuck. I was pissed with the whole Burton story, I love the guy but now it's hard to deny that this guy does a really great job here. Props to him.

I understand that for some FF without Burton is not acceptable, and that's totally understandable and reasonable.
But it is what it is, and there's no reason to act like a prick about it, and call the man a poser.
For me personally it would be more interesting if new vocalist sounded different than Burton, and was not trying to channel/emulate FF look/vibe so much.
But I get it, they wanted to play it safe and familiar.
A true test for current line up and Milo will be new material, since Burton was also the lyricist, and what he brought with his writing was very crucial for FF's overall identity.

For a non native speaking english guy with an accent he is very close with his vocals and hes clearly having the time of his life there. Never thought FF would be going still... and this sounds great.

He hits the clean melodies really really well. I held my breath waiting for the first singing part and he totally killed it. Growls are on point too. Very nice.
Exactly my thoughts! Now a believer!
sounds a lot like Burton as well. Which is good, too many vocalists join a band after a legendary vocalist leaves and try to make it work with their own vocal style, which obviously doesn't work since the band likely wouldn't have make it without iconic vocals

The new vocalist is GREAT
I wouldn't say great lol. He's good enough to perform the songs somewhat ok and his cleans are def better than Burtons live cleans. Even with autotune Burton struggled in his later years.
@SFGPCs Burt struggled to sound very good live in when I saw them touring on Digimortal, but the two shows I saw them play in the late 90s were amazing, they were absolutely on fire after Obsolete came out.
I saw them with Milo right after he joined and I have to say that he's really upped his game in the more recent videos I've seen.
He reproduces Burton's vocals perfectly!
Sounds like Max Cavalera with syndrome.

The ''new'' singer is so good, That's the job of a new singer replacing someone with a unique vocal, He has to sound like him. It's crucial and he does a great job. Props to the drummer too, this shit must be really tough to play
It's not tough to play by any means from an ability standpoint, the issue is Burton/Raymond both had a very distinguished sound, being able to capture that sound without sounding like a cover band is almost impossible.
Right now Milo & Webber are checking all the boxes while having their own little flare. Dino pulled one out of his ass for sure with these 2. Truly impressive that FF right now, is FF with only one original member.
BTW the drummer is from the band Havok
@@blacksoul1 Yeah i know, he's good ! I'm listening to Mechanize right now, Killer album with the legendary Gene Hoglan
Туда бы Женьку на барабаны, был бы полный пиздос, этот не тянет
this band looks fake to me
I was very pleasantly surprised at how good they sounded. Dino definitely has the best lineup now since the classic era. Milo sounds so good on both harsh and clean vocals. Tony Campos is a great bass player. Also, I had no idea that was Pete Webber on drums until they said he name. I thought he looked familiar but then I was like nah, because he is in Havok. Apparently he is holding down 2 full time gigs now.
People commented on how his kick drums sound sloppy but I don't think that's his fault. They insist on using triggers to make the kick drums stand out and they can sometimes be off, especially if you play really fast. I have no doubt about Pete's skills, being a big Havok fan. Also being a longtime FF fan, it is great to hear them sound clos to how they used to. Burton era snobs need to recognize, they were sounding terrible towards the end. They sound really tight again now!
As a drummer (drumming for 28 years now) that plays with triggers and now plays an e-kit, that kick wasnt sloppy at all
Things to be considered after watching this concert:
1- Milo is the perfect guy for FF nowadays!
2- FF should be forbiden to perform without Tony Campos. The guy is solid as rock and loves to be in the band.
3- the ending with Zero Signal was nothing but epic😢
To speak on point 2, Campos has been holding down the low end now in a live capacity since the Genexus album. The rare times he isn't is when he's touring with Static-X, as you noted. Campos is a bassist by demand, and a hell of a great one.
@@fromdepthswerise3024 yeah! I know Static X is his band and priority. However, every time I see him performing with FF it seems to me that always was his spot.

Thats because this guy is enhancing Herrera's drums, Ray never played like this & used a lot of studio help. He was good with his feet but no so much with his hands & thats putting it very lightly
@@patientmental875agreed. This dude is an animal player.
I'm Thai fan. I like FF from the album. Demanufacture Nowadays, I still like it even though there are new singers.
Did you just went to their live in BKK?
@@nattawata.6223 ไม่ได้ไปครับ โครตเสียดาย 😞
I still remember when I saw them last year in Mexico City, Milo sings very well, so I hope Fear Factory releases an album with him soon
THIS NEW SINGER IS LIIIIIIIT. PHENOMINAL JOB. Dammit I love Burton but this dude was on time, on pitch and brought my favorite parts to life when I was used to them being looked over live. amazing job. this video reignited my love for ff live
Milo doing the band justice. 🤘🏽🥹
True. But now we need a drummer..
@@michaelromeo9567 Yea ... I noticed that. Dude was kinda outta time on a few songs there.
@@the_music_dude_ Bring back Raymond HERRERA.. 🙏
@@michaelromeo9567 💯!!!
Milo is a great addition to FF, it was painful to hear Burton struggle with the clean vocals.
Cuz he was getting old, it is so easy for u to critisize
Milo also cannot sing those clean parts....he is using effects.
@ericderami he can sing those parts, and yes, he's using effects, Burton did too.
@@michaelcampos7811 I swear, I hear pitch correction (autotune) on some of the songs.
They sounds fresh now. Very good! Legends!
Man how nice to see FF still going.
This is actually the first time I hear a whole set of a band I never listened to before and like pretty much all of the songs. I see a lot of comments talking about the previous singer and I don't know him, but this Milo guy here is actually insane.
That was f.. good! Even the “veteranos” look younger! That Zero signal was great! FATALITY!!!🎸
I am good friends with pete on drums!
This band has always kicked serious ass and even more so now with him on the skins. 🤘🏻
Tell him to warm up more, his doubles were sloppy as hell in What Will Become
Fantastic drummer🤘
It's very hard to replace Ray, Gene and Mike, but he's the right person!
I saw Fear Factory at Download Festival recently, and they were absolutely brilliant. The new line-up rules and Milos vocals are exactly what this band needs. 🤘
Man... I wasn't expecting such clean, angelic choruses and the crowd reminds me of those savage 90s days, especially the Dynamo show. Serious FF fan here and obviously a BCB fan, but Milo does fill a huge set of shoes seamlessly. A bit more live experience and Burton will be just a good memory of the past.
If every hair on ur body doesnt stand up when Powershifter starts u must b dead already cuz that shit gets me PUMPED every time. FUUUCK🤘
This guy sounds so much like the original vocalist that you can't really tell it's a new guy too much
This new vocalist is incredible
Milo is absolutely fantastic, I love his clear passion and love for the music that comes through in his performances. He also has an absolutely fantastic voice that suites this band perfectly, is he Burton? No, he is Milo, he is the new breed and I’m all here for it man. \m/
Milo is literally Burt 1994-1998
woww...seems fear factory is returning to gold era!
Almost perfect only Pisschrist and Resurrection is missing from this set.
Yeah I was really looking for those.
They do those songs on a headlining tour, for festivals it’s just the heaviness.
Dude that version of Demanufacture was insanely good.
Saw these guys back in 95. Always been a great band.
Ah man, the ending of Zero Signal gave me goosebumps! Well done Milo (yes, a special mention is well deserved) and Fear Factory!
FATALITY !!!!!!!
Holy shit! I had to fast forward to hear Replica and Zero Signal just to see if what I heard in the beginning was real. This new singer is fucking killing it live \m/
