I'm really curious as to what rims and the size of the tires you're running. I just bought a 2010 Turbo and I'm having a devil of a time finding rims that will fit over the big brakes. Or did you swap them out for smaller brakes? Ah, you just mentioned it at the end.. Great video, answered pretty much all my questions.
It was painful to down grade brakes. But yes we had to swap out the turbo s large brakes for the ones that come on the Turbo. It was the only way to run an 18 inch tire. If your not really going to do really hard off road trails that just use a 20 inch wheel.
@@adrenalin.industries I haven't found a 20" wheel that will fit here in Chile. In the meantime I've opted for 19" wheels from the next gen Cayenne and some Falken Wildpeak AT Trails. Not ideal, but they should work until I decide how hard I really want to wheel it. I'm not really keen on downgrading the brakes either.
Six of them? So you guys are the ones who kept taking every gen 1 turbo on ksl about a year ago xd I settled w a base gen 2 and it has a rear locker and I want to do similar things to mine. Did you guys encounter any eurowise parts where quality or fitment were not up to par that I should avoid?
Yes we bought 3 of the 6 locally on KSL in Utah. But none of them had the rear locker. Eurowise parts are good. Just get the heavy duty version of their lift.
@@adrenalin.industries All of them with the 2 lights on the off-road switch have rear and center lockers, which is pretty much all GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S trucks. I think it may actually be standard with those trims. The option in the Advanced Off Road package you're talking about, which comes with the rock sliders, is the electronic disconnecting sway bars. A rare package indeed.
@@dylanbond1627 In Australian delivered Cayenne S 955 model 2003 -2007 comes as standard kit rear and centre lockers plus has the desirable high and low range gears , something they phased out in later models this is why 955 is the one to get. Air suspension or rock sliders these were options on the S version and turbo has the air suspension as standard , rock sliders disabling sway bars are as rare as hens teeth but were options.
I'm waiting on the first breakdown lol just got myself a 955. Thanks for the video
Beautiful build!
550 HP this thing it’s a beast 😮

It’s pronounced “Por-sha”, it’s a last name. It matters. Cool build.

We need a sound check :)
Are the tires 285/65/18?
Hey how can you tell on the Cayenne weather they have the rear locker or not 😊?
If you switch the left rocker switch through all the off road modes, than you should see it with the little red indicator light beside it.
The easiest way to tell if it “might” have the rear locker is if it has factory rock slides.
I’ve got a ‘09 Turbo S with the rear locker- though no rock slides.
