Boston is a great American rock band who had their biggest success in the 70's-80's. They had a lot of great songs such as "More Than A Feeling", "Peace Of Mind", "Rock & Roll Band", "Smokin'", "Foreplay/Long Time", "A Man I'll Never Be", "Feelin' Satisfied", "We're Ready", "Amanda", "Hitch A Ride", "Hollyann", "Cool The Engines" etc.
I've seen Boston in concert many times. They put on a phenomenal show! One of the few bands who actually sound just as good live, if not better, than they do in the studio. RIP Brad Delp. One of the best rock vocalist of all time. Yet so overlooked at the same time. 🤘😎

Brad Delp RIP. He was my second favorite singer back then...first was Steve Perry!! Those 2 were the best . I also liked Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin but their music was very different than Boston and Journey. My opinion growing up with these groups.

Try the STUDIO versions of their biggest songs, in no particular order: "More Than a Feeling"; "Foreplay, Long Time", "Feelin' Satisfied"; "Peace of Mind". I love this song. I grew up in this era. I was around 11 when this came out in 1976-1977.
This isn't live. It's an abridged version of the studio recording with crowd noise mixed in. This is missing about a minute and a half of the song. Listen to the full studio version. Brad Delp sings ALL the parts, BTW. Boston never created any official videos. If you watch the "More Than A Feeling" video, they cut the entire 2nd verse and chorus! Listen to the studio versions, please. You'll thank me.

Between their vocal and guitar harmonies, you can't beat them. So many songs - brings back great memories of being young in a different time. Please keep checking them out. You can't get any more classic rock than Boston.
This is my favourite Boston song by far. It goes off! The vocals and guitar work is awesome! RIP to lead singer Brad Delp. One if the best rock voices ever
Love their sound. Guitars are more basey than most rock groups. Great harmonies too.
This was the title song of their second album. It got criticised at the time, for not being as good as the debut album. Not by me. I love it!

EVEN if the critics were right and it "wasn't quite as good as the first album" Meh - the first album was pure platinum where every single song was a radio hit. I'd say living up to the first album was improbable and even if not quite there is true - it was still head and shoulders above most everything else released at that time! Put another way - if the first album was a 10, and the second one was a 9 (not quite as good) - you're still rocking a 9.5 average!!!

I was so lucky that I got to meet a couple of the members of that band, the singer also had a Beatles cover band called Beatle Juice, there's a couple of you tube videos, Beatle Juice 1996 is a half show, I met him after a Beatle Juice show in 2006. Back in 92 I not only got to meet the drummer Sib Hashian who by the way was The Rocks father in law but I also got him to smoke a dubie with me, both of them so down to earth and loved their fans, May they both rest in peace. You probably didn't know this but the drummer Sib had a massive heart attack while playing on a legends of rock cruise and died in his friend Tunes Antunes arms, Tunes is the sax player for the band john cafferty and the beaver brown band

Saw them in 78 ..i was in middle school..i had no clue how good they were until i was much older ..lol but even then..I still thought they were good..but they are EVEN BETTER NOW!!! Lol

yup - they were really all that. The whole thing was the product of the lead guitarist Tom Scholz - he created it all in his basement and performed it with the best he could find.
Please do dive in! "More Than a Feeling" was probably their best song....but Dagmar S. gave you some great recommendations across the board....

Great great song. Yeah, mustaches were in back in the 80’s. When I see picks of my husband back then, it looks so ridiculous. A mustache needs a beard. Sadly, the lead singer has passed.
Adogg - love Boston and your reactions. But please when possible stick with the studio recordings. Not only do they sound better - but this one in particular shaved off part of the song; there was a bridge and chorus still to go.
Great song, but you got short changed. They left the whole ending off, more than a whole minute.
You still have all eight songs from their first, plus at least on from their third albums.

He explained that. Go look back at his explanation and you will understand. He gets blocked and has to make his videos transparent to get them to play. It takes alot of work on his part
Great reaction but this is their “official” video & it sucks…..cuts out 2 guitar parts especially the climatic outro at the end…..Had to be shortened & more palatable for TV consumption I guess…..Download the studio version to your “drive/cruising” playlist

Singer's name Brad Delp...passed away by his own hand, I believe after the next album..3rd stage...sad...
